I come here often and treat the staff like a friendly neighborhood store. Only a few give it back. They have to be some of the rudest employees. One in particular, Ava, I have always gone out of my way to be kind because retail can be a harsh work place. I've worked it, but I treated people kindly no matter what. That's customer service. She has been so unkind and rude a few different times. I have spent a lot of money there and even that shouldn't matter. She makes the snarkiest comments and is never professional with such a know it all attitude. I truly feel like they could use a lesson in customer service. There is another girl who works there also who is pretty much the same way. I just avoid her all together. It really sucks that this location is so close but I will not be back. The one on New Circle has such a better crew and I will definitely make the drive. Get it together!! read more

This place sucks, the staff don't care and act like you're stupid when you ask a question. I came in to buy a fish I know a lot about and have had them for years but they refuse to sell to me, because they said a 29 gal isn't big enough for one fish and needs a 45 gal to live and it took forever to get someone to the back to help it just seems like no one really cares and just want to talk all day when I was leaving all of them was in the office talking it's ridiculous. First visit the young lady was super honest and friendly. Was looking for meds to help my Puppy use the bathroom. None of the meds really described what was happening with my puppy and she walked up and told me to just give him Cairo syrup and that would clear everything out. She was right she was brilliant and I appreciate that. Second visit was a nightmare. Because of the lady that I first encountered the first time I decided to go ahead and book a grooming appointment for my standard poodle. They called to let me know that he was ready or would be soon I get here my puppy yelping in pain from the grooming room. I thought maybe this was just standard for the first time he was getting groomed when I got him home. I found 6 to 8 Knicks From where he been with the clippers. I was furious. I went back at time to look at it. Ask questions about worming medication. It was time for him to get some more worm prevention medication. The lady was different. This time was maybe a manager type asked me how long I had had my Papi if I had ever had one before that young. I said it's been a long time. She told me that the medication and she grabbed the box it was gonna be $68. She smiled and went to a veterinarian and they let me know that she shouldn't be advising and they got me what I needed for $18 I'll never go back to supply was injured. I went to Feeders Supply to check it out. When I shop in-person I'm rather a flash to avoid people, so I went directly to the feline department to peruse their products. They don't carry the boy's dry food, but he does eat Blue Buffalo wet food, as an occasional addition to his diet. I didn't see a large variety of the brand, and I can do better price wise elsewhere. FS offers a large variety of products and services, just not for me and mine. 7 read more

The store is well supplied but the staffing at the Richmond location is simply insufficient. I'm sure no one loves being on feeder fish duty, or getting crickets, but every single time I come into this location, it is a crap shoot on how long it will take to get someone to help me. I scheduled an appointment online for 2 of my dogs about 4 days before hand. When booking online I selected the appointment for one of my dogs (XL dog, groom and bath) and was then prompted if I'd like to add another service which I did (M dog, groom and bath). Something told me I should have called but I didn't because I assumed everything would be fine. I show up a few minutes early to my noon appointment and the first girl to greet me was very kind. Then the person who would actually be grooming my dogs came out and was very rude. Her name is April B. Rather than being helpful and having good customer service, she told me how I'd booked my dogs wrong online and that if I wanted to to do them both it would be 5 hours compared to the 3 hour quote online. I then told her I wanted to have one of my dogs shaved for the summer time. She scoffed and asked why. Even though it's none of her business I told her because he gets hot and it's a preference of mine. I do this every year. She then informed be it would be 4 hours for just the one dog. I'm paying for a groom and a bath, not expecting half a day of him being in a crate with little of that time actually being spent on the services I'm paying for. For the other dog, the medium size, I told her I couldn't wait 5 hours but she said she could do a walk in trim service. She was supposed to trim his sanitary region, belly, tail, butt, and paws. Before she even looked at him she told me it wouldn't be even and it would look bad because he wasn't getting bathed. I've taken him to PetSmart several times, they never bathe him, and it's always a great experience. Since I was immediately going out of town and had to have something done I agreed anyways. She took him back and brought him out a few minutes later. I didn't get a good look at him under after we got home. She barely trimmed his butt, didn't touch his feet and didn't get anywhere near the sanitary region. At this point I was furious. I had already left my lab there and was second guessing it. I called and spoke to a manager named Kathy about my frustrations. I explained to her that I feel like April half did the grooming on my medium dog since she told be it wouldn't look good anyways. It appeared that she barely tried and was using her saying that to cover herself in the situation. She seemed understanding and assured me they'd take good care of my lab and have him done quicker than the 4 hours April quoted me. She also said she'd refund me for the medium size dogs services (or lack there of). I go to pickup my lab after almost exactly 3 hours after dropping him off. Once again, I feel like the job is half done. She didn't pay much detail to under his arms, around the base of his tail, one of his nails hadn't been cut at all on the front, I still don't know if they preformed the whole service they were supposed to (exercising his glands), but I proceeded to the checkout anyways. Kathy met me there and rather than refunding the medium dog service she deducted it from this service. When I booked online, it was supposed to be $75 for the XL dogs grooming. When I get to the register it's now $95 because I wanted him shaved. I question this and she tells me it's actually supposed to be $100 so it's already $5 cheaper than it should be. Can you say false advertising? This place is the most nickel and dime groomer I've ever been to. I tried to give them a chance and will absolutely never return. I feel taken advantage of and not compensated how I should have been with the extra hidden charges. The groom was terrible for both dogs, customer service was terrible, I had faith in Kathy making it right and she failed to do that either. I wish I could give 0 stars for this terrible experience and now I'm out $95 for one groom that should have been $75, another $40 for the leashes and collars I bought while I waited, and have another dog with a bad looking haircut. read more

We love Incredipet! We visit once a month for the self-service dog wash. For $12 you get to use their facilities which includes a raised tub with a tether to keep your dog in place, a variety of shampoos and conditioners, smocks, towels, a blow dryer, and a large compartment dryer. We can get both of our German Shepherds washed and dried (for the most part) in an hour. It's worth every bit of $12 not to have to deal with the mess in our bathroom at home! Be sure to get a Club Paws Dog Wash club card to earn a free wash after 10 washes. They offer a great variety of pet foods here as well. Again be sure to get a Club Paws Food Club card to earn a free bag after the purchase of 10 bags. They have a good selection of Lupine collars and leashes. These are our favorite because they are guaranteed even if chewed up by your dog. You can simply return it and they'll give you a new one. I haven't been in this store for years, just because I didn't live close, but it is wonderful. Nice, bright, clean, smiling employees, and lots of selection. Caitlin and Colby were both wonderful. Knowledgeable and so polite. I went in for fish food and dog nail clippers, after my movie I came back for 6 fish because they were healthy and in very clean tanks. With customer service that made me feel if they really were there for me and reasonable prices I will surely be back. read more

So let me start out by saying that the employees in here are super helpful. Also, it's a very clean facility. I was asked at least 4 times if I needed anything or any assistance. They also have a great selection of feline items for it being a smaller store. On the other hand, I have to drive a bit out of the way to come here and the prices are more than some of their competitors that are closer to the house. After adopting our kitten from Lexington Humane Society, I thought I would drop by and see if the prices were comparable to other places I typically go too. If I lived closer to that side of town it would be kosher but I don't. I bought a few items while I was in there so I wouldn't have to make another stop none the less. read more

me and my son was first time fish buyers needed to know how to take care of the fish and wanted to know if a five gallon fish tank would be ok for a goldfish they said thats fine but they acted like we was stupid when we ask question and they acted like they really did'nt know what they was talking about at all they would say was i don't know everything you ask about so we bought a fish got home done everything by a book we got with the tank from walmart and now the fish is about to die because the tank is to small which they said was fine so now my sons fish is diying thanks to no help from the staff so we are never going back . read more

My dog loves going to our Incredipet. We like the one on Richmond Road. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They will offer to carry your stuff out or order things if they don't carry it. They also have great advice! You can bring your furry friend with you, and I always make a point of getting him one of the cookies they sell upfront. read more

This was a great place to wash the dogs when it was Incredipet. $12 for an hour to wash as many dogs as you needed, it was a great convenience, and I'm sure, increased the foot traffic. I always got the dogs a treat, so they made money off of me every time I went in. Then Feeders Supply bought it, and it is no longer a place I will patronize. Firstly, they moved across the street to the Kroger shopping center. The increased traffic scares the heck out of my two dogs, and it took some coaxing to get them out of the car. Then, once inside, I learned that they now charge per dog! With tax, it is now $25.98 for ME to wash my dogs. I was going to suck it up and pay, but the machine wouldn't read my chip card. After multiple tries and frustration, I gave up and went home to wash my dogs in the bathtub. In retrospect, I'm glad it wouldn't process my card. Maybe my card thought it was a ripoff too! read more

I hate to give this place a poor review as the staff is always very helpful and friendly! I've used Feeders self bathing for many years now. I typically go biweekly and bring ALL of my dogs for at least one if not two bathing spots. I have been very loyal to this location. Recently they revamped their grooming tubs, but the water pressure is terrible! What used to take me 15 minutes per dog now takes me 30-40 minutes and it's almost impossible to rinse all of the suds out of their dense double coat. Although several people have complained, feeders said other locations haven't complained so they elect to do nothing about it. Unfortunate to say the least. Feeders has lost my business. We will miss the kind staff and hope that maybe someone will address the issue soon. read more

Wonderful place to bathe your dogs! The ramp to the bath area needs some improvements, but otherwise it's okay. The staff is unbelievably friendly. They are always in a good mood. How can you not be when dogs are constantly in and out of the store? :) I buy my cats food from here and their return policy is unbelievable. If your fur baby doesn't like their food you can easily return it and try something else. They even have samples that you can take your animal to try before making a purchase. Staff is very knowledgable of their products and inventory is almost always stocked. Love this place! There is a man who sticks out in particular, but I cannot remember his name! Never going back after 10 years as a customer. They never have large bags of the most popular dog food in stock. For years, the Incredipet employees would compensate by giving me 2 medium bags for the price of the large, plus give me my brand loyalty points. However, today, the owner, Julia, refused to do that. She told me that she didn't have to justify how she stocks her shelves to me and that I should shop elsewhere. The place is clearly mismanaged and the owner cares nothing about her long term customers. I will be granting her request and shopping anywhere but Incredipet. read more
