The place is so beautiful and it's such a vibe to just be there. I am amazed at how much detail went to the shop. The couches are nice and the staff is friendly. My problem is with the coffee. I was left wanting a different flavor than I expected. For context it was a Sunday morning so it might've been busy. But I ordered a flat white and it tasted like filtered water with a dash of coffee. There was absolutely no flavor and could barely taste the coffee. Maybe I don't know coffee well but I've been to tons of coffee shops in the west side and this is for sure one of the ones I was disappointed by. The space itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with lots of natural light plants and a relaxed creative vibe. There is plenty of seating inside and outside which makes it easy to work meet someone or just enjoy a quiet moment. Service was friendly and efficient and everything felt easy from ordering to pickup. This is the kind of coffee shop you remember and want to come back to when you are nearby.

Watching as the barista/matcharista made the matcha with such care, checking the temperature of the water, whisking, what appeared to be a lot of milk over ice, I was skeptical. The matcharista started teaching me the technique to whisk it properly, talking about the quality of the matcha and how I can attempt to make it at home. He was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I was very impressed with the quality of the matcha, it was incredibly earthy and slightly creamy... and that small squirt of strawberry was jut right, not too sweet but added a hint of flavor.
