I initially went to QT Nails for a soak off due to my long nails not ideal for work, but Judy and Vivian suggested to work on my nails that would make it look natural and still job friendly. I was up for it since I personally don't like the appearance of my natural nails. My biggest issue is my wide nail bed. These wonderful ladies suggested a nail shape, size, and nail color that would suit me best. They put powder on my natural nails to make it strong. They also added designs on my nails. I noticed that Judy likes doing designs, so I highly recommend her for that! They were very accommodating and even offered me coffee. What I like most is Judy's attention to detail. Although it doesn't seem important, I like that she use her tool to drill the bottom of my nails to make them look even. A lot of nail techs I've been to forget this detail leaving my nails thick and uneven. The price was also competitive compared to other nail salons nearby. Soak off + cleanup + acrylic over natural nails + gel polish + design = $55 + tip. Will definitely go back for a fill and pedicure. Monday's are slow, so I highly recommend going during those days. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! I wasted 2hrs and a half here! Judy did my manicure, she was super slow. She did a nasty job, cut my skin using the electric file. The dip powder was not done directly on my nail, she left a huge gap that I'll have to go to other salon to fix it in a day or two. She was too rude and talked about me to her colleague. I was too excited to hire a babysitter, get my nails done and have some me time! I was here yesterday for a regular manicure. The first impression is that the place looks a little run down but clean. Spent $13 on a very satisfying manicure. What I don't like about this place is that they were trying to up-sell me to get a gel manicure even though I said no twice. But other than that, this place is awesome!! I already had a nail color picked out but after looking at it the lady suggested a different one and I do like it much better! And another + is that I asked for a design accent but she messed up and she honestly told me that she did and would not be charging for the design (didn't have time for redo). I've been in nail salons where people mess up but still charged me so HONESTY earns majors stars from me. And the lady used tools from a "clean tools" set for me so that was nice. Did QT Nails make the cut? YES. I can finally say I found a local place that I would totally come back to. There is a nail place pretty much at every plaza you go to but its the little things that make one better than another. I was pleased to see all the quality nail polishes on display such as OPI, Essie, and China Glaze. I decided to not do my typical French pedicure or hot pink and went with a glittery peach color. I asked Bea (my pedicurist) which color I should pick and she said this one would look better. She actually put both colors and let me compare them to pick which was really nice. There are two flat screen TVs on the screen playing Winter Olympic stuff which was nice. We sat in these comfy spa chairs that massaged you. I did the winter special- 40 minute pedicure with hot stone and paraffin. It was divine. The paraffin is this warm kind of creamy substance that's in a plastic bag you put your feet. It feels so good once they take it out and they massage it out. That is soo my favorite part of the pedicure! At the end they gave you a zip lock bag that has a buffer and nail filer for you to bring back on your next visit.. which is actually a very smart marketing move. It ingrains in you that you should come back! I also liked that the ladies had pink aprons on as a uniform with their name tags. This higher level of professionalism will take QT nails a long way and thats why they have so many satisfied customers. Helps that parking is easy even though its in a busy lot! read more

I got a spa manicure which was 12 , a spa pedicure which was 19, french tip is an additional 5 dollars, and two cute little designs on my ring fingers for another 5. The service was really good, my friend and I did a walk in since it was a last minute thing, we wanted to try out the Academy for Salon professionals, but it seemed that place was only known for their hair cuts and how cheap they were, and they didn't have anyone avalible for us. So I called up QT nails and the owner picked up and told us they'd be ready for us in ten minutes. We showed up and got seated right away. Amee did everything perfectly, her mani-pedis were really nice and her massages were good. She was real caring to my needs too, I never had to lift a finger. Up until a few months ago when they changed ownership/management. The manager brags about her Yelp reviews and talks down to people like they're children. Everything is up sold like multiple colors/designs, the newer employees don't listen when told no for an up sold service and end up charging for it. Requests are not honored.
