They sold us frozen old fish, insisted no refund as if they knew! Dinner was ruined. I had a bad feeling from the start

Although the selection of items is…read morevast which is nice, I spent a long time shopping today to be met with a checkout clerk that I honestly thought was going to go crazy in the middle of checking me out. He never asked how my day was or anything like that just asked what bags I wanted and then proceeded to freak out over his walkie talkie not working because he didn't want to bag and had a line forming. He spoke a lot under his breath about this issue. When it came time to bag anything and everything is thrown literally into bags. I just spent $320 on my 6 little bags of groceries and you're treating me like crap for it even though that's how they have jobs. Then a clerk comes up and he proceeds to ask about hearing him over the walkie talkies, meanwhile the new clerk blows her nose, messes with her tissue a few times, puts it in her apron and starts touching my food items! What in the actual hell is going on over here. You know what store never treats me like I'm the problem to short staffing and high prices? Sprouts and I will be taking my business there exclusively!

It seems like they have higher prices now than in 2025, comprable to Safeway…read more They advertise an "organic foods" section, bit don't have tags/prices for all the items, and the products aren't consistently organic. The produce pricing is bizarre. I recall them trying to sell jicama at a premium, so much so that I saw the same sad jicama week after week until it shriveled up and died. The pricing only comes down when no one would want the bruised or old produce. It's wasteful and stupid. Check the labels for outdated items. The Winco is better and has competitive prices, perhaps because it is a coop and not a corporation? Meh. I can live without the occasional "find" I used to go there for. Lately, they just have the same unsellable junk.

I had a horrible experience at this Grocery Outlet location. I frequently shop at this store…read morebecause it is close to my job and very convenient to stop by after work. On this particular day, I purchased several items and headed to my car. Once I got there, I realized one of the items I had paid for was missing. I went back inside and explained the situation to the cashier. She told me she needed to call the manager. When the manager, Cynthia, arrived, instead of helping me resolve the issue, she looked me directly in the eye and stated that I was not missing the item because she had been told I ate it in the produce section. This accusation made absolutely no sense, considering the item in question was located near the checkout registers, not in the produce department. I was shocked, embarrassed, and deeply offended by the way I was treated. I explained that I had not eaten the item and suggested that she review the security cameras to verify what had happened. Rather than investigating or attempting to help, Cynthia smirked, walked away, and left the issue unresolved. I've never experienced such poor customer service. Being falsely accused of something and then dismissed without any effort to investigate the situation is unacceptable. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, not embarrassment and accusations. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this store, and I will be sharing my experience with others. Management's lack of professionalism, particularly from Cynthia, was extremely disappointing. A simple review of the cameras could have resolved the situation, but instead I was treated as though I was dishonest without any evidence. I expected much better customer service and respect from a store I have regularly supported.
