The coffee has a smooth cocoa flavor profile and they have a couple of roasts to choose from and a large homemade pastry selection and cafe menu. The cafe is cozy and has local art. We are happy they renovated the bathroom too! They have some couches and armchairs. Once things settle down, they're planning to do more events too like open mic and yoga. They roast some coffee on premises too. My husband and I love it here & it's popular with university students so sometimes it's busy during the school semesters, but we enjoy it while it's not as busy on Sundays. Quaint little place near USF that sits hidden behind chain restaurants. Fun vibe with many unique drinks! Great spot for studying but has tight quarters and you have to be okay with that. This coffee shop is the cutest little house from possibly 80's that they decorated it very well. Very cozy spot with super nice staff that help you navigate through the menu if you are new here. I ordered a Teachers Pet latte and it was truly one of the best coffees I've ever had! Tasted very delicious with the right amount of sweetness. Parking situation: Confused with parking because there's a sign that says two way traffic (to the back of the building) and then right below it, it says Do Not Pass. So I was forced to park in front of CDB. There are no handicap parking in front. I asked about the sign and the lady said no it doesn't say "do not pass" (pic in comment) and assured me I can drive to the back. The menu is 3 pages.. 2 of drinks and 1 of some sandwiches they offer. While the sandwiches sound good, I ordered one vegan donut and one small vegan hot chocolate and that came to almost $8 (that's a bit high!) She asked if I want a receipt and I said yes however never handed me one. I checked my bag and nope no receipt. I went to eat my donut and saw the donut was put in face down in the bag where the icing stuck to the bottom of the bag... not so thoughtful there. The donut was good in flavor and texture. The hot chocolate was good, Nothing amazing because they don't have vegan cream or marshmallows. Price is way to high for this experience. Cute place and not so bad taste. Nothing spectacular. As we pulled up, we immediately noticed the quaint and welcoming atmosphere of Felicitous. We were greeted by the barista and she immediately helped us. Since it was our first visit, we had questions about the different drinks and varied roasts. Not only did she know all about the drinks, she was delightful in helping. My wife ordered the "Teacher's Pet", and I had the Colombian Roast with a Blueberry Muffin. Each item was very delicious. The "Teachers Pet" was not too sweet. In fact, it had the perfect flavor for a sugary coffee. The Colombian Roast was fresh (not burnt) and it wasn't too hot to drink (like some chain shops). The blueberry muffin was warmed to perfection! I've never used this word in a review or frankly, in casual conversation until now. This place is CUTE. It's a clean, funky, well-decorated house that has transformed in to a coffee shop! There are seats both inside and out! Oh yea, the espresso drinks are excellent too! The beans are straight from our local Naviera Coffee Mills in Ybor City! Today, we tried some sandwiches and while we were not overwhelmed, they were tasty and on fresh cuban bread from our local bakery, El Segundo! Have you ever been to a place where the coffee/food wasn't that good but the service was so top tier you thought maybe I should come back and try something different? That's how I would describe this place. They have a very odd aesthetic but it's very accepting and friendly place. (No masks, no social distancing but this is Florida) anyways the place was crowded with like 10people sitting and studying at the little tables it's a very small place but very cute. Even though it was busy the barista still was able to come over to us and let us know that it was a little busy but it would be out soon which was a very nice thing to do. Felicitous is a homey coffee shop off of Fowler with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I specifically went looking for Felicitous, as I'd heard great things, and was glad I found it. I especially love all of the creative drinks, since I'm not a plain coffee drinker. I really enjoyed my Honey Bear at Felicitous, although, I was surprised that it was an additional $.50 to add a bit of cinnamon. I tried the quiche and thought it was just fair and probably wouldn't get it again. For parking, there is a small private parking lot in the front. Been to this coffee shop a couple times and I love the vibe in this casual chill place. It reminds me of good ol' college days, since this is located close to USF. There is free WiFi, and students are with their friends with their lap tops. Inside there are a handful of tables and couches. There's coffees, teas, lattes, sandwiches, and sweet stuff. People working there are super nice and helpful with the menu with tons of options. I picked the thai iced tea frappe, and loved it lots. You can also sit outside. There is some shade and it's on the side of the coffee house away from the tiny parking lot. There's a walk by window there to order as well. You can have your dog outside with you, but not inside. I have found more coffee houses where they can be inside with you, but not here. All around a nice chill local coffee shop spot. I like it a lot!!! This is a nice eclectic little place for coffee and tea and snacks. There were quite a few students who were using their computers with the wifi and studying. I met a friend there for coffee and we hung out for a while. The coffee was good and there were plenty of choices for types of coffee and tea. There was also food and deserts available but we didn't try those even though they looked good. The staff was nice but did not make any effort to suggest items even though we had asked about menu choices so there was no pressure to buy additional items. They offer a variety of coffee, tea, and baked items. They also sale local art and other items such as shirts and cloth masks. I purchased two cloth masks in addition to my coffee. I love Felicitous. It is truly an independent coffee house and they try to use local products, which is always nice. This little house in inconspicuously located on a side street just off Fowler. The staff is very friendly and I can promise you it is a very cozy shop. They use vintage reclaimed furniture to decorate the interior. Often the walls will be covered in local art that is for sale. The place is usually busy with USF students, especially around midterms and finals. They usually have a calendar of events ranging from poetry readings to open mic nights and much more. I used to be part of a book club that met there years ago till I had to move away. They also have board games available to patrons. This place will always hold a place in my heart. I know they have opened a second location nearby this original location which is a bit more modern and can probably hold more people. I am happy that they are doing so great! This place is a hidden gem amongst the chaos on Fowler. They have lots of snacks and make awesome sandwiches. My favorite used to be a PB&J with honey and granola or bananas, I can't remember but it was good. They can generally make you any panini you want as long as they have the ingredients. Their Taro frappe was delicious too. The prices were fair for what they offer. I highly recommend checking this place out. You will not regret it. I often think about Felicitous and the awesome people I met there, I wish I still lived close by. If you are tired of starbucks, dunkin, etc. give this place a try, even if you are not! read more

Hipsters love this place. Good place to study, "free" wifi, and somewhat good food. The place is usually very crowded and there is limited seating and parking. I can recount a number of times when I came and had to leave because no seats were available. That being said, when you do come and are able to get good seating, it is a cute place to study and meet up with friends. They also have wifi available but you have to order something to get the wifi password. They change it every month, along with the "theme" of the cafe. The theme usually correlates with paintings that they get from local artists in the area. How can I explain the inside of this small, quaint cafe? You know how some people just buy mismatched furniture on purpose and somehow...just SOMEHOW, it seems to all match together? That is a perfect way to describe the inside of this place. Now, since it is a cafe, they do offer food, drinks, and some pastries here and there. I've had the Gred and Forge panini (get the Harry Potter reference?) and it is amazing. Sadly, they have stopped selling that specific panini now but it will always have a place in my heart. I would also recommend getting the Green Tea Frappe. It tastes just as good as Starbucks (for just a little bit cheaper). If you prefer coffee, I would definitely recommend the Spiced Chai. Strong coffee flavor, with just the right amount of spices to keep you alert and awake. My only complain is that this place is a little expensive, but definitely worth checking out. read more

I was looking for yelp for local recommendations for coffee places and I found the coffee shop, the pictures looked very hippie and unique style so I figured why not. I got there, there is a good amount of parking and it looked like a house, i got inside and thought everything was interesting with how it was decorated. I looked at the menu and asked whats popular drink, I was told teacher's pet but I dont like peanut butter so I said prob not that one. The barista recommended regular latte. But I ended up going with double shots with pumps of white mocha and I wanted 2% but they were out. so she use regular milk with the pumps and I have to say it didnt taste anything like coffee, I wasnt gonna go back to have her make another one. If you want good coffee and you want to avoid chain stores, this is a fantastic place to come to. Located in a small house less than 5 minutes from USF campus, this place gives off hipster vibes and some great coffee and tea selections. Unlike some places that may water down your drinks, this place keeps the coffee strong and flavorful, just what you need to get your day started or just what you need to keep your day going. I got the cortado when I went this time. It comes in a shot glass with a layer of foam and latte art. The great thing about the coffee here is that they don't make it too hot. Some places, it's so hot you can barely drink it. Here, it's hot enough to keep you warm but also cool enough where you can start sipping as soon as you get it. The cortado was nice and strong and was the perfect drink for getting the day started. So I say support your local coffee shops!
