    I went in for a state inspection on Monday, July 6th, and got there plenty early, at 7:30. A line started forming, and we waited patiently for the store to open, which was supposed to happen at 8 AM. At 8:45, with nobody yet arriving, I left, wasting my morning. The irony is that it claims to be under new management. I guess I am supposed to appreciate the old management. I drove by again on Wednesday, and at 8:20, still nobody showed up. I don't know if they are teleworking, but it seems pretty pathetic for a auto shop that wants to be taken seriously.

    My name is Johnnie. I visited this location on Tuesday april 2, 2019 for a diagnostic on my 2011 Chevrolet traverse, before interning I already knew of my existing problem, my main visit was with my engine in which the diagnostic would have shown but instead they give me hand typed information on brakes and rotors which has nothing to do with the engine, so I paid 110.00 dollars for information I already knew, the absolute worst shop I've ever visited and will never recommend anyone to shop.

    Featherstone went out of their way to treat every customer like a rockstar. I watched the owner answer every customer question like they're adults and with respect. She made sure all of the children that came through had smiles on their faces. She spent at least an hour going over the issues on my car. And she made sure the techs knew what they were doing and did the jobs well. I'm absolutely floored by the professionalism and courtesy at this place. The service is great and they genuinely just want to get you back on the road. This is my favorite automotive place anywhere.

The staff was incredibly attentive, honest, and welcoming from the start. Even though it's a smaller shop, they have a comfortable waiting area with free coffee, snacks, and water, which was a really nice touch. They took care of my oil change and filter without an appointment and finished in less than an hour and a half. What really stood out to me was their honesty and generosity -- they even told me my next oil change would be free, which I've never experienced before. I've been to dealerships and many other auto service places around the Washington area over the past 20 years, and I can truly say this level of service is rare. This was my first visit, but based on this experience, they've earned my five stars. I'll definitely be coming back and highly recommend them!

It was my first time at a Jiffy Lube period and was unaware of your service their service methods. After the service was performed, the manager refused to issue a hard copy receipt citing some green policy (seems more like a way to minimize overhead costs) which was not mentioned from the onset. The store manager insisted with providing only an electronic copy resulting in a needless back and forth that I must say was not up to an acceptable level of customer service. The manager apparently is under some misguided notion that he is not required to provide a hard copy invoice if requested. I tried to file a complaint with their corporate office but their intake system fails to upload the complaint for some odd reason. A little research for Jiffy Lube's benefit, please refer to the following state statute requiring the production of an invoice upon completion of work. Virginia Code § 59.1-207.5, part of the Automobile Repair Facilities Act, requires automobile repair facilities to provide customers with a detailed written invoice upon completion of repair work. This invoice must separately list the charges for parts and labor, identify which parts were supplied under warranty and which were not, and note any used, rebuilt, or reconditioned parts. The provision does not apply to work performed on a pre-advertised single price basis. Had I known it would've become an issue, I would not have provided an email address as my preference would have been a hard copy for my records. Needless to say, I would not consider Jiffy Lube for any future maintenance needs.
