He identified that poor drainage was causing the soil the shift, which caused minor settling in part of the house. Instead of taking the chance to quote us a major and expensive project, Andy called me the next day after consulting with his team and gave me his honest professional opinion. The damage was minor enough that the right move was to address the drainage problem first, not tear into our walls and repair a foundation that didn't need it yet. He pointed us towards drainage solutions instead. Andy's advice was straightforward and made complete sense. It's hard to find a contractor who will give you advice that's actually in your best interest. Andy did just that. I'll absolutely call Golden Retrofit if we have foundation issues down the road.
