We tried more food and loved it: ma po tofu and Singapore mei fun. Both were spicier than anticipated (I love spice); it was delicious! Very quick, and again very fresh perfectly not-oily shrimp rolls. (Odd: cash or venmo only!)

First time eating from this restaurant. Ordered for delivery. Had the boneless spare ribs combo (tasty char broiled), general tso chicken combo was okay, shrimp and broccoli was good, crab ragoon had a very sweet filling (no red dipping sauce). Paid 41.90 for all. No extra for having spent x amount on a order, as other places give you free, (ei can of soda or soup etc.) Will I come back sure. Tasted better than closer joint. Portions was smaller almost like lunch sized vs dinner (felt I didn't get my value worth). No issues besides the one stated with food customization.

Yes, I am a FAN. I will, nonetheless, out of Yelpintegrity, preface the following review by disclosing the below fact: Every single time I've been to Fei Ma, I have had sessions at The Library http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-library-new-york#hrid:nUflUeI3f5--MF0hogHlFQ. Honestly, I only had three drinks at The Library last night and my Singapore Chow Mei Fun was just as good as the first time I tried it. For $4.95 you get a styrofoam-plate-full of steaming fast food Chinese. At any hour of the night! Mei Fa is absolutely delicious as long as you check your unreasonably lofty expectations for a nearly-hole-in-the-wall fast food Chinese joint. I'd recommend dining-in, since it'll give your food less time to think about its temporal existence and prevent it from going sweaty and soggy on you.

Absolutely love this place. The General Tsoa's tofu is the best. The only downfall is that it's cash only.

Best Chinese in the East Village, y'all. Flavor is top notch and not too greasy. Prompt delivery and your belly will sing with joy. Trust.

If you want cheap chinese food that is decent quality go here. For 6.25 you get decent meat and a lot of rice.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

Upon entering they informed that they are open late just that certain things aren't on the "open late" menu. Decided to keep it simple. Ordered the scallion pancake and a veggie bun. The scallion pancakes were good and the bun was nice and soft. The decor was cute as well.

Service is very fast and they kept the water flowing (spicy dishes really are spicy!), and the portions are huge. Though you have to pay extra for white rice ($3 a bowl), the overall value was reasonable for the main dishes. The grilled pork spare ribs was good, but it was too little meat for the price. The scallion pancake was bland. The Peking duck was ok. The pork xiao long bao was bad. The skin broke easily with the included forceps and with chopsticks. It was hard even transferring it to my plate. The mapo tofu was bland. The la zi ji (spicy crispy chicken) was too spicy to eat. I have good spice tolerance, and I always eat la zi ji, but it was just too spicy. This was the only meat dish that was barely touched at the end of the dinner. The best dish was the cumin lamb. It was seasoned well and the lamb was tender. I wish they gave us more lamb though. The meat pieces were small. I've had much better Chinese food in dallas. I would not recommend this Chinese restaurant to anyone.
