As a registered veterinary technician I have very high standards when it comes to the care of my fur babies. I was no longer able to trim my cats nails on my own and he had become so defensive at the veterinarians office to the point where none of my coworkers would help with trimming his nails. I wasn't sure what I was going to do! But then I found Feline Fabulous! He has been twice now and they are cat whisperers for sure! I warned them that he could be difficult and of course he was a perfect gentleman with them! I have never seen a nail trim quicker and he doesn't scream like he used to at the vet! I boarded my four cats with Carmen and I was really nervous about leaving them since they had never been boarded before. I don't know why I worried for why I did not bring the cats to her sooner. They were so happy! I visited the cats everyday and they all seemed so happy! My fluffy cat go groomed and he was so handsome. He seemed to prance around more than usual which is saying something! Her boarding facility is huge and much more comfortable than anything a vet's office can provide. I had ceiling repairs done to my studio apartment and knew little Zuri wouldn't appreciate weird men and loud noises for three days. I picked her up and dropped her off 8:45-5:15 Monday through Wednesday and was very impressed with the way feline fabulous handled the boarding process. They requested all vaccine reports and had me fill out forms with feeding, exercise, and other general requests. I was happy to find they even set up her favorite stuffed bear the way I recommended. :) Overall, the cat condos seemed adequate for a day or so but I don't think I'd leave Zuri here for a long period of time. read more

I took my two cats, whom I've never before groomed, to be bathed and de-shedded. Carmen was wonderful, and I could tell she was a genuine cat lover when my big boy diva, Mitch, actually let her scratch his chin. He never lets anyone outside the house touch him! Carmen was able to bathe both of my furbabies, but my girl, Mali, wouldn't allow her to try the de-shedding tool yet. I was just happy that Carmen didn't want to stress her out for a few extra bucks. I'm so happy that I'm arranging to board them here for my next trip in a few weeks. My cats smell so good that my dog didn't recognize them when we came home. I've brought my Smitty in a few times now for soft paws and de-shedding. She can be... how shall I put this... combative when such things are being done to her. But Carmen and her staff work quickly and painlessly. Where it would take me an hour and a good pair of work gloves to chase her down, bribe her with treats and trim those nails, they are able to get it done with little protest in the time it takes me to read through my emails and twitter feed in their front lobby. I've also boarded her there once and she seemed fine when I got her, minus her usual pissed-offedness at me for going away. That leads to a good customer service story. When I asked if I could drop her off and pick her up at off hours due to our flight plan, they worked with me to make sure there was someone there for drop off and pickup, and even gave me cell numbers to reach in case things changed. I took my Ragdoll, Gracie for grooming at Feline Fabulous after Carmen Craig had been highly recommended to me. We were not disappointed! Carmen has a wonderful personality and immediately connected with Gracie. The atmosphere of the shop is very calm and relaxing. The kitty condos are wonderful. Gracie was very content when we came to get her. If I ever have a need to board Gracie this is where we will go! The boarders I know of do not let cats out of a crate/cage while they are boarded. I am sure my Gracie would go insane if I was to leave her in this environment for any length of time. At Feline Fabulous the condos offer plenty for kitty. There is room for the litter box to be out of the resting area which is important for cats. There is a full glass door so the kitty can see what is going on. They also have a great exercise room that the cats can stretch their legs even more, sun, play with toys and watch the happenings of Plaza Midwood. I am so glad to have found. Feline Fabulous was amazing and saved our butts! Adam and Spirit are superb people and were more than accommodating for our two cats! We were relocating from Charlotte and our pet movers were not able to pick up our cats in time for our departure. We were able to leave our cats with Feline Fabulous and had no concerns whatsoever about the care they would be in. Communication was great and we got updates on their stay. A Professional Persian Cat Groomer!!! After a previous groomer made a horrible mess of grooming my cat, I knew I had to find a groomer that understood persians. It had to be a groomer that would not send him home looking like a 5 year old chopped up his coat with a pair of scissors and cut off his whiskers. ET's coat was really matted by the time I found Feline Fabulous. I called to make an appointment for a consultation but Carmen won me over during our phone conversation when she said, "If he is matted too badly, he will have to be shaved because trying to comb him out will be too stressful for him and I will not torture a cat." She had to do a lion cut but it is a fantastic lion cut. ET was an abandoned cat and, although he looked a lot better when I took him to Carmen than he did when I adopted him, I have never been able to get him really clean (those darn watering eyes keep his face the color of rust). Carmen had to wash him three times to get him clean but, when I picked him up, he was clean and beautiful for the first time since I adopted him. I only wish there were a higher rating than 5 stars. Five just doesn't seem high enough for professional service of this caliber. read more

I've boarded my cats here for the day multiple times without any issues! The staff are always so sweet & you can tell that they are true animal-lovers. It's tough to 'abandon' pets for a day, but I always feel reassured as soon as I drop them off. I have three cats and have used Feline Fabulous previously for nail trims. This weekend I did a trial run with one cat to make sure he could board. Carmen was great with him and spent time getting to know him so that he would be more comfortable. I also brought in my other two cats for grooming and I can't believe how great they look and feel. No shedding! Their ears are nice and clean and they are so soft. I could never get the same results chasing them around the shower with the detachable showerhead. read more

Took my cat to Feline Fabulous after the vet I found in Charlotte said that they would have to give her drugs to bath her. The vet and groomer in my old town never had a problem so I searched online and found FF and booked an appointment. They did a GREAT job and were very quick. They were so good with Pig I brought one of my other cats in when I went to go get her so he could get his nails trimed. If you have a cat that needs to be groomed but your vet has to drug them to do it Give FF a try first. read more

we took one of our cats, bogey, is for a lion cut. he is small but very hairy and develops huge hair balls on his belly he willnot let me touch. carmen took him in...and he is not easy...gave him a wonderful lion cut and we have a completely new cat. he is full of himself, like a kitten, playful and funny. he really feels better! they treated him like a king and we could not be happier. highly recommend!!!!!! read more

I just had the best experience with Feline Fabulous. I have worked for years with animals and have years of experience with cats and their care. I have seen some good cat grooms but I was more than pleased with Carmen and how professional she was with introducing her business, why she chose to go into cat grooming, and she was not in a hurry to end the conversation as I had questions and concerns being that the cat I was interested in having groomed, had never been lion cut, nor had been in a tub, except when it was dry, and of his own doing. When it came time for him to get his lion cut and bath, Carmen took all the time she needed, and really cared about not only doing a great job, but his health and well being. He was a little stressed, but she handled him with caring hands and he passed with flying colors. And did I say that he looks just great and he is running around like a show off and likes his lion cut also.
