Reading everyone feedbacks I can say I can relate. My delivery is required a signature so I took today off from work. My package was schedule for delivery today 9/22 Friday and as soon as I updated the delivery instructions with a gate code for my apartment just in case if the driver is new to my complex. I didn't want any missed delivery. The driver updated the delivery status to delivery delay for 9/25 Monday are you f***ing kidding me?!!! You're lazy!!! I literally took off from work to be home and sign for my package!!! Note from the driver: Per shipper instructions, the package will not be delivered until the scheduled delivery date. This shitty FedEx never delivers to my door. Always lies of attempted delivery (when I was there) and taking picture of side gate as if the front office doesn't exist. Occurred many times and made many complaints that seem to fix nothing. This time was one too many. I needed my phone replacement and had important things due to do after. The driver ruined an entire day, shot my plans, made me waste gas and time to drive down, all because he was too lazy to deliver the package and thought a lie that he couldn't enter, would suffice. I filed another complaint with the HQ and notified the onsite manager (do not believe him since it's repeat). Not to mention how late he was 4 hours and doing nothing only to have him not show up. I made an account now with FedEx that has the instructions to front office and gate code, so there is zero excuse. I wish I could get money for time and money wasted on gas doing their job. Giving 1 star (really 0) is all I can do. I wish companies would stop using this office to deliver me packages. read more

THIS LOCATION HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Other than the manager who was pleasant/helpful, this was a uniquely terrible experience. There was an employee, a lady named Mary or Sue who was horrible. I'm currently pregnant, she took one look at my abdomen and told me to me "calm myself"?! Then she gave me an incorrect name. The driver here failed to deliver my package THREE TIMES despite being given my phone number. I came in the last day after work to pick up the package that required showing ID. The service was terrible. First, the person in Seattle who was entering my information made significant errors with my name, entering "KG" instead of my actual last name, with no explanation. This happened at the office where my mail was initially processed. Second, the delivery person, who was supposed to bring my mail to my address on 11/08, didn't contact me, knock on my door, or ring the bell to deliver it. I waited the entire day, only to have no contact whatsoever. Today on 11/09, I went to the FedEx office to inquire about the situation, and they informed me I could pick up the mail from 2451 Palm Dr, Signal Hill, 90735. When I arrived at the pickup location, the staff was extremely rude and uncooperative. Although I presented my ID, which matched the name on the mail, they insisted I needed to prove I live at the address it was sent to. I explained that I had recently moved there and didn't have proof of residence yet. I tried to remain calm, but the situation was incredibly frustrating. The manager, who should have been understanding and flexible, also insisted on following the policy rigidly, without considering the circumstances. Policies should be adaptable to situations like this, but instead, they acted like robots, reciting the rules without empathy. read more

Same experience as others here, the drivers will literally do anything to not deliver my package. I have been waiting over two weeks for my replacement debit card because fedex lost the original replacement, and now they have made 3 "attempts" without actually trying to get into the building. My building has clear instructions to call the recipient of the package, and they ignored those twice. Then I put up a giant sign BEGGING the driver to call me, and on the third and "final attempt" they still did not call me. I have been home the entire time. My husband was going to overnight it to me as I have severe sleep apnea and Fed Ex tried to charge him $120 for a 0.70 lb package. They've got to be kidding!!!!! This is not something I can just run to the store and get. This is part of a life saving device and while leaving it at home was my fault, Fed Ex should not price gouge like that. FedEx could never get it together. I accidentally type my address wrong when ordering my package-- ok my fault right? So they held it at their facility in Signal Hill. I requested to pick it up at one of their pick up locations and then called FedEx customer service to find out how I would know when my package would be ready for pick up. They told me I would receive a notification or my tracking number would be updated. Never received a notification, tracking number was never updated until 3 days later where they decided they were just going to send it back to the shipper instead. Lol???? Just came here to return a product I ordered online from Walmart and once I came in, the casher said they don't print out labels for Walmart returns and that I have to drive to a different fedex. I left the store disappointed, however once I was about to drive off, she rushed outside to call me back in because turns out they do print labels for Walmart. They were able to ship my product back to Walmart and I was satisfied by her customer service because she didn't have to rush outside to call me back in and she saved me from using my gas to drive to the other fedex. read more

I AM BEYOND IRRITATED! Let's start with the fact that the first time they tried to deliver my very expensive package they took it to the wrong place and had the wrong person sign for it. That brings us to the second time, where I'm literally sitting next to my front door and they claim that I wasn't there. So then I'm told To go pick it up MY package and get told I have to prove I live there which is great considering I just moved to this new place and haven't had that changed on my ID. This place is deserving of a low score. Had a scheduled pickup for today using the online service. Found out when no one showed up that their online service cancelled my pickup. I called their number and got transferred a few times, tried to schedule the pickup to only find out I missed their last scheduled pickup time by 10 minutes no thanks to all the hoops to jump on the phone. Well, I high tailed it to their shipping location. Looked up at those signs while 2 co workers were hanging out with each other and waited in front of them. The lady told me to go wait in line with everyone else under the "pick up" line and not where I was currently standing for shipping out. What's the point of designated sections if your business is not going use them? I'd rather go with USPS or maybe UPS if that was an option for me at where u work because usually the people are nicer and an organized line means something. May 29 at 2:07pm. FEDEX Courier couldn't get inside the business property and brought the item to Signal Hill FEDEX Location. I received a text that my package wasn't delivered but I could get it at the Palm Drive Signal Hill location same day after 6pm. I went there at 6:00 pm but my Drivers License doesn't match the business address and that I needed a business card so he told me to go back. I would have to drive total of 30 miles again just to get the package and get a business card. I asked him nicely and mentioned I have enough sufficient proof that the package is mine. Instead he was very condescending. The one on the reception is an old white guy. Old white guy said I should have bought a business card in a condescending manner without understanding the context. This is for fedex tracking: 393270252824 I completely get that address must match always to ensure fraud doesn't happen. But what do you do for those who receive packages on business locations that get sent to a Fedex Shipping Center? It's unprofessional for FOUR THINGS: 1.) I registered the business address which required a confirmation code to be received via physical mail in order to get notifications and make delivery changes. I did all of the registration thus I am able to receive notification and change delivery options online via the business address. This is one proof that I am the recipient. The only reason why I had to register online because the previous courier wasn't able to deliver properly a previous package that was sent back to recipient. (Fedex tracking: 047357116433033) 2.) The text I received sends you to a link that says "You can pick up at the 2451 N Palm Drive, Signal Hill location after 6pm". But it didn't say or mention anything about bringing a business card. If it did indicate that I need a business card to prove my affiliation to the business location, I would happily have gone back and forth. It's obviously a fault in the system for it didn't say anything. 3.) How often would you find anyone with a Drivers License with a business address? 4.) There was NO DOOR TAG left at all. If there was we wouldn't have had any issues. I asked for the supervisor, instead he asked again for the tracking and told me it's an exception. OF COURSE IT'S AN EXCEPTION. IT HAS TO BE. He's acting like as if he's doing me a favor but not really. It's clearly a fault in their system and his attitude only made it worse. He's focus on trying to win an argument. He's focus on being linear instead of understanding why it's ridiculous to send me driving back and forth for a total of 30 miles. In the end he looked at the cellphone number on the package and asked me if it's my number. I told him to call me and he did see my phone ringing and it's me. Again: I completely get that address must match always to ensure fraud doesn't happen. But what do you do for those who receive packages on business locations? FEDEX Supervisor/Manager if you're reading this, I'm going to call and ensure that old white guy know that he needs to stop being SQUARE. read more

Came here with packages to be shipped out but the employees helping process my shipments were very upset about the fact that I didn't have my items pre-packaged and I had to ask them to make all my labels manually. They gave me so much excuses as to why they can't ship all my packages. From giving me a limit to only 15 express savers and 10 ground shipments to "we can only ship 10 because our system cannot handle more than that" - and then I asked for multiple transactions and they said that due to COVID, they have a policy of just 10 packages to be processed. But I've been to this same location before and I was actually able to ship out multiple packages with no pushback, and both the employees at the time actually tag-teamed and used both counters to get me out of there faster. They even told me I should have my labels printed when I arrive- and even suggested I should go to Office Depot if I don't have a printer. Was very confused with this statement because isn't FedEx's business model designed to help people do all of these things in-house? I get it, people asking to ship out multiple packages must be the bane of their existence, but they have 0 training in customer service and they will hate you and be passive aggressive towards you if you ask them to do their jobs. Had I known they have "limitations" and "policies" like these, I would've never gone here in the first place. Don't come here if you're looking to spend hundreds of dollars to ship out multiple items. The UPS up on Cherry and Willow is worth your business. read more

Among Amazon and UPS, FedEx is the only delivery service that makes no attempt to alert the customer they are delivering a package. You would think with the proliferation of porch pirates, FedEx would try to ring the doorbell or knock when delivering packages. We are home most of the time and with a security screen, we leave the door open, but still FedEx employees merely drop off the packages as quickly as possible and leave! If we did not have RING, we would not know they had delivered a package which would leave us susceptible to porch pirates. Why can't your employees be instructed to be more proactive about notifying customers they have a package at their door? Aren't you concerned that your customers have such a low opinion about your delivery services? read more

Zero stars! The worst fedex location ever. Every time I am to have a package being delivered from them I never get it. EVERY TIME they say no one is home/business closed. From the reviews posted I'm not alone. In the past they don't bother calling be from the gate to buzz them in. Today they finally called from the gate, I buzzed them in, yet they never came up and I received the same automated text that my package is delayed due to no one home/business closed 30 minutes later. Wtf?! I have cameras in front of my house and gates. Shame on Fedex for allowing this to continue and keeping lazy drivers on staff. Your only job as a driver is to deliver packages. Most deliveries to my house come from this location. Many, many, many times I have witnessed the drivers approach the house, stop about 15 feet from the door and thrown our packages at the door like an underhand softball toss. They haven't even come all the way up the walkway. It doesn't matter if the package is an envelope or box, plastic package or cardboard. I've seen 15 lbs boxes marked fragile semi tossed onto the porch. And lately some drivers reach the gate of my gated community and leave without even looking at the entry control pad. The addresses are on the control pad with numbers that contact us to open the gate. They make no effort-none. I've seen it happen. Unfortunately there isn't a good way to leave feedback or to contact FedEx about problem drivers. As one of the most expensive delivery companies you would expect better service. Maybe it's just delivery outlets in this area that are so bad, but this one definitely has problems. If I could give negative points I would. read more

I've been going back and forth with them since 1010am the time this driver made the mistake with my package. I was home all day no driver came to the door. It is now 305pm I have heard nothing. I love this little place. I've been a couple time for the holidays, to pick up items, but I actually had to use their service. In my humanitarian efforts, had way too many donated clothes to bring in my suitcase to Nepal, so I decided to ship them. I had some questions, especially since my last donated items of books from the post office didn't go so well. The lady at the front counter was very helpful and I actually managed to create the shipment on line once she told me what forms I needed. The only thing is when brought the box, I needed a little help. They didn't assist with picking up, probably a liability issue, if they drop it, but a nice gentleman helped me. This site used to be very friendly and speedy. Prior to my recent visits anytime i had a FedEx Problem the employees at this site have made my problem their problem and are very good about getting it resolved but recently ive found that they are not as friendly and definitely not as speedy. I often come in with packages with pre paid postage and i try to make some sort of indication that i just need to hand it to them and not to have it weighed or even make a payment - nope they would rather that the line pile up. additionally several times ive come when fedex employees are being assisted -- whats up with that??? anyway if you can avoid this site FedEx isnt horrible but here they dont understand customer service is what is brings me to them and not USPS -- if i wanted rude id go visit them. read more

How are Up a shipping company and have no way to print out a label for a customer? Never again!

This is the worst fedex location. They couldn't deliver my package because they were missing my apartment number... I called to give the apartment number and they said they will re-deliver the package. Nothing came. I called to ask for an update, they said they will resend it in a few days. So I let them know that I will come pick it up at a this fedex location. I called ahead and let the agent know that I do not live in this area, I am just here for work so I won't be able to provide any ID's with the delivery address on it. They said that is no problem as long as I have the an ID with my name on that matches the package and a renters agreement with my name and address on it, I will be fine. On Friday 9/18, I arrived at the location, I handed the agent the document and my ID. She said that she can't accept that and can't release my package because the delivery address is supposed to be on the ID. I let her know I called ahead and was told in my situation, that was acceptable. She said there was nothing she could do. She said she will set the package up for delivery on Monday 9/21, I told her that wasn't acceptable and that I was flying out to NY for work on 9/20 and need my package now. Since she wasn't budging, I agreed to have it delivered on Monday 9/21. When in NY, on 9/21, I got a text from Fedex saying that my package is being held at this location and that I need to pick it up with it 5 days or it will be sent back to the shipper. I called the 800 number and let them know that it was supposed to be delivered on Monday 9/21, They said they updated my info and sent this location a request to deliver my package ASAP. On 9/22, I called for an update and was told that the shipment was still not set up for delivery but the 800 number made another request to the station to deliver my package ASAP. On 9/23, still nothing, I called again for an updated and the station has still not responded to the requests and still have not set my package up for delivery. On 9/24, I called again and they keep saying that the station is not responding to requests they are sending them, and that they are sending a request to another nearby station to get ahold of this station and tell them to set my package up for delivery. If my package is not delivered by tomorrow, it will be sent back to the shipper. This shipment is really important for my work. Whoever manages this location is clearly not doing their job. How embarrassing is it that the help desk has to reach out to a another nearby location to get ahold of this station because they are not responding to requests... so unprofessional. read more

The line was long last at night on a weekday. I already had prepaid and stamped packages. When I got up to the counter he took them and I walked away. Took 10seconds yet I wanted almost 20 minutes to get to the countertop. The guy at the counter should've just asked me to leave it at the counter or asked one of the people walking around to take care of me since I was quick. Every time I come here it's like this. Just came back from this location and even though it was super busy in the evening the gentleman who help me was so nice to me. It was my first time mailing a package and he was really sweet. This location is a joke. I've been to a lot of ship centers and this is by far the worse. They make you weight outside if there is one person in there. All I wanted to do was to drop off a very important document that was next day express and she said put it in the box outside. This document was already labeled and packaged and I don't want to put it in the box outside because I needy it to arrive the next day. The Kimberly location in Fullerton has a great friendly staff.
