Quick process to return a TicTok purchase , unfortunately the shipping center is not close to my hous

I have mixed feelings about my experience at this FedEx location. I arrived in Sarasota on Thursday for my wedding, which was on Sunday, and had placed a couple of print orders in advance to pick up upon arrival. Bridal Shower Recipe Cards (25 count): Earlier in the week, I ordered these online for in-store pickup. When I arrived and reviewed the prints, I noticed the color was off--the light ivory background didn't show up properly. A young blonde woman at the counter was very helpful and kindly reprinted them on ivory paper, which looked much better. I really appreciated her attentiveness and willingness to fix the issue. Bridal Shower Menus (25 count): I had also ordered a stack of menus via Canva to be printed at FedEx. It appears someone at a FedEx location in Chicago may have printed them on the wrong paper, as I had placed a similar order the week before for my rehearsal dinner and had no issues. The Sarasota team offered to reprint them on ivory paper if I adjusted the size slightly, which I did. I emailed the new version on Friday night, and they had it ready by Saturday morning. My biggest concern was the lack of communication and continuity between staff members. I had to go into the store in person just to confirm when my order would be printed, as I wasn't getting updates. When a family member went to pick up the menus on my behalf, they were unexpectedly asked to pay--despite the fact that I had already spoken to a staff member (a man, specifically) who had agreed to reprint them at no charge due to the earlier error. It became clear that there were no internal notes or communication from day to day. My uncle ended up handing back the original prints, and was told by an employee that they "didn't have time to argue today," which felt unprofessional and dismissive. I had a printing emergency. Ok, no one has a printing "emergency',but I had an important need since I can't seem to get my hime printers to pick up my wireless nwtwork. My need took me to FedEx , not knowing they used to be Kinkos. When I got inside the store I looked around trying to figure out what to do. Like an Angel from heaven Phae asked me if I needed hep; must of looked pathetic. I said I did. I explained my plight. Without hesitation Phae told me to email my file to her. Ahe got them email, opened the file and rattled off my copies. As she made the copies we chatted. Ahe humored me by talking to me, laughing and being a decent person. Since I've moved to Sarasota decent people, good sevice and freindliness have been lost. It was great to go somewhere, get treated with respect, have someone do what they said they would all while ve just a good person. Itf you need FedEx services visit this location. Fast and efficient for printing and binding a recent presentation. My home printer was down for the count so I ran over here and was in and out in 20 minutes. Had to ship a new piece of jewelry for resizing cross country . Added their $1,000.00 insurance limit - would be nice if a higher amount were offered - and the item got to the destination a day or so quicker than expected . The woman who helped me was - ta da !- helpful ! How nice is that . She made the whole transaction quick and easy and was courteous and kind . It would be nice if that was more common these days . well, customer service was so bad, that I'm taking the time to write this review. this is a very good and convenient location, but the employees and management make it almost undesirable to use this location. Today was the last drop that filled my cup. The only person at the counter was Lonzel, everybody else were talking and pretending to do something. This kid has no clue of what customer service really means. I mean, I get it, not everybody is a people's person, but then management needs to identify those that are better off working in the back. This place should be closed down. I have never experienced such rude "customer service" in my life. They spend their time doing printing jobs while customers are lined up. A man forgot to get his tracking number and the "associate" sarcastically said "you forgot this! Isn't that what you came here for?" I am looking for another place. This is the prime spot to send out packages. Great location and they are usually pretty quick. Lindsey helped me today, and she was FANTASTIC! We send packages for my business all the time and have never had an issue. read more

They dnt want to help you print anything. Would rather just hang out. 5 employees and I'm helping another customer that was lost on the copier then i was not provided help after I walked up to the front desk to ask for help. Left without the 102 pages I wanted to print. Will never use that location for my printing. Ugh read more

Alan was extremely rude when I tried to drop off a package today. I am new with a company and your think he would have compassion however he only gave me two changes to tell him my account information before it was on to the next customer even though there was no one else in the line behind us. I went in to use the workstation and print one document. It was a busy day and all of the computers were in use except one, where a girl was sitting there on her own laptop doing homework. Not using the FedEx computer or any FedEx services. Two complaints to two different employees and the girl was still taking up space denying paying customer access to the station. The employees were rude to me and the manager wouldn't even come out from the back room to address the situation. I put a call into corporate and they were appalled. The district manager is now aware of the situation and hopefully this will be a step in the right direction to getting their serious lack of customer service fixed. read more

All I wanted to do was scan five pages and email them. Sounds simple, right? Well, not at this location. Even though all of their high-speed copiers have scanning capabilities, none of them had that feature enabled. Instead I had to use one of their slow Windows PCs with a flatbed scanner, via Adobe Acrobat. The first machine simply would not accept a credit card; the reader was bad. On the second machine, the Acrobat kept crashing. Finally, after about 15 minutes (at 82 cents a minute), I was able to complete my five docs. Saved them to a jump drive, logged off, then popped the drive into my own laptop to email the PDF. Wrong. Apparently the Fedex software erases all the files when you log off, even if they're on your own external drive. So I did it again. Again, the software crashed three times. Finally got it to save. Figured I'd just email the docs from that machine (at 82 cents a minute) via Gmail. Wrong. Their browsers are crippled, so you can't upload a file from the local drive. So I popped the jump drive out to load it onto my own machine (before I logged out) to email it from there. Wrong. The file isn't "closed" until you shut down Acrobat. So... I went back to the Kinko's machine to re-save it. Wrong. Once the media was ejected, the software wouldn't do anything wit it. So I had to re-scan it again. At 82 cents a minute. Eventually I got it to work. It cost me more than it would have to drive across the road to the Best Buy and buy a scanner. And of course the lines at the desk were three deep, so getting any help from behind the counter was out of the question. I remember when Kinko's was all about customer service. Main problem with this location: Management!! The fact that I have to repackage every time I set foot in Sarasota's ONLY FEDEX/Kinkos on 41 near the hospital, kills the shipping deal and my time and the environment. This is why I call this place The Temple of Doom. I feel like they wont stop forcing people to use fedex packaging. They must get commission on up-selling the shipping service or because they want to be snobby and picky about how the appearance of every package. Maybe because it does not say FEDEX all over it???? This is so frustrating and wastes the customer's time as well. By the time you are done with this agonizing process you dont want stand around and argue "IT WAS WINE BOX designed to hold the weight of wine bottles so im sure my box can hold up just as well as your expensive and unnecessary FEDEX labeled packaging supplies!!!""" SOLUTION: Until this particular manager who I am almost convinced played the bad guy on Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.. Until he is gone, might as well use USPS because by the time you are done here you were DOOMED to pay the difference in price anyway. Why do I Bother?!? I tryyyyy to save money and the earth by using previously used boxes to ship items. I am smart about shipping. I have a scale at home and weigh and measure a package to compare rates FIRST because the difference in cost between services can sometimes be $6-$18 or more depending on size and shipping location. HOWEVER the MANAGER at THIS location ruins everything as soon as he sees me just because the boxes I use are not pretty and new and say FEDEX in big purple letters on the side. So before I even get close now I ask is this okay before he makes me go through the line to tell me "No this box will never make it, we have to re-package it." Meaning every package is going to be put inside a FEDEX box and shipping cost immediately goes up $10! Why I thought I had no choice: I use different shipping services every week selling things online. Two lowest priced shipping services are USPS and FEDEX. This happens to be the only official Fedex shipping location in the area and for larger packages!!! Whyy!!? USPS sometimes charges more. Surprisingly. The other third party package and ship mailbox places especially UPS are all much more expensive because they mark up shipping price due to overhead cost of running a third party mailing center. Conclusion: Shipping bulky items these days, you just can't win. Mostly because of that one guy who is after your sacred stones in this FEDEX TEMPLE OF DOOM!! read more

This place should have zero stars. I have just had, by far, the worst customer service experience of my life. Trying to ship fragile items to the West coast. 1 customer besides me in the store. Workers scattered but not one person asks if I need help or even greets me. Finally a young man comes over, listens to my request and tries to get a quote for the shipment. But no, the trucks have to get their printout. It is 6:30, they close their trucks at 6 and I have to wait for this computer terminal to print this out. They have TWO terminals. 10 more minutes of waiting, not one other customer in the place. My guy leaves, talks to his co-worker, points at me and my fragile items and says there you go. He left ...... it was break time. Not a single word to me. The new guy is off doing other things. Finally, after another 5 minutes he approaches me and is able to give me a quote. By the way, I had come in last night to get the quote initially, before contacting my client. And the girl was nice and helpful, even offered to carry my items back to the car for me (with other customers in the store!) I get a quote that is $5 higher and they add $26 for packing. Last night I was told they could waive the packing fee. I was told tonight, "oh that's wrong, she's new" and the manager also refused to waive it. I explained that I cannot go back to my client and ask for ANOTHER $27. He shrugged his shoulders and had no response. I said," well are there coupons or discounts with my account?" Him:, you have an account??? Me: YES Him: Well, what's your account number? Me: I said I don't have it with me, can you look it up with my name or phone number? Him: No, we can't do that. Are you on FedEx.com? you can sign in and get it. So , I go on my phone and try to sign in, I have the wrong id and password. I request them to send it. The website says they'll send it right away ......... waiting, waiting, waiting and nothing. The employee has disappeared, again. I find him on the opposite side of the store, doing nothing, and say, can you find my account number from my last shipment? Him: Nope. My original box is behind the counter. I said, can I just have my box back? This has been a disaster from the very beginning. He says "I apologize" and walks away Manager hears EVERYTHING and does not say a word I wrap all my stuff up, carry the box to the other counter and ask for the manager who has since disappeared. (STILL no other customers) I tell him that although I was given wrong information last night, at least she offered to carry this box to my car and help me wrap it. Manager: Oh, do you want me to carry that for you? I said no, too late. I will NEVER set foot in this place AGAIN 50 minutes of wasted time, and nothing to show for it. read more

I left Staples Self Serve printing in total frustration and headed over to Kinko's. Man, was it super easy, super fast, high-tech like it should be in almost 2017, and the employees were very helpful and pleasant. Goodbye Staples and Hello Kinko's! Couldn't be happier. read more

Not only am I angry at this specific fedex, but also online its very hard for my phone and the website to cooperate. I wanted to find a fedex center and so i copied the address into my gos and it brought me to a postnet location, so i go in and they cant scan my phone code to retrieve a shipping label a company gave me, so i was angered to have driven myself 30 minutes away to not be able to do this. So i make my way up to sarasota fedex today to send my package, there computers were down and they couldnt even send my package, i asked when they would have them up and running and they said come back in a few hours, i come back 5 hours later and there computers are still not working, the people were very rude and pretty much didnt care much for customer service because they didnt offer suggestions or a sincere apology. I am very angered at the horrible website navigation and at this fedex for not even being able to do anything besides sit there because they cant ship,print or fax. so now i have to wait until tomorow and inconvience myself at work on my 20 minute lunch breaj to ship a package. if i had an option i would never use fedex again, but unfortunately the company i am returning my item to uses them. read more
