This was my first and will be my LAST time I'll be coming here . I typically go to license spas, but I wanted to try this local spot out. The prices were good, but unfortunately my massage was a waste of money and time. I went in to inquiry about a foot massage but was convince to purchase a full body massage instead. I scheduled a 80-min massage and it was one of the worst massages I have ever had . I actually should've gotten up 30-mins into it, but I really was hoping her technique would improve. But it didn't . I kept telling her to please use oil instead of lotion-base cream, which kept absorbing quickly, making the massage dry and rough. Her strokes were not smooth and relaxing but aggressive and overall felt unprofessional and untrained - like she was winging it. I got a massage with my mom here. The massage was so good I felt like I was in a relaxed, meditation state! They play classical music during the massage & it's nice and warm in the back room. We got the $59 80 minute full body massage and it was well worth it. You can't beat that price anywhere! Usually 80 min massages are more expensive but this place is quality. Very good traditional Chinese massage. This is true therapy. The massage therapists there are good at understanding where you are having issues and if you need extra attention. They can be quite firm, which I really appreciate. I could imagine that it might be too firm for some folks. The therapists understand and speak a little English. I suggest speaking with the host to explain any issues and what you are expecting in terms of firmness. Communication has never been a problem for me. Just don't expect a conversation with your therapist. (You shouldn't really be speaking anyway.) The massage tables are separated by curtains. They are not as private as separate rooms. With some massage places, you would typically remove all your clothes and be covered with a sheet. They do use a towel to drape you. However, I usually wear shorts or just my underwear. They have both male and female therapists. I always call ahead to make sure that my preferred is available. I love the warm water soak on the feet and the hot stones. Great value for the price. My daughter and I went to get massages. When we tipped the ladies, we were told that they wanted more money after giving each a 16% tip. The guy in the front asked for extra money on their behalf in front of other customers. We each gave them a total of 25% each, which we shouldn't have. We should have taken our tip back if they didn't want it. Remember, you don't tip what they want. Tip is not a requirement. One of the ladies was sneezing throughout the massage. I just wonder how many times they do this to other customers? One other thing,when you are asked to turn over, the hole where you put your face smells so nasty like a gym. Terrible experience. Called and made an appointment for 6:45pm. Walked in on time and the lady swiped our card and made us wait for 20 minutes in the lobby. They then took us back to the massage area and we waited for another 35 minutes and nobody came. Decided to leave. Had to call the local police in order to get our money refunded. Staff was extremely rude and laughed at us when we wanted our money back. Funny how their English speaking ability drastically decreased when we wanted a refund. We will NEVER be back. read more

This is a clean and well organized foot and back massage. It's safe and you are in one big room with dividing drapes. Linens are clean. The price is great for what you get. They do a routine and are trained. It's not a personalized massage but you are not paying for that, Hot stones and one hour- great deal, very polite and respectful staff. I never post reviews but I had to for this Fantastic spa!! My mom and I went for a 1 hour hot stone massage and it was one of the best massages of my life! The facility is very clean, well- maintained, and comfortable and the massage was well priced. The staff is so friendly and our massages were excellent - they spent so much time on each part of the body and we left feeling ten pounds lighter. Both my mom and I had intense back and shoulder pain and left feeling no pain at all. Best part is the feet soaking in hot water with acupuncture pressure pads underneath. I hesitated even writing this review because I have had excellent experiences here. BUT after last night I'm officially done. This place is totally unsanitary. I had been in a few months ago late at night when it was busy and watched someone refold the towels on the bed next to me on both sides after they had been used for the next day. Seeing how I was the last customer out that night I'd hope that the beds would be stripped and cleaned. But NO! I decided to go again last night and I had the same experience. The gentleman that did my massage folded the towels he had just used on me for the next customer. They put a paper towel in the hole for your face when you flip over and its it or miss if the smell doesnt overwhelm you. I've had amazing massages here BUT seeing how I felt the need to go home and shower immediately last night that feeling is why I felt the need to leave a review. I realize you get what you pay for and for $29 it is a steal if you get a person that knows what they are doing...but the ICK factor is just too much to continue giving this place my patronage. read more

My friend and I went for a foot massage, we got up sold to the 80 minute combo. The room attendant signaled for my friend and I to take our shirts off...which was odd, but we complied and had towels out for the front of our bodies. What we heard next was appalling, a women in the room next to us started saying stop, no, this isn't right, no. I then heard a scuffle and she started to cry. My friend and I overheard her call her husband, who then walked in the store, like we are talking minutes. He demanded to see the guy that was massaging his wife, as she was hysterically while calling the police. At this point, our massage was ended, our bins were put in front off us and we were asking to leave. We collected our refunds and walked past the 3 cops, husband and this poor women whom I assume was improperly touched/assaulted. I'm so proud of this women for saying no and making a scene. It's never okay, especially when she said stop and he kept going. If I could give a zero, or place should go out of business I would. Probably the worst massage I have ever had. Although if you like feeling like you've been beaten to a pulp you will probably like it. Next day... my neck is swollen and my back is killing me. I've had excellent massages elsewhere that leave you feeling relaxed & loose for days. This one left me feeling tortured & now one day later in excruciating pain. I love my massages but I'm very disappointed in how much they increased their prices. I understand it's a tough time & much was lost during Covid. I also understand the need for a increase in prices but they didn't just increase on a gradual basis like $5 or $10. They increased them by $15 to $20. The $30 massage went up to $45. Time for an update! Unfortunately this location has gone down hill. As others have mentioned, the front desk staff is consistently rude and focused on up-selling. More importantly, the quality of service has decreased significantly. Over the past couple of years, I have typically gotten a massage here every 6-8 weeks. My daughter went to our local Feet Feel spa in Downers Grove, at one point she was uncomfortable by the way the man was rubbing her body, but this was her first time getting a massage, so she brushed it off. I asked her if there were any type of Licenses posted knowing reputable Spas post their State of Illinois Massage License, she said nothing was posted. I did some reaserch and found that employees at most of all Feet Foot spas are not certified licensed massage therapist. They are supposed to only do hands feet shoulders and upper backs, not full body massages. This is probably why their prices are so reasonable. I wanted to share my daughters experience for any other young women who may have an uncomfortable expierence at these places, if your uncomfortable get up and leave if they cross the line by touching you inapropriatly and hiding it under the guise of the massaging you, call the cops. You may want to also rethink your comfort level, of getting undressed to your underwear or even naked, your just letting a random man rubbing your body down. That's your choice. read more

Went with my girlfriend to get a couple massage, the masseuses went extremely hard and it was actually really painful, I told them to take it easy but they still barely adjusted the pressure. We didn't pay 100 to get bruises and muscle pain, I came to relax. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and was very assertive when we were leaving about tipping the employees. I gave her my card for a tip and told her to charge 10 dollars for a tip. She proceeded to charge $11 and not tell me, I had to ask her why she charged a dollar more. She said it's a dollar charge for the card which makes no sense because they didn't charge a card fee for my massage. Overall this place was greasy and management was ignorant. The masseuses need to make their customers more comfortable. Some people don't like undressing in a wide open room with other strangers around. Don't come here. read more

I went in here in an impulse one afternoon while I was in the area and some extra time and wanted to treat myself to a foot massage. It was a 60 minute promo for $30. The woman who took care of me was way TOO rough. I asked at least twice for her to be gentler. Didn't matter. She never asked about past injuries, trouble areas...nothing. In fact, she didn't talk to me at all to find out about the pressure or anything. Those are things that a good spa would ask their clients. She massaged my feet for about 10 minutes. That was it. I didn't want a body massage, just my feet. She twisted my body in various positions too that were extremely uncomfortable. I've also had a neck pain on my left side ever since that has not gone away. It's horrible. So yourself a favor and pay the extra money to go to a regular, luxury spa - not this place. Don't let the name fool you, they don't just massage your feet. It is a nontraditional massage business being that you are in a communal room with others receiving services. For the majority, you will keep your clothes on. Please read my notes below to understand more.* Once you can get past the idea that you are in a room with others, the massage is absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend them for a very affordable and relaxing massage. *They showed me back to my chair and asked that I remove my socks and shoes. I had read about the need to wear loose clothing so I wore yoga pants, a tank top, and sweatshirt. My masseuse asked that I remove my sweatshirt. I did, which allowed her to really do a thorough job. I could understand that it might make some people uncomfortable so I wanted to make sure to call it out. read more

Seeing all the good ratings on Yelp, I figured I would give this place another shot, but try a different location. Glad I did. Yu was my massage therapist and he was excellent. Applied good pressure and asked throughout if good. He spent more time on my back as well. Go to this location, also ask for Yu ! Lastly I made the mistake of comparing these places to full service massage spas with licensed therapists. Don't do that. It's not fair to. I don't know how you beat this place with the price they charge you. $29 for an hour massage, half foot and half whole body. I have to admit the quality of the massage depends on the therapist you have but I have learned to let them know if it is too firm or not firm enough. I find it to be clean and pleasant. Occasionally the person at the front desk does not speak the best English in the world but I have never had a major problem communicating. I have found that once you get a masseuse you like, to book an appointment and request the masseuse you liked. I have also found that for a few extra dollars I find the longer massages, which are done behind curtains to provide more privacy , the way to go. I did buy gift certificates in December and gave them to my children and their spouses. they have loved their experiences. read more

This place is almost enough for me to move back to Chicago. Best massage I have EVER had. For $29 dollars. The massage was insane. I felt physically violated in the absolute best way possible. I told my mom and sister that I was probably pregnant after walking out of that place. OK I am joking, I do NOT want to deter anyone from going here because seriously it was incredible. Maybe the guy who did me (TWSS) was just particularly impressive (I've taken to referring to him to him as Quan, and yes, I'm in love with him) but I am just in disbelief. I can't even imagine the way Quan would have made me feel if I had taken my clothes off and oil was involved (TWSS x 40 but what can I say? It's the truth! I'm updating my review with more praise and love: this place is F'ING AMAZING. I came is so tense, and I had no idea how bad it was until I realized how amazing I felt when I left! I love the foot soak. I love how they rub your head and upper beck to begin. The foot rub is def the most time consuming, and it's some kind of badass Asian techniques because it affects your whole body. They do really well on the back too; I love how the guy put his body weight into it using the larger areas of his hands/arms to massage big sections on my back. Oh, and I LOVE getting my glutes and hips rubbed. I run so much and that whole area gets super tight and sore. That combined with working on my legs- I just feel so refreshed and alive now. I didn't even know how sore I was. I feel like a new runner! I was so happy afterwards I gave the guy a hug. He was so sweet too, giving me some water and holding the door for me. Just run run faw away....How in the hell does this place have 4 starts. Where to start. You walk in and I w would say it's as expected. The trouble starts when you go through those doors to the room where they massage. Sadly I was so excited as I was very sore and desperately needed a massage. I went right to where they pointed me. This young kind named Sam came to the spot I was directed. Brought water for my feet and didn't bother to even as if I had any problem areas which is common practice for a foot massage/body massage clothes on place. The room was crowded with beds So the torture starts. I don't won't go into too much detail about why the massage was so bad but a 5 year old would have done better and had more pressure. The whole massage was a constant up and down motion, awful. There oil is watered down with water. Which they spend 5 minutes rubbing it off with a towel that feels like sand paper, SERIOUSLY OUCH! My least favorite part... When they flipped me over to massage my back the whole they stuck my face in smelled like a hockey players gym bag after pratice. I feel like a complete idiot for not leaving then and there. Then this kid proceed to ask me to remove my top. Remember I'm in an open room with lots of other strangers getting massages. I gave in thinking maybe this would make the massage better. God was I wrong. Then WITH OUT ASKING unsnapped my bra. There is just so many things wrong with this place. OH it doesn't stop there although I wish it had. Finally the torture "massage" was over. As i was putting my hair back it it's tie I SAW THE MAN that was making the most uncomfortable comments and moans HAIRY ASS. Just hanging out like it was totally normal. Ugh- I've hesitated on changing my review on this place, but after 3 days and I'm super sore .. I feel like I MUST! I literally feel like I was physically assaulted here Saturday night here. It's Tuesday and I'm still so sore I feel like someone beat me... oh wait.. he did... full on jamming his elbow into me and physically hitting me throughout the massage- I cried after 1/2 way through and asked to go lighter pressure... I swear he went harder.... here's what happened: Saturday I cooked all day- beyond sore and was thrilled to see they were open till 9pm. Walked in around 8:10 and asked for the 30 min (more than enough time to close and honestly wish I would've been told they were closing early) The man who massaged be clearly did not want to be there. Wore his coat (which made that swishy noise) keys in his pocket (which jingled the whole time) and had wet squeaky shoes I swear he made squeak even more... I wanted the foot rub but he insist I lay face down- I've been here before (I used to love this place!) and I said "no, feet I don't take off my shirt?" He started speaking in a different language to another worker who yelled over "LADY! What you want???" I said "feet" she said "take off your shirt" and I replied "no... I don't take off my shirt, it's my feet?" See now I'm very confused and feeling like this relaxing spa area is suddenly not the same place I've been many times. He says ok, feet... and says "start face down" And than he went at me with pressure that you would on someone 300+ pounds. I'm a 36 year old 5"3 female -!the pressure was way too much and as I asked him to less pressure and told him he was hurting me...he would chuckle and just go harder. It was awful- he left 3 times throughout - once came back with some hot stones but the other 2 times I was left there for 2-3 minutes no idea why? This has truly NEVER happened to me there!!! Again, I loved this place! I was excited to go- The grabbing of my butt was rough - and than the open hand slapping that he did at the end was just insane.. I truly felt like he was beating me.... ripping at my arms- putting me in almost chokehold moves- again, I've been here before, none of this is anything I've ever had before and I've been numerous times! (At this point I'm wondering if anyone is reading this whole story... lol! But hoping management or someone does- this must be fixed!!) He was done within 15 minutes- thankfully, I think another minute of it I would've walked out - I literally had tears at the end and was in so much pain I couldn't take it anymore. It was so not a normal massage, and perhaps he was upset I was one of the last clients, but they are open till 9pm and I walked in with more than enough time ... had I not they need to change their hours or when I asked, she should've kindly said "sorry! We don't have anyone" but she didn't... and she put me with someone who clearly did NOT want to be there... When I paid I initially I asked for her to run my card for $10 over- I always tip $10 . The 1/2 hour service is $31 and I tip well over 20% (I loved this place!) she handed me a 10 bill which I had no problem with, but after that.. no way! No way was I tipping $10!!! He just beat the crap out of me- I went to the front to get change and had to wait to tip him $5... they still were open for another 15 minutes the minute I walked out the door. Called my husband when I left "ahh! Babe! How was your massage?!" All I could really say is "I feel like he like physically assaulted me.. I'm in so much pain- the whole thing was painful, so glad it's over!" Who says that after a massage?!!! I debated on writing this yesterday- but didn't .. almost brushed it off.. but here I am Tuesday morning and I'm still in so much pain I can't get over it. What a horrible experience- I can't believe the amount of pain I still am in. I have no idea what went wrong in that mans day, but I can tell you he completely took it out on me. Oh! And never once rubbed my feet- not at all! Straight up back with elbows- hard core pressure and smacking the crap out of me. Unreal- had to share. Not sure if they switch beds, but when you walk in straight back he is on the right car back right after a little half wall. I don't know his name (they never tell you) I was never given a card with his hours or anything. If the owner is concerned I expect to hear from them. They can look me up- I checked in at 8:10 on Saturday April 14th.
