This is my favorite Fed ex, because they know me and take special care to check in with me by asking how my family is doing. Remembering personal information about a customer is key for loyalty. Once I even had a dead battery in my car and the manager let me use her jumper cables, that is going beyond and above! I love Vicki, Lois and Teresa the most. They are so patient and kind even when Custer's get crabby and impatient during the holidays. It is so close to my office and they even gave a huge conveyor belt for big boxes. They always have all of the shipping supplies that I need and are eager to help in any way. It should be called Fedyes! read more

They straight up refuse to deliver 90% of my packages- neither UPS or USPS ever has an issue delivering to my building, but someone working at this fedex location actually told me their drivers basically just don't bother trying to get in. Then you have a 1 hour window to pick up your package AT the location (they don't bring it back until 6 and they close at 7) and there is always a SUPER long line out the door and usually only one person working. It's absolutely ridiculous. Avoid if at all possible. I always request shippers use UPS but it isn't always up to me obviously. If you aren't going to bother to attempt to actually make deliveries, at least don't make it miserable to have to pick them up. Madness. read more

I really hate how they are. Unfortunately for the stuff i purchase. Fedex always has to deliver it. I hate it. I live in a gated community. But for delivery service they let drivers in. They dont come inside and actually drop off the package. I work nights and I'm available all day. I expect packages to come and they would rather leave a door tag slip outside and say they missed me. What is that about?? A previous delivery a driver had the audacity to leave the package outside the gate and they stole the items i purchased and left the box outside.... horrible service. Run as far as you can from this location. I waited 40 minutes to pick up a package. One employee was working. Then took him an additional 10 minutes to find my package. There was a point where I wanted to tell him to just send the package back to the sender, it would be less hassle. But he had my ID in the back, so I was stuck there. I've had three items ordered over the last month, all of which have been shipped through FedEx. What I don't understand is the window they require you to be home in order to sign for the package? 8:00am - 8:00pm is the requirement Monday - Friday. except I have work Monday - Friday and the driver arrived at 10:28am while I was at work. Now you've rescheduled the delivery to Monday with the same time frame. When I expressed my frustration and the possibility that the driver can arrive while I'm at work again, I was told that I can go pick it up from the location. What is sole purpose of your company if I have to come and pick it up? read more

Update: It's 2022 and this is still more of an issue than ever. I literally ended up writing a sign that said "PLEASE KNOCK, I AM HOME", sat in the living room ALL DAY, and was STILL greeted with multiple purple slips. Got to the point that they returned my $200 package to the shipper while I desperately tried to contact them to pick it up myself. Just dropped by there today, wasting time and gas for the person at the front to tell me that they don't accept Fed Ex Ground packages on the weekend, and I will have to drop it off on Monday. Sorry... but really? Nowhere on the label does it say that I have to drop off my package Monday-Fridays. She didn't even let me leave the package there. This makes absolutely no sense. It doesn't matter to me if the trucks don't come on the weekend, I just wanted to drop my package off, and you guys have an enormous warehouse to store items until the fed ex trucks arrive. All I wanted was a receipt and to drop off my package. This place is such an absolute headache and this policy to not accept Fed Ex Ground packages on the weekend makes zero sense. They claim to have been at my door at 0951 and seriously? I've been waiting all morning. After calling the customer service department (twice) I received a call from a supervisor and stated that he was going to do everything that he could to contact the driver for reattempt the delivery. Upset as I still am, I corrected him and said that it wouldn't be a reattempt it would be more like initial delivery attempt. He calls at 1:44p and informs me that the driver would deliver at 3p. I watched driver walk to front gate look at it locked and walk away without attempting delivery of package. I walked to front gate and tag was left saying missed packaged! I call and place a hold on package but by time got down pickup location was closed.i called 15 minutes ago and rep on phone said it was at sherman way location on hold and i can pick it up immediately. Not the employees fault I blame the company and the manager who apparently doesn't know how to runrhis place a bit more efficiently. First off, it's Christmas time so it's never a fun time to be at FedEx. If you are expecting crazy full service (packaging, taping & shipping) here don't! This is a basic Express location which I learned very quickly works best for people who have a quick package already boxed, addressed and just literally dropping off. The reason for my 5 stars are because of the great service my family & I received from Amy. We came in with 6 Christmas gifts going to 6 different places throughout the United States. Literally just the 6 gifts each gift wrapped, thinking we would hand them to Amy, give her the addresses & she would magically box & ship them. Needless to say that did not happen but instead of brushing us off she took the time to help us with each package and even got snacks for our uninterested 4 year old daughter. Amy went above and beyond today. Thank you. read more

My biggest complaint about this location is that there could be 3 or 4 employees working at any given time and they still make people wait. I've been there waiting in line several times and only 1 employee is taking care of customers and very slowly I may add. I hate FedEx. They don't even deserve one star. They suck. I'm not talking about this specific branch but the one that was shipping to me was also located in Sun Valley on San Fernando Rd or something. Well, I was expecting to receive a package on Monday. So, I stayed home to wait for it to arrive. I check the time and it's 2:30, wondering why it hadn't arrived yet, I went out to check. Apparently, they dropped by but only left a door tag, they didn't even call me to see if I was in. I signed the bottom of the door tag where it says that a signature is required to leave the package and put it back up on the door where they left it. The next day, Tuesday, when I get home from work, I see another door tag and with it checked the 2nd attempt. This time I called in and told the cs guy to specifically tell the terminal to drop off the package at the door. Now it's Wednesday, I get the final attempt door tag. I called in again and told them my situation. They said they were willing to make a fourth attempt and I asked whether I could change the address to where it can be delivered. They said no. Well, what use would it be to have it delivered to the same place and they don't drop it off?? So after some deliberation (it is now today), I decided I'll pick up the package so I called in to get the address. I call at about noon. The lady gave me the address. I was planning on going a little bit later to pick it up like at 1:30pm. Then, I get a call from the Sun Valley FedEx location and they asked if I was going to pick up the package. I told them I would pick it up soon. Then the lady told me that pick-up hours are from 8:00 ~ 10:00am and 4:00 ~ 6:00pm...Well, I have no time to pick up the package today. I won't be able to pick it up until TUESDAY because FedEx has CRAP pick-up hours. I am never again having anything shipped by FedEx. If I order anything, I am specifically going to ask for UPS. FedEx is terrible. Save yourself the pain, go with UPS or USPS. read more

This review is for whoever the delivery driver is in Burbank---- ZERO STARS ZERO STARS I have never had a problem before last week. I had a package overnighted to me which was supposed to come by Wednesday 8/13. I made it a point I be home allll day. This driver came to my apartment complex & just left the door tag. This happened 3days in a row-- I ended up calling customer service and apparently there is a "behavior problem" with the delivery driver(s) in the area just leaving door tags with no intention of delivering packages. I explained to the representative, I know I can come to the store location for pickup- but that is not the service paid for. And now my sender is out her overnight shipping fee for nothing! I too had a problem with better be notified that a package could not be delivered because my business was closed. I don't own a business. The package should have been delivered to my home. I was home when I was notified that my package couldn't be delivered. It was a big mess. I finally got my package after going to pick it up myself twice. The first time it wasn't there when they said it would be. I later found a attempted delivery tab in the lobby of my condo building. What had actually happened was that the driver made it into my locked lobby, and left a attempted delivery tag in the lobby. He made no attempt to walk further into my small building to actually deliver the package to me. Nor did he call me to come out of my condo to get the package. Instead he slapped a mislabeled tag on my building lobby saying he was unable to deliver the package to a business that was closed around 11:30 in the morning that doesn't exist. I'll leave a star because I have to leave one. But it'd give it a quarter of one if I had to because they have doors that open. This place is horrible. I tracked my package to this store and I came in on Saturday to get it picked up since I needed my shipment before Monday. The scheduled delivery was for Monday but I payed for two day shipping when I placed the order on MONDAY night. In all, package left Wednesday from place I ordered(already late), arrived to Burbank and to this location on Friday morning at 7am. Package sat at location alllll day. So I decided to come in the next day @1pm(Saturday). Hence , I called the customer service number and they claimed I could pick this package up here. Front desk clerks said that package was in the back and they have to sort it out and it would take hours to pull. I said no problem I'll wait, manager came out she said come back by 430 and we should help you out. I said no problem I'll be back. Came at 430 to wait to 530 AFTER they closed to tell me they couldn't do anything to help me and they had to sort so packages could make the plane I'd have to say this is the worst experiences I've ever had with a delivery company. Unfortunately NFL only does FEDEX deliveries. I pay for the delivery service and if they're not fulfilling their statements why say you're 2 day will be days?? I f*cking hate this place. read more

Remember when the movie "Castaway" came out, and Fedex was the paragon of efficiency? The model for shipping and transit? There was even talk about having USPS privatized and Fedex picking up the lion's share... I don't know what happened to THAT Fedex. This modern Fedex is a twisted abomination of it's former self, an inefficient, monolithic broken machine that has multiple databases that don't sync or talk with each other, blatantly untrained employees, and absolutely ridiculous "pick up" or "delivery" windows of 8-10 hours long! Sorry, but had to write this after 45 minutes of going in circles with morons on the phone who (1) scheduled a pickup yesterday for a 2 hour window (today, I found out that it's more like 10 hours), (2) sent the pickup driver to the wrong CITY, (3) didn't inform me of the pickup being linked to a damage dispute case...that's already CLOSED, and (4) confirmed that there's no way that I, the buyer, could get details on why the dispute was denied, only the seller can do that. You know, all my life, I've never been one of the popular ones. I didn't hang out with the jocks or pretty bitches back in high school, and I was the nerd back in elementary school. And as you know, kids like me become invisible to some people. Many don't notice you. It sucks sometimes, but at the end of the day, it's all good. I still lived through that. But man, when I went here, it was like that all over agai- no, I take it back, it was as if I passed on with a pending vendetta towards an unknown Fedex door tag that I got on my house door and wanted some answers, and so my spirit visited this place to ask questions about this door tag when I didn't order anything online the past couple of days. Sadly, as a ghost, the guy at the counter never saw me. He just kept doing his thing, leaving me hanging by the counter with this mysterious door tag. It felt lonely. All I wanted was answers, but this employee's psychic ability isn't strong enough to sense my presence. I finally gave up, leaving the door tag sticking on the side of the counter. I resumed going my way towards the light. My restless spirit may never find the reason as to why I got a door tag when I didn't order anything online, but I hope other nerds like me don't feel as invisible when they go to this place. read more
