Interior is beautiful with warm brick tones and mirrors. Wanted to sit outside but changed to appreciate the aesthetics. The service was impeccable. There were servers with varying ages and experience levels. They seemed well trained and were very responsive. The food was wonderful quality, fresh and not overly wrought. They brought out gluten-free bread with olive oil, which was a thoughtful treat the server offered. The Fiore mocktail was delicious and flavorful. Next, the beet salad was simple with four ingredients: beets, potatoes, haricots verts and feta. The feta tasted imported and complex. I would have liked a vinaigrette or more flavor, but the ingredients were all well prepared. The branzino/Chilean sea bass smelled amazing. It was en papillote and looked moist and perfectly cooked. The frenetti pasta came with tomato gravy, fresh tomatoes, Parmigiana Reggiano and fresh burrata. I ordered gluten-free pasta. It was one of the best gluten-free pastas I ever had, cooked perfectly al dente. Unfortunately the gravy was simple and well made, yet was too much in proportion and tasted too salty to me. It was hard to eat more than a few bites. The server and management handled it with aplomb. The flourless al limone cake was the best gluten-free lemon cake ever. It tasted almost like semolina cake and almond cake hybrid. Last but not least, the gelato buontalenti, was a delicious custom tableside service with overflowing amounts of unctuous vanilla gelato, with lightly sweetened pistachios, strawberry compote, and sea salt. We had a great dinner experience here -- from service to food. We found street parking nearby, but our friends chose to valet park. We'd been to a couple restaurants in this area/street so had an idea in advance of their location. We were greeted on arrival. They even seated us although we were quite early for our reservation. I don't remember her name, but we had a very nice eager to please server. We started with some warm crusty bread fresh from the oven. They offered oil for dipping and we also requested some butter. To begin our meal, we got an appetizer of fried baby artichokes and calamari. We wound up sharing it with the table as the portion was so large. I really, really liked this dish. A light batter, a couple of lemon wedges, and a dipping sauce made for an addictive starter. For our main meals, we each got a pasta -- fettuccine bolognese (with a veal ragu sauce), fusilli ferreto (with burrata) , and conchiglie (shell pasta) with smoked salmon. I was the one that got the shell shaped pasta with salmon. It was supposed to be very spicy with chilies but I asked them to tone it down. The pink sauce (a bit of cream in it too) and it was perfectly delicious! All the pastas were large portions and we all took some leftovers home. If it wasn't for AJ, this place would've gotten lower stars. Came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, made the reservation 2 weeks before and requested a booth. When we got there, the hostess sat us at a table in the middle of the restaurant and it was freezing that night so every time someone came in or left, we were hit with wind. I asked the hostess if we could move to a booth and she told us it was for reservations that requested...? But we requested one? It was a total turn off, first impression is everything and she didn't seem to care at all. Their espresso martinis are so perfect!! Do yourselves a favor and order that. We had the calamari which was pretty good, bf was a huge fan of the chicken parm and he got gnocchi with vodka sauce which was phenomenal. The cacio e Pepe was very mid, wish there was more sauce and the pasta was a little hard too. For dessert, we had the pistachio cake which was phenomenal. Some friends and I went here for a holiday gift exchange dinner. This place looks mellow & dark, but the inside is pretty lively! Staff were amazing, we received a round of Prosecco on the house and also the manager was really friendly. I ordered the pepe de cacio with spaghetti pasta & it was chefs kisses! We continue our Felice Tour, visiting their West Palm Beach location! This is a stunning space (see photos) that's open, filled with natural light as well as beautiful fixtures, and with an amazing marble-topped bar area. The manager Flavio greeted us like an old friend and made us feel welcome right away. Our drink order (margarita and Old Fashioned) was expertly crafted and delicious, as is true with all their locations. We enjoyed their prix fixe lunch (2 courses, $33) and started with a favorite: baked eggplant parm, which was hot, fresh and a delight. Our entrees were branzino with roasted vegetables, cherry tomatoes, olives & capers) - so juicy and tender, and super flavorful. We added dessert and have to say their flourless lemon cake is so good it makes you forget it's gluten-free! And their homemade tiramisu is one of the best I've had. Let's start with the positives, because credit where credit is due. The decor and overall vibe are top notch. Absolutely beautiful space with dim, romantic lighting that makes you feel like you're in for a great night. Now let's get to the food experience. They require you to order everything at once. No ordering appetizers first, no pacing the meal. Not my favorite approach, but I went with the flow and they did a decent job timing the apps from the main course. The eggplant appetizer was outstanding. Truly delicious and a must order. The tricolor salad was just okay. The dressing was tasty, but it came with two very tiny slivers of avocado and a whole lot of lettuce. A little unbalanced. My husband ordered the gnocchi. Unfortunately, it was hard and chewy, and the sauce was watery. The flavor itself was decent, but the texture missed the mark. My friends shared the steak and they enjoyed it, so that was a win at the table. Now, me. I guess I'm the problem. I ordered the chicken Milanese and specifically asked for extra balsamic reduction on the side. What arrived was not balsamic reduction at all, but olive oil mixed with balsamic vinegar. When I politely asked for the reduction, the server looked confused and said she would check if they even had it. She returned to tell me they did not. Not only is it listed on the menu, but I ordered the dish with extra balsamic reduction. To make matters worse, the chicken itself was so dry it was honestly not edible. The manager came over to apologize for the lack of balsamic glaze, mentioned they've been trying to get it in stock and offered to let me order something else. By that point, no one had checked on our table, not once, and everyone else was already finished eating... At that moment, ordering something new felt pointless. As the manager walked away, I noticed a very obvious eye roll from him. As someone who basically grew up in the restaurant industry, I was genuinely shocked. I smiled, stayed quiet and hungry, and internally thought, you boil balsamic vinegar and let it cool. Boom. Homemade balsamic reduction... While our server seemed sweet, she did not know the menu. If a guest orders a dish with extra sauce and you do not carry that sauce, you tell them. You do not substitute it with something inferior and hope they won't notice. One last thing worth mentioning. There are only two single bathroom stalls for the entire restaurant, which resulted in long lines throughout the night blocking their kitchen entrance. On top of that, my husband was charged for every single glass of iced tea. No mention of no refills, not bottled, just quietly rung up per glass. Unfortunately, I will not be back. Nothing short of magnificent! From the time we entered, the doors greeted and was mesmerized with the beautiful ambience. They had outdoor rec seating, but it was a chilly day in Florida so we opted for inside, we were seated promptly. I always like to ask about recommendations on cocktails and food. The manager was very attentive as he asked if this was our first time. We went along with all of his recommendations and everything was absolutely decadent. The good: The ricotta appetizer was absolutely delicious, hands down my favorite thing we ordered and I'd come back just for that alone. The rice balls were also great and something I'd happily order again. My husband's burger was very flavorful to me, though he did mention the meat tasted a bit "watered down" somehow and the burger was nothing special to him. My pasta was good, but slightly more al dente than I prefer, so next time I'd try a different main. The cake was nice, but nothing memorable enough for me to reorder. The salad was good but very basic, not something I'd get again. Overall though, the quality and flavor are clearly there, and I'd definitely return to try other offerings. The staff was kind, and the ambiance was beautiful, which really added to the experience. The not-so-good: Unfortunately, what really took away from the experience was that two dogs were seated at the table next to us, sitting on chairs with their paws on the table, eating off the floor, and shaking fur around. It was honestly disgusting, especially in a nicer restaurant setting. These were clearly not service dogs. What was also concerning was that the chairs were not wiped down or disinfected afterward, which is an issue for anyone with allergies or who simply doesn't want to touch surfaces where dogs had been sitting. In a food-service environment, basic sanitation standards should be enforced, and allowing non-service animals inside especially on chairs and tables feels inappropriate and unsanitary. For a restaurant with this level of ambiance and pricing, I expect a certain standard of cleanliness and dining experience, and this detail alone made it fall short Because of that, it bumps the experience down to closer to a 3 than a 4 for me. I truly believe this place has a lot of potential - the food, service, and atmosphere are there, but that aspect really needs to be addressed. The service didn't lack and the food options were good. We had the Caesar salad and added anchovies for the starter. The branzino was the least favorite dish of the night. There were potatoes and other veggies that took away from the true flavor of the fish but it was edible. We prefer the whole fish with minimal additions instead of a filet, especially for the price. I eat here pretty regularly. The owners, who also operate Sant Ambreous, in Palm Beach, set a very high bar. The pair of smaller fires here was most unfortunate, at the end of Season. The chef could not continue. A new one was brought in. I visited several times. Could not catch the chef, unfortunately. The slide, however, in the cuisine, was not okay. Read my review from last month? I will still stand by it as well deserved. I came in, last week, for a drink. The gentleman in charge of front of the house that night was very cordial. Then I found out, after the extension of a few kindnesses, that the powers-that-be were not too happy with my review of 20-ish days ago. I explained that it was intended as a wake-up call, as it wasn't seemingly possible to get our new chef's attention to the concerns. I promised that I would get to a new review, when I ate there next. This is it. I came back in, recently, with another chef friend of mine, who hadn't been back since the change. On a very limited menu, in size, We both really loved, and applauded the last chef's menu being economic, yet both culinarily creative, while honoring some of the better "less seen" plates in American Italian fine dining. I felt that it would be good to have someone, who also enjoyed the food, take an objective look. I wasn't planning on mentioning it, to get his unvarnished opinion, but our friend the manager dropped a catty remark, behind the bar, about the prior review, which had him ask why the guy said that. The evening went down hill from there. We were visited by said manager multiple times, in the midst of our conversation, as we haven't hung out together for a while, and this was a social, as well as 'work' evening. The intrusions included not just asking about the food, and its quality. He informed us that he was bringing the chef out. I asked him not to. I would really prefer to have had the convo in private, weeks ago, but alas.... There is nothing worse than being marched out by the front of the house guys. It's like culinary Schindler's List, to me. Bad bad form. It's embarrassing for all. I can fully appreciate the desire for a good review. I cannot appreciate the fervor that was injected in here, to do that. Star down for turning the whole evening's meal into a proof-of-performance for the chef. It was inconsiderate, and it was, I'm sure, for him, quite embarrassing. So, with all of that build up, how, then was the food? We ordered the calamari appetizer, which my friend asked for as a main, and the trofie, that I had tried earlier (see prior review). The bartender put a note out that the calamari was a MAIN. It still showed up as an appetizer. Reading the tickets? Always important, but more so when you have the FOH doing the dog-and-pony for a review. The calamari itself was better than I've seen it. Bigger pieces, with the same exceptional dry-fry. Then the trofie came out. Trofie (Troh-fee-eh) are a spiral pasta from Liguria. They have a thin shape, tight spiral, and tapered ends. That gives them nice chew, when they're al dente. It also makes them ideal for pesto, which is the classic pairing of them, in that region. To its plus, the pesto had far more flavor than the last time. There was a bit too much of it, but not a drowning. Chef adds green beans, which I think could offer a nice contrast, if they blended, in form, with the trofie. On the first try, they were a few, French cut about 2", and dropped on top. This go-round, there were more French-cut green beans, too. My friend agreed, that, if you're going to introduce them to a trofie pesto,, they should really be julienned. The thin cut gives more of the contrast between the two, per bite. The bit of burrata, on the top was broken, still. The trofie pasta wasn't mushy, but it was still overcooked. One of the reasons it's a treasured dish is that it's a delicate, chewy wonderful form that takes a bit more attention to pull off. Not an easy feat in a small kitchen with a huge dining room, and a lot of outdoor seating as well. It went from a D to a B+. I'd say either leave the green beans out, and focus on a better slice of burrata, or find a greater elegance. It's still a bit lacking. Chef is a nice, amiable young man. He came out with dessert, a variation on a pasticciotto, his dessert special, that one finds in Puglia/Salento, that honors the Italian side of his family. That was exceptional. it was heartfelt, and real. One of the difficulties, when you preserve past chef's menus, is that they become a game of telephone. The people, with the passion to cook the dish, go, and the passion can go out of it. While it's hard to let go of favorites, I would hope, then, that the owners give him a bit more free reign to bring in the kind of unique, harder-to-find in America, dishes that have been the top of the menu for past chefs at Felice. Let go of the past, and trust the future that you have handed to this young chef with promise. read more

Sauce had good flavor and eggplant wasn't over fried. I got the salad with grilled chicken. I was a bit shocked to see the side chicken was $12 and they don't even add it to the salad. It's literally a thin thin thin slice of chicken on the side plate. But it had good flavor. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm. My son had his leftovers and also said it was good. I would have rated higher if host staff had been a bit friendlier, if service was better and if the chicken side had been a little more reasonable in cost. Desserts were nothing special so we skipped. Bathroom was clean and stocked. Parking was tricky, we got lucky and got street parking but circled around a few times. Absolutely not! The worst service! When I entered the establishment, I informed the hostess I had a reservation but asked if it was still happy hour which she informed me it was but you would have to sit at the bar. My husband and I let her know we would like to order some items off the happy hour and we would like to sit at a high top, so she escorted us to the high top and gave us a dinner menu (and forgot to give us the happy hour menu). The waiter finally greeted us after about 10min and we informed him we would like to look at the happy hour menu and have water to start. Another 10min passed by and the "back waiter" poured us some water. We waited another 10 min for our waiter and he never came back to our table to take our drink/food order (and happy hour was over at that point!). We were hungry and frustrated by the lack of service especially give the THREE hostess and manager just standing at the hostess stand- watching the staff scramble back and forth, we left disappointed and with the worst first impression of Felice. It was really the lack of communication that put the nail in the coffin for me... there was never "I'll be right with you", "Sorry for the wait" maybe we went on a night when they were short staffed but I don't plan on visiting any time soon due to this poor experience. read more

Felice was a great find because it had gluten-free options for my wife. It serves Tuscan-influenced cuisine in a stylish dining area with upholstered leather seating and warm wood flourishes. We grabbed one of the lounge booths and enjoyed crafty cocktails like the Matera and the Amalfi Spritz. The latter was a citrusy twist on the Aperol Spritz, made with Pallini Limoncello, Campari, orange bitters, and Prosecco. For food, we enjoyed the Branzino Al Cartoccio and the Pappardelle Con Salsiccia. They were both lovely, but my preference was the latter, which was served with gluten-free pasta for my wife and worked great with the sweet Italian sausage, porcini mushrooms, and truffle sauce. I devoured the branzino and liked how they prepared it: oven-roasted, wrapped in parchment paper, and served with cherry tomatoes, capers, Taggiasche olives, and braised shallots. The Yukon gold potatoes were also very tasty, along with the Branzino. My husband and I shared the Tagliata di Manzo prime sliced 16oz NY strip steak. Cooked perfectly medium rare and seasoned very well we had a side of crispy Brussel sprouts with it. Nice hefty portion. We also each ordered a plate of pasta. He had the fettuccine alla Bolognese and it was meaty and rich in flavor. One of the BEST Italian restaurants in Palm Beach County! This is real Italian food not NY Italian. The interior is beautiful!! And the service is amazing. I truly enjoy Ariana's service (had her at the bar) she is very knowledgeable about the food as well as the drinks and she is always a joy! The only complaint I have is that I only had the carbonara once and then it was removed from the menu and it was the BEST carbonara I've ever had in the US! Me and my sister had such a lovely dinner experience at Felice! We had been to the Miami/ Brickell location and we were really excited to try this location. The bread, Chicken Parm, bolognese pasta & side of corn were all so delicious! Please also make sure to order dessert- the tiramisu, chocolate cake and pistachio cake were all out of this world! The ambiance was classy and elegant and the staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating. A huge shout out to MICHAEL! He was so engaging, sweet and considerate. Was seated outside. It was chilly but they put the heaters on and had blankets to use! It was cozy outside. A romantic spot with little lamps on each table. I liked the green and white umbrellas with the red chairs. It had a Christmas-ey vibe to it. Ordered the PACCHERI CON FRUTTI DI MARE: seafood ragù, red wine tomato sauce, Carbonara, and the TRICOLORE salad: misticanza garden salad, radishes, buffalo mozzarella, avocado. The salad had what tasted like a mustard dressing. It was good. You could tell that the seafood ragù had al dente pasta. The carbonara tasted good too. The service was timely. We had complimentary bread with a delicious olive oil-it had a little kick to it. I would definitely come back here! read more

We spent almost $300 and left hungry. Just FYI - this place claims a happy hour, but it only applies at the bar and high-tops. I came with my family, which includes a differently abled family member - but they wouldn't seat us at a table and honor the happy hour. Also, their happy hour sizes were VERY small; they weren't the actual dishes as normally served. This is NOT the point of a happy hour -- you aren't supposed to pay 60% of the price... for half of the amount. The conceit of a happy hour is to pay less for the same dish or drink, to induce demand in areas of the restaurant at times that are less popular. Felice seems to be the only restaurant in recent memory that doesn't follow this logic. Overall, we were pretty disappointed. The ambiance was pretty nice, but it doesn't make up for misleading web descriptions, unreasonable portions, and frankly kinda scammy happy hour practices. Do a happy hour or don't, but don't serve half portions. read more

I was traveling solo back to the Brightline when I spotted it and ducked in! it was early happy hour on a Friday. wonderful happy hour apps and great craft cocktails or wine menu with a variety of options! It was love at first bite! The bread is fresh with a crunchy crust and plenty of dipping options! The Staff is what I most LOVED!!! Every employee engaged, shred laughs and made you feel apart of a party! Locals wandered in assuming their favorite back corner and shared their go to favs! I could've stayed all night! (That wouldnt have been a good idea come Saturday haha) I can't recall the staff names but mgrs please look up Friday March 13th! Hank them all! And mention the Titanic! Phenomenal!!! We've been to Felice in Roslyn, NY -which we love- but never to this location. We sat outside amongst the sparkly trees across the street and beautiful evening. Eliannys was a perfect server making excellent recommendations. The Ceasar salad was superbly dressed and delicious. My husband loved his fettuccine Alla Bolognese and I was over the moon with my malfade al limone that our server suggested. It was so lemony and creamy and yummy! Can't wait to return!! read more
