I liked the first 2 stylists I had but then they left... this seems to be a common occurrence in the Naples area. If I find a stylist I like it's hard to trust a new one all over again. I usually come in for for highlights or toner, a trim and blow dry. My hair is just below my shoulders. The past two times I could tell my stylist was getting nervous because her next appointment was waiting, so I end up being pushed over on to someone else to "finish the job". This is 2 different times with 2 different stylists. I'm not fussy and my hair isn't crazy or difficult to deal with. I wonder if they just don't allow the stylists enough time to do their job right. This place isn't cheap so I expect better than this. Service is at least very polite and professional. read more

I am returning to the area and looking for a new salon. Have been using an EXCELLENT Aveda salon on west coast and decided to stay with the product/brand. This experience was horrific. I originally booked in Coconut Mall, however, they called day of appointment to cancel because stylist had to go to vet with dog (understandable since I am an animal lover!) I was re booked at Pine Ridge location. I specifically asked for a senior stylist as I was receiving color and wanted them to contact my other salon for the formula. Check in was friendly, however, the salon seemed dated, dark and extremely dirty! Would definitely not have booked if I had actually walked into the place. As I was picked up by my stylist, she did little to consult me on what I wanted and I ended up with the WORSE cut I have ever received. The color is ok, but a little brassier than I am used to and she had to leave half way thru to make more product. Money is not an object to me when it comes to hair, so the price has nothing to do with it. However, from the shampoo experience (awful!) to changing in a disgusting, dark bathroom, should have made me run out before the scissors started! I now have a "mullet"--yes, my long, layers have turned into a "shelf" with a few strands hanging lower in the back! There was no blending in, texturizing bangs, etc--total disaster! And this was a SENIOR stylist... I don't even know where to begin...I have contacted the salon, so hopefully they will call and be able to come up with a solution to this mess... I am still a loyal AVEDA user but will be much more careful with who touches my hair in the future! read more

The owner has since called me and invited me back to his salon for another chance - well done! I'm not 100% sure I will go -but impressed with his call! So I've redone my stars due to the fact the owner made a great effort fixing the situation ! Went in and ask for a wash and blow dry! I was so disappointed in the results - a older women who barely spoke English washed and blew dry my hair and did a horrible job . I looked better when I walked in - she also told me she was only able to do blow drys and nothing else which was very strange! I ask about getting highlights and she recommended another girl but when I got to the front desk the rude receptionist told me that I could not make an appointment with her without a referral / I said the lady that blew dry my hair just referred her to me- she said sorry it had to be a paying customer referral ! Not sure if she's new or not, but I went in for a men's cut today not knowing who was going to cut my hair and I was assigned to an old, Columbia woman (I can't remember her name right now). She did NOT know what she was doing. She cut huge chunks of my hair off in the back before asking me what I would like. She also shampooed my hair way too hard that it was painful, and didn't clean up my hair at all at the end!!! Her cut was not worth the money I spent here and I will not be asking for her ever again. Called them to make an appointment to get my hair colored and cut and highlighted. Got in pretty fast the same day. I have been growing my gray out to see what my hair would look like gray and decided I didn't like it. Allie was my stylist. She listened to me as I explained what I thought I would like to do that day. She did a great job coloring and cutting my hair. I went from semi grey to beautifully highlighted, Naturally looking hair again. By the way she gives the best massage while shampooing. Their prices are very reasonable and I definitely will be back. A disastrous experience at this Aveda hair salon in Pine Ridge Crossing. For the past five years we traveled to Naples and stay 4-6 weeks in early Spring. Last year in 2021, we met Nancy an excellent hair stylist/colorist who followed the instructions as written by our NYC colorist. Since this was an Aveda salon, Nancy transcribed the color notes to an Aveda formula. The men's haircut and both our color results were perfect. This year 2022, since we were invited to several Naples social events we scheduled our hair appointments at the same salon. We learned that Nancy was no longer working there, but since we had her written Aveda formula we felt confident that Chris, the stylist recommended to us, would get the same satisfying result. No, Chris did not. My husband's requested color was dark ash blonde leaving natural grey at temples and forehead. The result was instead medium brown with minimal grey blending. When Chris attempted to correct, the result turned a brassy, red brown. In retrospect, since I was sitting in the next chair, I don't remember Chris checking the color process which is very important if you are not familiar with your client. I do remember Chris had a third client between our appointments which he assured us he had plenty of time. Well, he definitely did not. Not even time to remove the dark stains around my hairline left from the color process. When I arrived home I was able to scrub and shampoo. Needless to say my husband could not go to the event without a visit to a different hair salon. After moving to Naples from NYC and trying several local salons/stylists, I was so happy to find Felix Andrew! Aveda color is great on my hair and my stylist, Holly, does a fantastic job on application. I have blonde hair and am very picky about my highlights being bright yet natural looking and I always leave her chair happy! The salon itself is very nice and who doesn't love a complimentary hand massage? I googled a few in the area and called to inquire about services but each time the phone was answered by bored/ uninterested receptionists .Until Amy at Felix Andrew who was bubbly and friendly and got me an appointment right on the day and time I wanted and paired me with Jen L . So far so good ! Well I wasn't disappointed - Jen L ( there are three other Jens there ) did an amazing job and I even went ahead and got my hair cut as well . I left feeling great with super shiny hair and not a big bill. I am picky about my hair and customer service and Felix Andrew does a fantastic job of combining both . I made a last minute appointment for my birthday today and the salon was quick to accomadate. A bright-eyed woman came from the back, Melissa. She made me feel completely at ease during the consultation. I needed some help on my hair color... I attempt doing it myself more often than less. After she added some color we decided on a wash, cut, and dry but she pulled something out I've never dated to try on my hair. A diffuser! She showed me how to use it so I feel comfortable doing it on my own. I loved the outcome! I'm obsessed with my new hair! Five Stars! Taylor at the Pine Ridge location did an amazing job! She gave the full service treatment on top of a solid cut & highlight. She took her time with an extensive amount of foils and paid close attention to detail. I'm used to Aveda salons up in Chicago, and was impressed by the careful process this staff goes through to be certain you enjoy the experience. The price is right for the quality of their services. I have been using Aveda salons forever and this one was the worst of the worst. My stylist colored my roots hilighter orange! She then toned my roots so many times my scalp was burned, and it didn't make a dent in the bright orange color. At the end of the day she told me she didn't know how to fix it, but the owner of the salon who had watched this disaster play out from beginning to end, didn't step in or offer any solutions! Nor did either of them apologise for the damage done to my hair. I called in sick to work the next day so I could drive to Miami and have my old stylist fix the mess they made. He couldn't believe that an aveda stylist could be so inexperienced and create such a disaster. Its been 2 months and I'm still repairing the color. Holly has cut and styled my hair now for a few months . The last stylist I had there left or got fired she use to do a good job but then I don't know what happened to her. She went down hill as well. I bring pictures when I want a change in my current style. Holly (new stylist) will make suggestions. She does not however look back at the picture you brought. The cut does not turn out at all like the picture. I have short hair and this last cut on Sat 7/18/15 is hideous. She cut it so so short no one can even fix it. Looks nothing like the picture.. People in the big Corporation where I work were shocked when I had to come into work Monday looking like I did. I showed them the picture of what I wanted and they could not believe it. I will never never never go back to her again. I am done with Felix Andrew Salon . Maybe she can style long hair but she has not a clue about short hair. Stylist need to listen and pay attention to what they are doing. If you can't do something say so. Maybe talk less and pay more attention to your well paying customer. read more
