Richard was amazing help. But this one girl with dark hair and piercings was so rude. We came in to pick up an order and to return another. I started the return on Amazon (mind you I don't return things usually so this is a new experience) it was from a third party and no QR code was issued. So I had to pay for shipping but instead of telling me that the girl was almost talking down to me saying "this is all you have ? You need a QR code" I showed her that is all the return process printed out and then she rolls her eyes at me! She throws the paper and says she can't take those. (Fast forward I went to ups and they were able to help me ship it out and informed me about it saying it happens from 3rd party all the time) So then I was a bit frustrated but I kept my composure because God is watching. So I asked if we could pick up my couch and she needed an id which it was storming out and I forgot it and I had a picture of front and back and she rolls her eyes and says no I need it physical. Ok at this point why the heck are you in customer service if you're so rude. You can inform someone nicely not roll your eyes. It gets better. So the next day we go to pick up the couch and I have my id and Richard helped us out and the girl was back there. Richard was very kind and welcoming 10/10 with him. When he was grabbing our boxes that girl wrote a note on it saying "ask for her license the customer was very rude" And I saw it on the couch. Are you kidding me ?! I was rude when you roll your eyes at a customer. Again. I could've been a bitch but GOD IS WATCHING. Rude people should NEVER work in customer service. I saw her in the back and told her "I was rude ? You rolled your eyes at me and yes I was frustrated but I didn't take it out on you because it wasn't on you. But when I turn my back and my boyfriend sees you rolling your eyes at me then who is in the wrong" I hope that girl gets written up or finds a job better suited for her because the fact she wrote a note the customer saw was so unprofessional and her attitude just sucked. I had a couple things printed at this Fedex location and it was a great experience. A few table top posters with lots of color and some postcards. Super easy to place the order online and pay ahead of time so pick up was fast. A good sized parking lot with designated Fedex parking spots. The space is clean, organized, and spread out. I went straight to the print counter and was helped right away. The staff was friendly and made sure all of the prints looked correct before I left. The prints were high quality. Thick paper, excellent color, and overall great quality. Very happy with the experience and products. This will continue to be a go-to print location for me. read more

I came to the store Sunday March 16, 2025 between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. I needed a document spiral bound with a card stock cover. I came to the counter and waited for the employee to finish playing with his cellphone. When it became clear after five minutes or so that he wasn't going to, I finally said, "Excuse me," whereupon he walked over to the counter and stared at me without uttering a word. When it became clear that he was not going to initiate the exchange (with something like "May I help you?"), I asked to see a card stock example. He brought over a sheet of something highly laminated with plastic film. When I asked for normal card stock without lamination, he brought over another sheet of the same thing, slightly less thick, and insisted that this was normal card stock, refused to feel it with his hand, and further insisted that this all the store carried. His manner was extremely put upon from the start. He also insisted upon further questioning that he was the only one who worked at the store, and that if I came again another day, I'd still get him. (I'd been to the store several times in the last few weeks, and this is the first time I'd seen him.) Clearly this is an employee who should not be attending customers and who should not be trusted to fill orders. read more

I had a last-minute (same day) print job returned quite quickly with fantastic service. It was a job with full bleed, full color and spiral bound. I only put it in around 7pm and I got it at 9:30. It was expensive, but honestly it looked GREAT and I was not expecting this high of quality from a FedEx location. Second experience not as good - I went in to scan some large-format, 16x20 photographic prints (one of a kind black and white photographs, scanned in color to catch details) and was shown by an employee how to use their large scanning machine. I should have guessed it wouldn't be sufficient because it went through so quickly (auto-feed), but I did it and paid over $70 to scan my six images. There was no option to preview other than the thumbnail size. When I got home and checked the files, they were HORRIBLE - so washed out, there were large areas that had come out completely white, and so very much of the detail was missing. I sent in an email about it and was told I could get them re-done or get a refund. I was in the process of moving across states and had already packed the prints, so I was hoping to get a refund. When I went in, the employee told me I would be unable to get a refund because I already had the files. I offered to give him back the USB, which I had bought there for $9, so I could get the other $60+ back, as the files were of absolutely ZERO use to me. He reluctantly agreed to the refund (without asking for my USB in exchange) but seemed really pissed about it. Come on... you really think I'm wasting my time and energy trying to cheat FedEx out of money? I was just hoping to have my one-of-a-kind prints scanned before I moved, in case they were damaged during storage. Too bad, I'll have to see if I can find somewhere else after I move. The quality would be ok for a document, a text document in black and white, but I would never scan any photograph there. read more

My FedEx mission was quite simple - return a package with a prepaid label for shipment. The store is divided into two parts as the name suggests - printing and shipping. I headed to the left for the shipping area and didn't even have to say what I needed. The friendly clerk noticed the label as I was walking up and inquired if I needed a receipt for my drop-off. I declined, but asked if she knew how to track down a package that was showing as delivered but never actually made it to my building. She kindly and quickly explained what steps I should take and was apologetic even though she had no part in the package going missing. My only real complaint is the absurd parking situation. I spent probably triple the time circling the lot trying to find a parking space than I did in the store taking care of my business. There were many others circling the lot as well and it was sheer luck to be in the right place at the right time to snag a spot. It's not FedEx's problem alone, but perhaps they could invest in a couple of 15-minute parking signs and snag some spots for those of us who just need to pop in and out. read more

I Had to Do One Star, Because Yelp Won't Let Me Do Zero Oh my God, I don't even know where to start. Let me try to sum up if I can... I walked in the store to ship a package and met the employee named Morgan. He made so many mistakes with my package that we had to start over a couple of times which apparently made him very uncomfortable and insecure. I was super patient with his aggressive and snappish attitude until he literally snatched the pen off my hand with full power while he was literally yelling at my face. I was accused of touching the pen 'for the fourth time' according to this person that it even shocked his coworkers. Then he totally went crazy and started yelling, mocking, making strange gestures that was really 'juvenile'. Again, he had the guts to even lie 'about the number of touches' to the pen. One of his coworkers called his attitude very unprofessional while one other apologized at me on behalf of him. Thankfully I have recorded everything as a voice memo which is already sent to Fedex. I am 40 years old, been to so many countries in my life, but I have never felt this awkward at a store where I was the customer. It was a strange experience, but it's still not over. So, same day, I called the store to talk to a manager, and I was told that the manager was off 'for a week or so'. Then, I asked for an assistant manager, I was told she was going to be off for a while, too. So, this store has no managers present, at all. When I said I'd like to come discuss this with a manager, the person on the phone said that it wasn't a good idea, because Morgan was still mad?! So, I have literally been told by a store clerk that I shouldn't walk in the store because an employee was having a mood swing that day. She had also told me earlier that they were on high alert because of the virus, that's why Morgan probably acted that way. Then I told her that I worked for the school district and responsible of distributing meals to families during a pandemia, but it didn't give me the right to mistreat somebody else. Not over, yet. I called the store back the next day. Same person put me on hold without even asking my name when I asked for the manager. She recognized my voice and kept me on hold for half an hour, finally they gave up and the assistant manager decided to talk to me. I told her that I would have liked to discuss this with her, but she said I could only walk in the store to ship packages, she would have only talked to me about the shipping! She totally refused to talk to me about that in a very strange way. Like I said, I have voice recordings from the store and also from these two phone calls. The store one is already turned in Fedex. I can go on and on and on about this store (except for Grant, he is cool, unfortunately he wasn't in that day). It is badly lacking professionalism, they have no idea about customer care, and it smells like puberty inside thanks to Morgan. I am sure Fedex is losing so much money because of all that, they lost my $28 at least anyways. And the future ones. I will make sure that we will switch to UPS at our MMSD office, too. Just stay away from this location, it is a battle of nerves to simply send a package. read more

Just had another really unpleasant experience trying to ship something here. We received a pair of shoes via FedEx, and they were the wrong size. We put them back in the same box with the same filler in order to return them. The top of the brand new box flexed about 1/8th inch. They rejected it. When I asked what the standard for flex was, they said: "It's just a judgement call on our part." This Fedex has good hours plus a convenient location near downtown and campus, just on West Washington at Regent. Next to Panera bread, got it now? Service is usually good. Sometimes there's a wait in line, and it can get frustrating to have to wave to get attention.. ok so I forget how to fax a bit, Im still hep and techno savvy as ever! The machines are barely self-explanatory. If you can use a fax, you're fine. There are fees, sometimes high, 1.50/B&W printed page. No, you can't double-side and count it as one sheet. But it does the job. Check out the clearance office supplies area for some ok deals on misc office supply junk. Otherwise a limited selection of the usual stationary, cards, calendars, packing supplies, impulse candy, etc. They accept credit card, diners card, and SD cards (for data). They take checks too, sometimes there's a discount if you're a student or AAA member, and remember to *ask them. Oh, they sell barcharts. FYI: The 24-hour one is all the way on the West side off of Mineral Point Rd. Don't make the mistake of thinking the E. Wash location is still 24hours, its not. This one has good hours, but if you need prints by morning, head to the west side. Happy flyering! Don't try to go during lunch break time, if you can avoid it. read more

It is conveniently located and depending on what you need you can be in and out. It seems like some of their computer software may be outdated and make it tough on employees to go backward in a transaction. I have often stood at the counter pressing through a transaction only to have to start over because of some circumstance or another (example: adding an e-mail address to track a package before the transaction was complete... we had to start over.) Another issue is that it seems employees are coached to not help customers at all with self-service equipment. Three employees were sitting around and I was clearly confused by a paper cutter I've never used. No employee got up to show me how to use it. I ended up slicing on the wrong line and had to have my documents reprinted. Frustrating. read more

I've used this place for work projects a number of times now, and I just feel like I have to publicly praise them. These people are SO FAST. I'm a big email/text person as opposed to phone calls, so I was overjoyed to find out how quickly this place responds to emails - like, "send-in-a-question-at-2 pm-get-an-answer-by-2:30" quick. And then! You place your order, and get a phone call within a couple hours to tell you it's ready for pickup. One time it was 20 minutes for me, no joke. I've never had any complaints about quality or pricing either, although I've only ever placed simple orders (getting color copies printed in large quantities). But for those simple orders, their promptness really cannot be beat. read more

This is the worst business in the world. I've had so many issues here with the technology. It's insane. Today's major snafu: There's no computer in the building that can access Google drive. Their browsers are too out of date to support it. Seriously?!?! Every time I come here, I steel myself for major frustration, and yet somehow the magnitude of it is always beyond my best preparations. Update 06282017: Against my better judgement and desires, I returned to this location today to print two documents from gmail attachments. Discovered that gmail is blocked system wide. After having to visit this fed ex kinkos twice in order to get my promotional business cards printed. I am debating whether or not it's worth it to go and pick them up at all. With each question asked about cost or design or just general help I got a snarky response from the two employees I dealt with. The one who helped me the first day arranged for me to pick up the cards the second day from an employee who was on vacation. When I arrived to pick them up I had to go through the whole process again and the price magically went up $25 dollars from what I was originally quoted. Jennifer was rude and far less then helpful as you can tell. Think twice before entering this building for design help. It was horrible. read more

My laptop stopped working, so I have to ship it to Toshiba for repairs. I paid $30 for shipping. It took 3 days to get the prepaid box. Called 1877FEDEX to schedule a pick up. The rep told me a driver would be here today to pick up my laptop. She even asked me what was the lastest they could come today. I said before closing and have the driver ring my bell. I'm not sitting my package outside. It's now a little after 8pm. I called them at noon. Come to find out she put in my pick-up for Monday 4/18! And the best they could offer was for me to trust them tp get here by tomorrow between noon and 2pm. No thanks. I spoke with Kathryn who is in the customer appreciation dept. I know they open up by 8am. But no residential pick-ups until after noon? Considering they are asking me to sit for 26 hours and it was their fault. You would think they would get someone out first thing in the morning. They are horrible. I used to love FedEx but their service has hone to hell. I wish I could have used another carrier. Equipment and software outdated, is out of order half the time, and sometimes just flat out doesn't work as intended. Some of the employees aren't knowledgeable and are clueless on how to help you, probably not trained very well, but most are genuinely nice and helpful. The management is very rude however and is the biggest issue. People lined up 5 deep trying to ship packages and you can see 2 managers in the office just on their computers while 1 employee struggles to help all customers at once. When they do come out it's to hurriedly move you along and talk over you. Also they seem to price things at their leisure as you may be quoted one price and come back later and they tell you it's 30 dollars more than what you were quoted. read more

Skyler B and Ryan saved the day for our event. Our hotel misplaced 8 posters for an event we were hosting that night. We sped over to this FedEx at 1:30 PM, told them our story and they were VERY speedy, knowledgeable, and helpful. They told us how long it would take to print each poster, confirmed they could print our non-standard size and mount it. They had free wifi and an email address so I could directly email them the PDFs we needed to print. Posters were ready at 3:30 (2.5 hours to print and mount 8 posters). I mean, amazing. We did come here on a Sunday when it seemed slow, so I wouldn't bank on that timing, but they definitely saved the day for us. read more

Here is a complaint I just sent to their mgmt: I came to FedEx today because I needed to print some paperwork for my health insurance and for my job as a freelance writer. Your store is conveniently located and staff is nice, which I like so I went there. Unfortunately your technology fell short of satisfying my basic needs, and I repeatedly felt frustrated. Your workstation card reader wouldn't acknowledge my card, so that was the first obstacle. Then I tried navigating to the websites that had the information I needed to print, only those websites weren't available. (Looking on my own laptop revealed that the site was not down;your computers just could not access it.) Also, one of your staffers had neglected to turn on the printers. I went next door for coffee and to fill out some of the aforementioned paperwork. Then I went back to FedEx, where the website still would not open (I finally saved it as a pdf on my laptop and emailed it to myself). Then I set about scanning the documents, finally, only Acrobat froze in the middle of this and I had to start all once one of your staff members force shut-down the whole computer. I started scanning all the way over and was happy once I finally had documents ready. It's just too bad that by then, a browser problem (I think?) wasn't allowing any attachments or to upload anything into Google Drive. I retrieved another of your staff, who suggested trying Internet Explorer, and that did work.. Throughout this all, the different browsers were giving me warnings right and left about ungrading them, becoming my default, etc. Giving that I was literally paying for the time I spent clicking those annoying message, I had no patience anymore. I came to your store to do work that should have taken half an hour, tops. It should not have required several trips and so much frustration. I'm not sure what the answer is, but I think greater vigilance over your computers would go far. I am not unhappy with the staff, who did the best they could, aside from forgetting to turn on the printers. Though I am happy with them, I do feel like it is fairly likely I will go elsewhere in the future. I also hope you able to provide me with a giftcard to help apologize for making this such a rotten day. read more

Other than the wait, the service I get is always good and the employees are in good spirit and efficient (even with a line of frustrated customers). Just awful. Went in to print twenty two page resumes. Was treated hostilely and like a child by the staff. I asked for 40 sheets of resume paper. She gave me 17 (not even half?) and took me to the multifunction copier, hastily gave me directions, speaking down to me while she did, scoffed and marched away. Printed my resumes, mostly on the wrong paper. And the toner on the printer was out, so the resumes looked awful. Because she was so rude, I didn't go back and ask her to put in new toner, nor did I ask for my money back. This is the worst business I have experienced in Madison-- which sucks because in other cities I have been able to count on FedEx for these and other services very reliably. read more

Asked them to open up a file on my portable hard drive since their outdated copier couldn't handle opening the file (and one of them was broken) and then was told by the clerk that I would have to wait 24 hours for an order since they were so backed up. This even after I told them I only needed for copies of this particular document. This place is a joke. read more

This place is terrible. Came here to scan some images and everything was coming out overexposed because there was no way to adjust the color. Asked a team member, they said "it scans how it scans" - a trip to the internet told me where to find the software on the computer that'll let me actually control the color. Wasted a whole bunch of money on the time spent using their slow, worthless software and after finally getting decent scans through the right software, I told the team member that it is possible. But apparently they aren't allowed to tell you how to properly use their equipment. And the guy was the least helpful brick wall I've ever talked to. Go to another fed ex - I've met much smarter, more helpful team members at other locations. read more

I was going to ship 3 large boxes ground to the east coast today, but the woman behind the counter was so incredibly rude--Amanda, a 30ish woman with dark brown hair--that I would up leaving. She pushed into my boxes, literally almost opening them with her push, she asked if I had alcohol in the boxes. I am nearly 60 years old and I was shipping boxes to my husband because we are moving. She said she was going to open my boxes and inspect the packages, because they were not properly packed. I said you are not opening my packages. At that point I started speaking loudly saying I had never been treated like this at a Fed Ex and the manager, Jennifer came out and defended this crazy woman Amanda. We drove to another Fed Ex and met a normal employee who shipped our boxes quickly and treated us respectfully. I will never be back to this Fedex she was clearly abusive and management enables this behavior, if someone from corporate observed her behavior today, she would have been fired on the spot. My motto is vote with your pocket book, they don't deserve a penny. read more
