I went on Saturday and waited over an hour. What's special is that you can sign up for the event and get 20% off all products, which is rare for the Korean cosmetics line because they usually don't go on sale. For this special event, they have a limited edition line of tinted sunscreens that come in various shades, so you can color-match your skin with the various samples. It was hard for me to find the right one initially, but I went with the Daily Tinted Fluid Sunscreen MP200, which has a pink undertone. You'll notice the second letter of the item will have a 'P' or 'N'; 'P' stands for pink, and 'N' stands for Neutral. The pink undertone works better for me. So once you get in the store, you'll be given a program/booklet. You'll want to write your name and the last four digits of your phone number, and in the program, it'll have the products, and you can list the quantity of each product you want. You give your booklet to the team members, and they'll call you when they're ready. The event has a rice bar with rice treats and a photo booth. The space is small, but you can chat with the representatives to learn more about the various products. Their most popular product is the TikTok viral sunscreen, but due to FDA regulations, the Korean version can't be sold in the States. So Beauty of Joseon had to pivot and create a new sunscreen, so check it. It was pretty good, but overall, it was a cool event!

The place was well decorated and they offered yummy free Korean treats such as unlimited pink sikhye, peppero, and Yakgwa. I loved how they had all their skincare products out for you to sample with workers that gave you a full on review on the products. They also had a fun Photo Booth where you got a picture and free skincare samples after! We bought two serums there and got 20% off on top by attending the pop up. It will stand straight up once you try to tilt it. This place has the best blind boxes and we love the collaborations they do. Although, Gucci still maintains licensing rights to the name GG/Gucci, COTY has a greater global marketing and distribution especially in Asia. Sometimes when an exclusive high end brand 'sells out,' to a conglomerate, it loses it cache when many of its loyal customers, because the loyal customers no longer believe the brand is that exclusive...and sometimes Devalues and with Miley on board, they're right on track. This is a cute temporary pop up shop to check out with cool pink floral wallpaper. Located in the meridian next to The Fountain Bar. 'Gucci Flora' is among the latest fragrance lines and has Miley Cyrus as the spokesperson was a turn off for Me. While she may be a great singer/performer, there is nothing 'Gucci Flora' about her and she is not someone I would like to emulate or exude her scent...a major Gucci gag reflex!!

WARNING: Aggressive "Free CD" Hustlers - DO NOT TAKE THE CDs!…read moreLocation: Right outside the Muscle Beach parking lot, near the outdoor gym. Be extremely careful if you are walking near the Muscle Beach parking lot. There is a group of three men claiming to be "up-and-coming musicians" running a very aggressive, coordinated hustle. Here is exactly how their scam works so you can avoid it: * The Hook: One guy will approach you and try to hand you a "free" CD. Even when we said no, he played on our sympathy, claiming it was his own music and asking us to just show some support for a starter artist. Out of politeness, we took it. * The Trap: He immediately offered to sign the CD. While we were distracted waiting for him to sign it, his two partners swarmed us and pushed their own CDs into our hands. * The Shake-Down: Once the first CD was signed, the "free" aspect completely disappeared. He demanded a donation and refused to accept small bills. When my husband took out a $20 bill to break it, the guy practically grabbed it out of his hand and walked away. * The Swarm: Then, the other two musicians cornered us, demanding money for their CDs. My husband gave one of them his last $5, and the guy actually complained that it wasn't enough. The third guy started whining about getting nothing. * The Intimidation: I tried to be nice and intended to give the last guy $5, but they started physically circling me, aggressively demanding $20. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and intimidated. I told them to just take the CDs back--we didn't even listen to that type of music and certainly weren't paying $60 for it. They refused to take them back, eventually lowering their demand to $20 to split between them. To get out of this threatening situation quickly, I handed over a $20 bill just so they would leave us alone. This whole experience was extremely upsetting. I would gladly give my money to someone genuinely in need, but being bullied and cornered into "donating" is completely unacceptable. It left such a bad taste for us, we ended up did not spend a dime in any of shops there. Not event a souvenir! Bottom Line: If anyone approaches you with a CD, do not make eye contact, do not engage, and DO NOT take the CD no matter what they say. Just keep walking!

There are 3d printed goodies for sale of random whimsical things. The woman who started this is from Kansas and seems like a spiritual woman who likes soul searching things. I look forward to buying more from them - especially the bandit pineapples.
