Happen to try Feng's Garden through some catering. We had some chicken and broccoli and fried chicken wings and white rice. Not sure if it was the combo of both chicken and broccoli and wings but both tasted awesome and fresh. The wings didn't taste like it was refried multiple times. The broccoli in the dish was fresh and not all soggy even though the food was waiting for us to eat about an hour. Will definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area. read more

Update: I agree with the other review about the restaurant going downhill. For some reason, after opening for the first time after the pandemic, it seems like the restaurant owner and chefs changed as it doesn't seem like the same as before. A hidden gem in our neighborhood. Basic American Chinese food. Best dish is the Singapore noodles. Not greasy, and oh so yummy. And lots of it, stuffed into a small sized container, but it fills up your plate at home. Go to Feng's now. Don't delay another day! read more

Honestly i can't believe i haven't reviewed them sooner! I love fancy restaurants and trying new things but sometimes you just need that go to take out place on gross rainy nights when you are exhausted after work, and this is the place! We love fengs! The staff is always friendly and accommodate my crazy husband and his insane food requests and always get our order right! The food is fresh and tasty! He loves their sesame chicken and beef and broccoli and i love their fried wings and fries, chicken in garlic sauce with mix veggies, fried rice, and vegetable mai fun. Exactly the place you should go if you're looking for Chinese takeout. Nothing amazing, but very consistent and always quick. I've had the sesame chicken, general tso's chicken, and the shrimp lo mein. My girlfriend has had the beef with string beans and shrimp with lobster sauce. Gahhhhh so disappointed! This used to be my go-to takeout joint in the hood, but I have to say that lately they've been very inconsistent. We ordered the usual chicken chow fun, young chow fried rice and chicken wings... I can look past the hairs on them wings, but both dishes were horribly over-salted. The noodles were just borderline under cooked and lacked that "wok flavor" that you can only get from using a commercial grade stove. I think I could've whipped up something tastier from my own kitchen... (I do love the steamed dumplings though, but seriously, how can you screw up steamed dumplings?) For the most part, they were pretty good for a while, but my last visit was a serious turn off. Sigh... They'll prepare most things the way you ask for them, no muss, no fuss. Ask for the Shrimp/Veggie Chow Fun -- all the little snowpeas and things are always fresh and crunchy when you get them. The Eggplant with Black Bean sauce. If I'm getting anything deep fried -- like General Tsao's -- I ask for the sauce on the side so the chicken/shrimp doesn't get soggy by the time it's delivered. I just read a post about the ambiance of the restaurant. It's a clean, order-by-the-number Chinese take-out place, not The Ritz. They splurge on the nice chopsticks, not chandeliers and fine linen. I ordered mooshoo pancakes, not mooshoo upside down cakes. When I took the food out of the bag I got mooshoo juice all over my shirt, pants, and the kitchen floor. Either someone packed my food funny or the delivery boy just doesn't care. I'm sorry I tipped him. The food itself was pretty subpar. Been going here for years and just had the worst experience in food. My staple is the butterfly shrimp and sometimes the shrimp in garlic sauce. Which ever chief they have now needs to be fired and replaced. Over salted sauce, shrimp was not fresh, didn't cook the eggs properly, too oily, just to name a few issues. Usually im safe with my orders but my God, I wouldn't even feed this food to a dog or a homeless person. Beware of ordering delivery or pickup... if you must eat there food, get it in person. I have been buying from this Chinese restaurant for some time now and I usually order through Seamless, well today I ordered and it was taking longer than usual. So I called and spoke to a woman who said the delivery guy is on his way. Still waiting no one my food was already over an half hour late so I called again asking this lady to call him, well she said he left bag at front door so I went downstairs to look there was no bag left, and if he could not get through call my number its on the receipt?? the lady went out of her way to say her guy does not lie well neither do I.
