This is the worst experience I've ever had at a shipping/packaging store, not just UPS. I came to return something from Amazon which I had never done before through UPS. I walked in and there was a kiosk showing a QR code and stated that if you had a QR code to scan it or enter it there. I tried multiple times and it didn't work so I went up to the front desk to ask for help and the guy at the front desk just laughed at me and said he had never seen anybody do that before. And he just kept going on and on saying how it was so funny and I was just standing there like waiting for him to move on. Clearly I looked offended because he briefly apologized and then continued to again say that it was really funny and how he's never seen that before. Well I had never done this before so I didn't know any better and he made me feel like such an idiot. Literally ruined my day. read more

Dont use this store for your Amazon returns. So one of the major differences between FedEx and UPS is that FedEx stores are corporate, UPS stores are franchises. (It's actually opposite for the trucks. UPS drivers are corporate employees, FedEx drivers are independent franchise owners, which is why FedEx usually ends up with less damaged packages) So prices, services, etc can vary wildly from UPS store to UPS store. For example, if I need something crated, I go to the Regent St store, as they specialize in that. We buy a ton of Amazon, and when you need to return something, you are supposed to bring the package and label to a UPS store (and Amazon is billed for the shipping charges). This store is the only location that I have ever used that charges you a service fee to return Amazon packages. Monona Drive doesnt. University Ave doesnt. Etc. I get it, the store probably makes 0 profits off Amazon returns, and it costs them tape and label holders and receipt paper and employee time. But, when I need something done that they WOULD profit from, I'm going to one of the stores that lets me return my Amazon packages for free. read more

I don't know his name, wish I did- but one of the employees here is just THE nicest. He had longer hair but I think somewhat recently cut it short. He always compliments everyone; He is so kind & efficient & gets you out of there fast. An employee, I think his name was billy or one of the other people, was on a power trip made my Amazon return unnecessarily challenging. I often use UPS to return Amazon items, but not this location in particular. Amazon requested I box the item and drop off to UPS store. The guy that waited on me insisted only the item was needed. I took the item out of the box as he grumbled. He wouldn't even touch the box and told me to take it to another business' dumpster to get rid of it. Asking for a receipt seemed to have set him over the edge - I always get one just in case there's ever an issue with Amazon saying I didn't receive the item. I hope he has a better day tomorrow and offers better customer service for someone else. Dude could have just recycled the box too. Don't bother with this location, save your time and energy and go support a better UPS store or FedEx. read more

I know it's strange to get excited about a UPS store but Margo the owner and Tammy absolutely rock! We brought in a bunch of items we had no idea how to wrap in order for them to make a safe landing and they were so patient and helpful. I can't help but pay attention to how businesses treat other customers as well and they were kind and helpful to everybody who walked through the door. To top it off, our car died while sitting in the parking lot and Tammy saved us call to AAA by jumping our car.! This is now our go-to shipping store. read more

I spent over $20 to send a fax! I went knowing the UPS store provided this service but not for $2 a page. Pretty sure my fax paid this months land line bill in my one transaction. Shame on your high costs UPS! Disgusted & will never go back! read more
