Excellent from start to finish. The place is beautiful inside. The booths the chandeliers so ornate. Great attention to detail. Our server was such a gentleman. Very attentive. The food was perfect. Lentil soup, zaatar manakeesh and the mixed grill platter. We actually wound up have 4 meals from it. 3 dinners and one lunch. It's the kind of place that you're planning your next meal at before you even finish. The almond cake dessert was amazing too and expresso was perfect. Everything was so fresh. They also told me they've been open 27 years so they are definitely doing it right.

Ferdos Special. Chicken kabob , shish kabob, kafta kabob, tabouli, hummus, baba gannoul. My favorite.

OH MY Word Authentic, like momma made it. In love with the place, the food and the vibe are equally wonderful. Staff is gracious and welcoming. If you enjoy authentic Mediterranean food at its finest. Take it from a happy foodie. This is it. Rob

Came here for the first time and cannot recommend enough. Will be our new go to whenever I am in town. Lucy our waitress had the best recommendations for a group of three and was so friendly, we felt like family. Tried the stuffed grape leaves and kibbeh Bil as an app, the special with samples of everything and baklava. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and just absolutely amazing!

I've been driving by this restaurant for the 25 years I've lived in Ft Lauderdale. I finally gave it a try on 2/3/24. We arrived at 6pm on a Saturday night and 3 tables were occupied. In the beginning we had great service from the male server. We ordered an appetizer and entree. The server asked if we wanted it all at once or one at a time. We chose one at a time. While we waited for the appetizer another staff member brought us warm pita. There is olive oil at the table for one to dip it in. We received the Arayes appetizer 10 minutes after ordering it. It was delicious. This is when things went downhill. We waited one hour after receiving the appetizer to receive the Shawarma entree. While sitting there waiting for the entree, the staff ignored us for 45 minutes. The male who refills waters checked on us and said our entree will be out shortly. Then the female owner checked on us and said it would be coming up soon. Then the male server came to our table and told us we never ordered the Shawarma and now the owner is yelling at him because we told her we were waiting on our entree. It was so unprofessional. The entree came out about 10 minutes after the server spoke with us. The owner never apologized for the mistake or acknowledged it. The entree was delicious too, but I am staying with the 1 star rating due to the terrible and unprofessional service. They automatically add 18% gratuity to the bill, which we did pay, but felt it should have been removed.

We ordered takeout for the first time and it was excellent! We originally were going to dine in, but we were on a time crunch to go home so we popped in and ordered our meal to go. We came on a Monday night and were greeted right away. We were escorted to the bar and the hostess/server gave us a few minutes to peruse the menu. She suggested the Ferdo Special Platter to share which came with a little bit of everything; protein, rice, salad and hummus along with garlic sauce. We also ordered a side of French fries. While we waited, we enjoyed a glass of delicious Lebanese wine. Our food came out shortly after finishing our wines and we were on our way. With our short time there, the service was great and we'll definitely be back to dine in. When we get home, our food was packaged nicely and it was alllll delicious! The meats were cooked to perfection and she even gave us extra pita to enjoy. All of the flavors were fresh and plentiful and we ate the whole thing. A new Mediterranean spot to add to our rotation!

9/30/24- place was empty. But . I ordered the Tawook Chick. Platter. It came with small ramekins of garlic sauce yum, also a nice salad with a very tasty dressing. Plus hummus and pita, ( looks as if they butterfly them. ) Very thin, but good. Service was nice. By the time I left some more people arrived .

An absolute VIBE. Totally recommend this place. Free parking out front. Our orders: chicken kebab, shish kebab (med rare), hot tea, hummus, tabouleh. The music is a vibe, food was 11/10, and service was fun. I could bathe in the hummus

Ferdos is not a place I'd write out completely and hear me out. The food seemed to lack a bit of freshness and refinement in terms of plating and portion size. The portions are okay for the price but could be better at almost $20 a plate ( for example , the vegetables portion did not coincide with the rice and is personally enjoy more vegetables than parboiled rice ) for something as basic as vegetables , parboiled rice and chicken. I will upload a photo of my plate so you can take a gander. Okay here's the part where we don't write it off. This super quaint spot can be as quiet or as loud , depending on the day and parties inside of course. We went right before the dinner rush and it slowly got a bit louder. It is consistent with the taste , you can easily find that consistency in most of their dishes. The babaganoush was excellent as well as the lentils. The servers are also very pleasant and quick to help but make sure to order everything at once in case there's a huge party. Would I go back to it again? Maybe but it wasn't a space for me to remember to go back because it didn't have anything that truly made it different than most Lebanese spots.

    Beautiful lighting, traditional decor!

The food was delicious, tasty and fresh, but the service was slow, inconsistent, and harried! The decor and ambiance are very nice. If you like or haven't tried Lebanese food, stop in and check it out! We were a group of 20+ so that may have been the service issue. They needed at least one more server for us. However, the food was so good I'd definitely recommend dining here. I'll be back with my family!

Not great. We ended up cooking the chicken a bit longer; it didn't look fully cooked. Fatoush salad had a good taste and hummous was good.

The first thing we noticed, which was a bit unexpected, was the decor. The ambiance was really nice and inviting. This is the type of restaurant where someone could host a party. The service was really good too. We received water almost immediately after being seated, and our server came by shortly after. The manager stopped by throughout our visit to provide recommendations, and he was really nice. It made the experience feel more personal. For our appetizer, we ordered the Baba Ghannouj, which complemented the pita bread really well. It was our first time having it, and we did not know what to expect, but it was great. It was really flavorful, and we finished it wanting more. For our entrees, we had the Lamb Chops and the Seafood Tagine. The lamb chops were great. It was not a huge portion, but the meat was flavorful and cooked well. The presentation was also really nice. The Seafood Tagine looked great, and the sauce was incredibly flavorful. Everything about the dish worked well together, and we felt that all the flavors complemented one another. There was a good harmony between the ingredients. For dessert, we ordered the Kunafa, which was another first for us. We had never had it before, but the description really sold us on it. It was really good. This is the kind of dessert that is best shared since it is a little heavy. Toward the end of our visit, a belly dancer came out to perform, and it was really exciting. La Vie is a great restaurant, and we will definitely return. We felt as though we got a true Mediterranean experience during our visit.

For our entrees we got chicken tagine and lamb chops. I must say the lamb chops were phenomenal. Perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. I definitely recommend getting them medium.
