Purchased a drill from Lowe's that used fedex to deliver item. FedEx lost the package at the sun valley facility. Since January I've been getting the run around with FedEx telling me Lowe's needs to file a claim, but Lowe's says FedEx is giving another updated delivery date and they can't reach a FedEx rep to confirm package is gone. FedEx lost my package for 2 weeks. When I went to pick it up. They had re boxed, and things were loose inside. Informed them that I need to see if anything is damaged inside before I signed for it. She would not let me and walked away. The other employee went and grabbed her again. She told me sign for it and do what ever u want. Since these were parts for work. I loved my experience at this location. I had a drop off package that just needed to be sent back to the original sender. I had my packaged labeled and sealed ready to go. I loved it because there was no line. I entered and stepped right to the front. The gentleman who was at the counter greeted me right away but the best part was that he started cracking jokes. I just said, "I need to drop this off please." He said, "Have you said goodbye to it yet?" At first, it caught me off guard but it cracked. me up. He had a few more one liner jokes to follow that up but it made the mundane experience of dropping off a package to a delightful humorous one. read more

This Fedex always makes me annoyed. Whenever i was at home waiting for the expected package that day, they never deliver as scheduled. They never ring the bell and just leave a sticky note on entrance. No attempt to enter!! Why are they keep doing this?? I'm not sure how to rate this FedEx Ship Center. I don't need to go inside to speak with anyone and only use the drop off box that is outside. For several years now I have tasked to oversee all of my mother's health, finance and assets. There are times were very important letters are sent to us and will need to complete these documents and send them back immediately using FedEx shipping. FedEx gets confusing as they have divisions of different needs. Where I live there is a distribution center, a FedEx Home and this Ship Center. The first two are the closest to me but will not accept what I am trying to send out. Luckily the Ship Center isn't too far and the drop off can be dropped off anytime of the day, even after hours as the gates are open. I've had no issues with the shipment using the Ship Center's drop off box and is super convenient. I know there are some stores that have official FedEx pick ups but the drop box is a lot quicker and you don't have to wait for anyone. Parking: small private lot VERDICT: Rinse and repeat read more

This was my first time stopping at this location. I missed a package delivery at home and was left a door tag slip. Since the package required a signature, I was able to go the very next day and pick up my husband's package. The building was very easy to find, there was plenty of parking in front and the entry was open to enter, very airy open feel inside. I handed the rep my door tag and within minutes he brought it up, scanned it, verified my I.D. And I was out the door. Very convenient location and professional customer service. read more

I've been torn on this Fed-Ex Ship Center for a while. Look, FedEx is the worst, it's even worse than USPS. I don't know why FedEx drivers can't figure out the gate code to my building even when it's included in the DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS and my FedEx PROFILE! But they just can't get it. It's impossible for them, okay? So, when I get a notification that someone is sending me something via FedEx I know that unless I magically am outside my door at the EXACT TIME the driver pulls up, I'm going to end up at this Ship Center (not only can they not figure out my gate code, they also can't figure out text alerts, OR calling me on my cellphone.). Side Note: I've also had SEVERAL packages lost because of FedEx last year (never happens with UPS or USPS). Anyway, So the Ship Center itself? First of all, it's WAY FAR out from my apartment. I mean it is quite the drive. There's a FedEx Office location a block from my house, but do my packages ever get sent there? NOPE! So I have to drive all the way to North Hollywood/Burbank to get my laptop (as an example) that I need for work! There's a VERY small and cramped parking lot, and you may not be able to find parking. There's usually a line, and there's usually someone whose request is going to take them 20 minutes (not FedEx's fault, but be more efficient or have more people working). You'll hopefully end up with your item, although there have been a couple of times that I've been MORE efficient than the FedEx driver and in the time it took me to get the MISSED DELIVERY note, drive to the Ship Center, the actual FedEx truck hasn't been back yet. In these instances I've had to come back the NEXT DAY (because FedEx doesn't try to deliver things multiple times. They don't actually TRY to deliver things at all). So why two stars instead of one? Well, the people who work here are usually friendly and helpful. Usually. And like I said, at least I usually get my stuff (usually). Not sure how FedEx is still in business though. read more

Crooks! Thats the only word to describe this place. I packed and shipped a perfectly working samsung note 10+ as it was part of the trade in program requirements to get $550 off of the newest Note phone. Samsung sends me photos of an empty box, aside from the blue shop towel I wrapped the phone in and the air pillows, for added protection. Because the box did not have the phone that I put in the box, samsung stated that I will be charged $550 dollars because I didn't meet the trade in program requirements, by sending an empty box. Somewhere between the time I dropped of the box WITH THE PHONE INSIDE, to the time it reached Samsung processing plant, the box was opened and the phone was stolen. FED-EX have employees who are straight up gutter! I know all employees are not dishonest and crooked, but the ones who are really make the company look bad and create heartache and stress for those who use use the company for shipping. read more

This is a FedEx location hidden in the row of commercial businesses. The parking is terrible as there are not enough spaces and most people end up making their own spots to park in, which causes issues if you parked properly and sometimes may not have enough room to back out properly. This location always seems understaffed and is rather small inside. There was a limit of only 3 people inside when I attempted to visit. Having been there before, I figured going earlier in the morning would yield better results, boy was I wrong. There were already 5 people in line, yet no employees to be found. Whether they were in the back already tending to something for the customer at the desk, I'm not sure. But found it unacceptable there were not multiple associates. After 5 min. waiting and still seeing no associates, I just left. Sadly, even on previous visits, I have never found this location acceptable. If you have a former Kinko's by you that would not be a FedEx ship center, you'll probably get a lot better service there. I typically visit 2 locations close to me and never had an issue with either beyond the occasional line when it's busy. If you want quick service, DON'T come here. Save yourself the hassle and find another FedEx location. read more

So not after a month of runaround without a straight answer I have to being my claim back to these morons. I had a package that came through this center that was stolen. My address is in Los Angeles and was "delivered" in Sun Valley. Ive been calling for over a week and no one has given ANY info as to where to find my package . It took a week for a case manager to be assigned to investigate , and now I have to wait an additional week for information. No one has been helpful AT ALL! Because this time I actually sat outside the door (which is not easy to do for hours) to wait. No truck arrived. No one came up any sidewalks. Would give negative stars if possible. FedEx as a whole is terrible but sometimes get it right. This location in particular is almost guaranteed to lose or damage your package. Do not use FedEx if this is your local facility. Especially if it's a smaller item. I have had 10+ items lost or damaged anytime someone ships me FedEx. FedEx is the only delivery carrier that CAN NOT deliver a package. Never once have they delivered a package that I didn't have to go pick up myself. I leave delivery instructions on their website, I unlock the gate and there is also a call box, I wait at home for the driver. While sitting and waiting, I get a notification that I was not home, without fail... every single time. I once called and had the driver turn around and he was an ass when he returned. UPS, USPS and even the pizza guy can somehow all get to my door, but not FedEx. I cannot stand when I order something and this joke of a company is the one delivering. read more
