I went here july 31 and it was my first time ever going to go get a manicure and a pedicure. The experience for the pedicure was a little painful, but at the end, i thought my nails were good. However, now that ive taken my nails off i am horrified to say that i have gotten fungus or bacteria in my nails. They mustve not sanitized their equipment and on top of that. My toe is swollen. I've been wearing the paper sandals since I got regular polish , I've gotten regular polish done and it doesn't take more than three hours for the polish to dry and the polish is still wet idk if there is something wrong with there polish but really disappointed because it was a really nice color. One time, I waited over an hour. They did not have the decency to call me to let me know they were running late. This is very inconsiderate and disrespectful of my time. Because of that, I have stopped going to this salon. No matter how good you are, if you don't respect your customers, then they'll feel under-appreciated and will seek better service elsewhere. Jenny stays slaying the nail game!! I've been coming to this shop on and off (location inconvenience) since 2013 and have never left disappointed in my nails. Shape on point and designs always come out exactly as I wanted. Basically just show her a picture of a design you want and she can perfectly replicate it. Nails last as long as you want them to and I have never had a problem with them lifting either method she uses. My fav thing to do presently is clear dip with a color gel and tips for some added length. Seems to be the most "natural" looking nail and very thin. She is absolutely meticulous and takes her time. Prices are fair and really depends on how many designs you want. They have baseline prices so a basic gel mani is $25 but a clear dip gel with tips for length, gel, and fairy dust is $50 plus tip. Pedi by Tina every time. She takes her time and makes sure everything looks clean and perfect. The pedicure runs me $25-35 (plus tip) depending on the package of pedicure. read more

well.. this is an updated review, 5 stars for customer service, i wasnt happy, due to having a not so great experience gettin the gel manicure due to some cracking.. so i called the salon and my nails were fixed at my time of choice... without question! I absolutely looooove my nails this time around! The girl was really nice and concerned I was informed that the first girl that did my nails was her first week... so i felt really bad to have to complain.. but im so glad i got my nails fixed! =) now they also offer eyelash extensions and i must say i love them have gotten plenty compliments about them! I must warn you though if you are new to this.. exepect your eyes to get watery... i had no idea so i thought ok umm is this normal.. but apparently it is... my sister got hers done too and her eyes also got watery... overall i had a good experience... they take care of their costumers! oh and my 2 year old got her nails polished too, pink with black polka dots she was sooo happy she was showing off her nails to everyone! read more

This was my first time here and I'm never coming here ever again! Please do not go here for the sake of your safety. I had high hopes for this place since my girlfriend suggested to come here. Not only did the lady taking off my fake nails hurt me once but twice bad. She even made me bleed!! The first time she hurt me she tried to play it off and say that "oh wow your nails are so thin" What a bunch of BS!! Basically she used a white tip to take off my nails instead soaking them off and it cause my real to be dug into and ripped off. And the second time she made bleed she kept insisting to take off all my fake nail for me. She hurt me so bad I was literally crying in tears and she still kept insisting to take off my nails. I had to refuse service from her. I know the lady was just trying to be nice cause she probably felt really bad that she hurt me but I didn't want her to hurt me even more. Lesson learned if someone hurts you once don't let them continue doing your nails cause most likely they will hurt you again. I regret coming here and trying a new place to get my nails done. I went back to the nail shop that I regularly go to @La Belle and the owner fixed my nails for me cause she couldn't believe how much the lady made me bleed. read more

Decided to come here because I was in the area and because of the Yelp reviews. The staff here are nice and friendly. I ended up getting a manicure and the girl cleaned me up pretty good. But the quality of the manicure was just bad. I don't know if it was the nail polish or what it was. It left bubbles and bumps on pretty much all of my nails. I tried this place out tonight with my mom and sister. I had Linda and another nice lady working on my nails. I came in with the worst, thickest, terrible acrylics from another salon and didn't even think my nails could handle another full set. Linda worked so hard removing the terrible job I had done. Soaking in acetone and filing them off... the previous acrylic powder just wouldn't come off... it was a tough job but she managed to miraculously remove all the thick black powder residue. After removing the previous nails I didn't think my nails could handle acrylics again but they said they could do the full set still and said it would only take 30 minutes for a full set. I am so happy with the result! I look forward to my next visit. read more

I don't think I'll ever come back here again. It wasn't till after I left when I had noticed I was bleeding on the sides of my fingers where they filed. I guess that's when you know they REALLY shaped your nails. But really though, it makes me concerned that if she had clients prior or after me and didn't change her filer. That's so unsanitary. But the lady was also on her phone a lot while doing my nails which I found was rude and didn't apologize. I had gotten my nails done for Coachella and I told her I was working a booth there so I was expecting her to make my nails extra hard, but two of my nails one on each hand broke literally that weekend. After it broke I can see the acrylic was super thin that it was breakable. The workers were welcoming the moment my friend and I stepped in to get our nails done for her birthday which was on a Monday night (not so busy). The older lady with short hair and glasses was very nice to talk to and she carefully prepared my nails for painting. Because she was not experienced with designing, the manager took over and messed the design up (I wanted marbled nails but if she couldn't do what I wanted, she should have said so in the first place) and kept restarting on my nails until I asked her to just surprise me with a simple, modern design. Throughout the time that she took over working on my nails, she barely payed attention to me and talked to the other ladies by constantly turning her head. It was frustrating because her lines looked sloppy and I specificallwanted gold strips on my white nails, but she says it comes off too easily so painted it black (When was it her choice to pick? Because she was the manager?). The overall experience was okay, but the ladies here are not professional. Other workers were dying their hair in the salon and walking around showing off to the other ladies to take a look at their hair (I guess they have a lot of time on their hands). It is day 2 now, and my fingers are extremely dry with some dead skin peeling off. What the hell. They messed up so much that they keep using acetone over and over again on my nails that my fingers are now freakishly dry. I'm constantly using baby lotion to fix this. Probably will not come here again. Only went for my friend as it was her first time going to a nail salon. I can honestly do better and my mom is more professional with her work as she is also a licensed manicurist. This establishment needs to be more professional. read more

At first, I was going to get my nails painted one color but my friend suggested a french manicure (so glad I listened). We chose the shellac option (chip free and shiny for up to 2 weeks!). Service: We came on Mother's Day and it was packed! There was a person in every single chair and massage chair there. We waited for about 20 minutes until we all got seated. But even then, we still waited for another 20 minutes before they actually started on our nails. They did the usual, soaked our hands, cleaned them up a bit, pushed the cuticles back, and such. I felt that the lady who worked on my nails did a marvelous job. I was extraordinarily satisfied at the very end, and looking at my nails every couple of hours made and still makes me so happy! Cost: My total was $26 dollars but I have her $4 for tip so the comprehensive amount was $30. Not bad at all for two weeks with perfect shiny and chip free nails! To reply to the fungus comment I actually recognize the girl and I remember that day she was just mad because she didn't want to pay for the service that they provided. She got everything done and in the end they told her the price and she didn't want to pay because it was "too high" when she did not even ask for the price before she got the stuff done, how is that their fault. And if she really did get a fungus it was from moving salons because she said my other place charges $40 so she recently had gone somewhere else and then she went to a different one fungus doesn't appear in hours it takes time. All I can say about this place is I've been coming since I was in high school and everybody super Nice and they do a great job. I used to go to a place in Garden Grove that was closer to my house, but it was super ghetto...actually, most nail salons in Garden Grove are ghetto, so you're better off driving from Little Saigon to here! This nail salon is bigger than other nails salon by my house and has a lot of ladies working. Wendy (who is the owner I believe) is very nice and helpful. I called in for an appointment the first time but there was really no need to, so I'd definitely recommend stopping by on a whim if you need your nails done. They have a TON of gel colors to choose from and lots of cute nail tips! They have a lot of pretty spring colors as well, like mint green :) Their regular nail polish section is ehhh, but they are still some nice colors. The nail technicians have been nice and helpful both times I have been here. They also have stamp cards here, so remember to ask for one when you stop by! First time I went in here I got acrylics with gel nails and some rhinestones, which came out to about $33. My nails looked amazing for two weeks and I got so many compliments on them! I had only gotten acrylics one other time before at my old nails place and wasn't sure if I should remove them since they were tips, so I decided to ask when I came in today. The lady who did my nails was super helpful and told me to just get them filled and repainted, which is cheaper than getting them removed and put on again - it was only $12 to get my acrylics filled in again and repainted! Um yeah, last time I went to my old salon they didn't tell me that and I just got charged more! My nails smudged when I was going through my bag in my car and she was nice enough to fix them for me when I came back in! I believe she works at the 8th chair or station 8 or whatever and she's really nice! Last time I came I did not know that they also carry Essie/China Glaze/OPI nail polish, but I found out that they are located behind Wendy's desk. I was able to choose some cute Essie nail polishes! Wendy is amazing. She's very easy-going and friendly, and can do almost any design possible! Also the prices are VERY reasonable and the cheapest I can find around this area, and the quality is amazing. AND since my friend and I had work early, Wendy even came in BEFORE the nail salon even opened just to cater to my schedule. She does stiletto nails, squared nails, oval nails, you name it. Bring in a design from wherever, (Tumblr, Instagram, Pinterest), and she can pretty much guarantee a great copy of it, if not the exact same thing. She spends a great amount of time filing my acrylics just the way I like it and won't stop until I am completely happy with them. Not many salons put as much effort into shaping my nails, so this is greatly appreciated. The salon itself is greatly put together, clean, and spacious. Their nail polish selection, both regular and gel polishes, are of a great variety and Wendy also orders new gel polish colors regularly so it's never the same ones all the time like other salons. Additionally, every time she does my nails, by a week and a half, a nail would pop off or something of that sort. By the third week, majority would be almost gone. What a waste of money. They don't last. However, when I get the same service somewhere else, the nails last even if I accidentally slam my finger somewhere and it lasts the entire month. It always pops off after one week, somehow, someway. I'm over it. Here's the nasty part, whenever I get my nails done here, I would get this green yellowish/tint under my nail bed. It doesn't hurt or anything and goes away on its own, just doesn't look nice. Its probably a fungus. Only from this shop. First and last time here. I asked them multiple times for price which they told me 23$ for full acrylics no gel. Ok perfect, good deal right? My friend and I got the same thing different colors. They charged her $22, they charged me $28. When I kept asking why they repeatedly insist I hand the $28 and came up with excuses like your nails are gel(which they were not). I don't know if this has anything to do with it but my friend is Asian and I'm not. Needless to say, do not Come they will over charge you for no reason. My nails look pretty awful 3 days later. My cuticles look bad and my acrylics are already peeling off. I would like to say "you get what you paid for" but there are definitely much better and not To mention CLEANER places To get your nails done for the exact same price.
