Came for Sunday brunch. It was busy with about 30 minute wait list. We walked around the, lots to see and shop at their cool little store. Food was great I got the duck cassoulet and hubby got the pulled pork benny. Service was good. The restaurant and location is super pretty. Worth the stop if you're in the area.
A unique location and the building was modern and chic. The outdoor setting was great to enjoy some cold beer. The food did not disappoint. The mushroom tempura with kimchi garnish was off the charts with flavour. The mushroom flavour was not lost when mixed with the strong accompaniments. The bison-pork smash had just the right amount of gaminess but was not dry. Really enjoyed it. I am dying to know where they source their sourdough. Their buttered sourdough toast was also a joy to eat.
Fergie's Cafe checks on all points for the coziest brunch in Squamish. Although a little further off the main roads, this gem is in its own little corner of Squamish and the rush of the river adds a nice charm to this cafe. The food is, for a lack of better words, delicious! And it's everything you want or need for brunch. Service was excellent and we found that it's open all year round! Can't wait to try it out in the winter!
Everyone RAVED about this place so we had really high expectations and while they were met, we weren't BLOWWWWWN AWAY (to the point where I would still think of the dishes). That being said, the view is nice and the staff are friendly. The menu is one of those where every dish sounds delish and nothing could taste bad. It's truly a PNW local ingredient kind of "farm-to-table" vibe even if it might not fully be the case. Anyways, we got the BBQ Asado Hash and The Coastal Benedict. Both were tasty and carried all their flavors perfectly.
A cozy restaurant north of Squamish, with many places to take photos, is excellent for brunch. The food was remarkable, with lots of unique options. I had the Eggs 'Al Forno' and squash soup, which hit the mark with taste and flavour. The staff is friendly and quick, and they can give you some great options if you like. With different cottage-like rooms to eat, it's an experience that you have to try.
The food was to die for! The salmon Benny with a gluten free English muffin was hands down my Favorite eggs Benny I've ever eaten! The wait on a Saturday was quite long - approx 1 hour to get a table. They do not offer take out. But, we did hear that they were short staffed in the kitchen that day. They offer lots of seating inside, and outside where you can bring your dog, as well. They even have some tables for you to enjoy coffee while you wait for your table.
Fergie's Cafe is a good pit stop for anyone going to Whistler or beyond. It is tucked away in the heart of the town and offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor is charming, featuring a mix of rustic and modern elements that create a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. It's clear that they take pride in providing excellent customer service. :) Now, let's talk about the food. We went there for brunch and I must say, their brunch menu has a variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. I opted for the fried oyster mushroom karaage, and it exceeded my expectations. The flavors were fresh, and the presentation was artful, showcasing a commitment to quality ingredients. However, all of their other dishes were also very good (according to my friends). I also tried their golden milk toddy which was essentially turmeric milk, but boozy. Was a little disappointed with this one because it didn't taste like anything really and the taste of turmeric was too strong. I left with a satisfied palate, a full stomach, and I can't wait to stop by here again on my next visit to Squamish!
It 's been 7 years since my last review and we stop here (just about) every year on our way home from Whistler-Blackcomb - it has become tradition. I found Fergie's the first year off of Yelp and we've been able to see it grow and flourish. It is now far from the humble little cottage with a small dining area that we first experienced. They now have a modern, 2-story structure with exposed steel beams and Squamish-fitting decor. They also have a cozy annex for extra seating with a wood stove, adjacent sofas, and plenty of tables. When you arrive on a busy weekend day like we did, you get on the list and are then free to explore. They have a little playground for the kids. An excellent phone experience shows you your approximate wait and place in line. We waited about an hour. The wait staff are friendly, genuine, and helpful. We're always seated with a smile, promptly served pitchers of water, and asked about more interesting drink options. Although the menu varies, we come here for the eggs Benedict where they are conceived with creativity - it is hard to just choose one. My spouse and each pick one we know each other would like and swap plates half way through. I'd like to add that the prices aren't really all that crazy for how nice a restaurant it is. It isn't cheap, but after eating at "high end" places at Whistler, it feels like a deal.
Loved the scenery of this unique cafe by the river and in the woods . Located on the Sunwolf lodge grounds . The Bison smashburger I had was tasty and the fries good . The building had a great rustic bit modern design . My only critique was the server could not do separate billing in my group and it's a bit presumptuous to have only tip choices on their pos machine of only 18% and up .
Great service and food after a morning photographing eagles and landscapes in the cold. We beat the rush for Lunch so had minimal wait time. I had the crispy portobello mushroom burger which had a nice balance of spice and cooling cucumber. Others in our group had pulled pork Benedict and The Elaho. Generous servings and the smoked potato hash is amazing. Our take away of the hash was great the next morning.
When you drive by this place you won't think this is at all a sit down restaurant. Once you're in and see the signs you'll get guided to the upstairs or downstairs areas that do provide great views. The drive alone is worth what you get because of the nature and the scenery but the food makes it a fantastic experience. I did not expect this quality at all and I really enjoyed it. The service was somewhat transactional but that's ok. Rather have that than overly friendly or too much. Highly recommend this place!!!
What a beautifully tucked away cafe with amazing food. I had heard nothing but good things and I was not disappointed. The food was tasty, prepared quickly and the service was great. It's only an added bonus that the grounds and surrounding river and view are breathtaking. I hope to visit again.
This cafe and space was a pleasant surprise to experience since my 16 year old pup Fergie passed away recently. The wait to be seated was about 45 minutes, but there are things to do on the property to pass the time like order a drink at the little Airbus cafe, visit the greenhouse merch store, or play on the playground. For a party of 3 we ordered a lot, maybe too much food since we had leftovers of everything but it was all delicious. For drinks we ordered the Chai Latte, Vegan Hot Chocolate, and Fergie's Hot Chocolate. This Chai Latte was probably the best that I've ever had in my life, it was so fragrant and smooth. The Vegan Hot Chocolate and Fergie's Hot Chocolate were sweet and decadent, but didn't quite pair well with the food so I chugged it all in the beginning. The first dish to come out was the soup of the day: Oxtail Soup drizzled with cream, and it came with 2 slices of sourdough bread. We devoured this since we were all pretty hungry. What I like to call "the Ferg Burger" (Bison and Pork Smash Burger) and Black Pudding (like a pan fried blood sausage) came out next, along with the Smoked Duck Cassoulet (resembled stuffing but it had crunchy bits), King Oyster Mushroom Karaage (was too sweet for my liking), and last was the Brioche French Toast (the candied walnuts gave variety to the texture). My favorite was the Ferg Burger, it was cooked to perfection, had a lot of flavor, and overall a solid burger. I was hoping for more flavor in the Smoked Duck Cassoulet but to me it was a bit bland. Would probably skip the King Oyster Mushroom Karaage since the sauce drizzled on it is like a sweet chili sauce, it was too sweet for my preference, I was hoping it would be served as a savory dish with the sauce on the side to dip. This is definitely a place where everything is made to order, and you take your time eating and enjoying the view and crisp air. I would definitely come back to show my friends this space. I really enjoy how they use the land and I appreciated all the little goodies in the greenhouse merch store. I left with a Fergie mug :0)

Haven't been here since they closed and was so excited to come re-visit! The lower gravel lot is now closed off to traffic and replaced with picnic tables and there is a whole new building that houses the kitchen as well as a modern new building with indoor seating and lots of picnic tables spread out along the property. The food is as good or better than before! This is what we had: Alpha bowl- veg fritters, avocado, quinoa and kale base, assorted grilled veggies and toast potatoes topped off with a poached egg. The flavours work well together and. Oils easily be made vegan. Very filling and healthy. Pulled pork hash- lots of tasty tender pulled pork overtop roast potatoes and accompanied with grilled veggies and a sunny side up egg and a side of sourdough toast Elaborate- more like your traditional breakfast but better. Comes with a very plump sausage, two eggs and thick sliced double smoked bacon, toast potatoes and a side of sourdough toast. The spicy beans were fantastic! Locally sourced, always fresh and well executed, a great spot for brunch until 3pm. Service with a smile! read more
Went here on a Sunday morning around 930am after a short hike in Squamish. First you'll give your name and number to one server and they will give you an estimate wait time. We were told for 2 people 15-30 minutes. If we didn't receive a text within 30 minutes we should go to a second tent and let them know we were waiting. My service wasn't good so I never received a text. While waiting we went along the river and walked around there. 30 minutes had passed and we went to the second tent. We were told they had tables but they were still cleaning up. We waited another 15 minutes and finally got seated. Patience is key! If you have a tight schedule I don't recommend going here just because of time. But in terms of the food. It was delicious!!!! We ordered 3 items, actually 4 but they never brought the coffee out. Anyways, the 3 main dishes were the coastal (trout Benny), the forager (mushroom Benny) and the brisket biscuit. I highly recommend all of these dishes. I was wondering if I was just very hungry and so I enjoyed the dishes anyways but no. They really were flavorful, fresh bennys. I want to go back even with the wait. Maybe I'll time it better and go when they open. I definitely think this is a great spot to check out in the Squamish area for brunch and if you have time. read more

You must come here for comfort brunch/lunch at Fergie's Cafe. We were on our way back to Vancouver planning to have brunch/lunch somewhere and we found ourselves parking in a dirt parking lot and walking on a board walk towards Fergie's Cafe. There are outdoor and indoor seating available. The staff was super friendly and followed Covid measurements: texting us when our table is ready, looking at menu on our phone, and having separate table close by to place our food to pick up. We had: -Dubliner eggs benedict - was deliciously different than traditional eggs benedict. The poached eggs were on top of buttermilk biscuits. It also had smoked bacon, apple (made it refreshing) and cheese. This was perfect comfort food as it started to rain (we were sitting inside) on a summer day. - Pull pork hash - I had a bite of this and if you are looking for flavourful oh so good pulled pork hash with healthy fresh in season vegetables (cauliflower, potatoes, kale, carrots etc...) blended with poached eggs, this is the one! Totally unassuming place. The aesthetic here is what they capitalize on and honestly it comes off as a bit arrogant. The food was decent but I felt the attitude was a bit over the top. We stopped at Fergies on our way up to Whistler for lunch. Our crowd could not have been more pleased. Fergies is off the beaten path, tucked away down by the river. The whole vibe was absolutely perfect! We knew we would be eating at Whistler Village the rest of the week and was in search of something with a little B.C. pizazz. Something different from the city or resort style setting. Our party of 9 was seated instantly in the downstairs patio area where our server built a fire to keep us warm and took our order. The food!! Oh my goodness one of the best meals I had in the 9 days we were in B.C. The freshness, the seasoning, the presentation, I am far from a foodie but this place hit the mark with my whole crowd. If you are headed up to Whistler don't miss out on your chance to take in the nature, enjoy the space this amazing little cafe takes up and treat yourself to some of the best food you won't soon forget. read more
This cafe is a local favorite. The location is a little hard to find but I'm so glad we stopped by on the way there. There are plenty of seats and we were able to get a table for 12. We came here for brunch and there was a fair wait - about an hour however they will continue to serve brunch just as long as your get on the waitlist before they close. We ended up getting the Dubliner and French Toast. R thought the Dubliner was only okay as the mustard with apples felt like an odd pairing. I thoroughly enjoyed the French Toast but did wish there was more pistachio and nuts. Overall still quite delicious and a good place for brunch. They also have a spectacular property (Sunwolf) which we may need to look at staying at in the future. read more

Really wanted to love this place and give it 5 stars. Its truly a hidden gem with mostly outdoor seating, delicious breakfast, the river in the background and a playground for kids. Had the smoked trout benny which was delicious. The potatoes were tasty by heavy. The gluten free bread sub $ was a bit steep but was good. Minus 1 star because of our server and I really think maybe an off day or had we had someone else this wouldn't be the case. I had a special request for my picky kid eater for eggs (flattened scrambled egg) rather than an actual scramble but she basically said no they wouldn't do it, without asking. It should be an easy request. The kids meal came with the skimpiest eggs and was mostly potatoes with 2 pieces of fruit. When asking for seperate bills, the response was "no we don't do that the front should have told you". Aside from this though, it's recommended it. read more

This place was recommended to us by our Air BnB host. Came on a Friday for brunch and we were seated right away; granted it was a rainy day in September. If you are on your way to Squamish or Whistler or even if you just want to have some delicious food in the middle of nature, this is the place to be. There is a river that flows right next to it and you can see snow capped peaks behind the trees while you enjoy the delicious food. I am not a big fan of avacado but this place converted me. I have tried various dishes over different visits and I am yet to find something I didn't like. The popularity of the place can be inferred from the hour-long wait times on the weekends and holidays. The staff is cordial and very efficient. I would definitely recommend it. read more

Way off the beaten path, nestled between the mountains beside a quiet stream, on the other side of who knows where, is Fergie's... A fantastic treasure hidden away from the rat race! Fergie's Cafe is a gorgeous brunch spot located in pretty much the middle of nowhere (Squamish ) and yet there's extremely high traffic at this cozy little cafe due to the delicious and amazing brunch they offer! After seeing Fergie's all over Instagram, I decided to finally swing by after a nearby camping trip. We had a group of 7 and after arriving around 11AM on a Thursday, we waited around 30 minutes before sitting down. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt with taking our order and before long the drinks were out. The chai tea latte was delicious and refreshing but what really stole the show was their mouth watering brunch dishes. My boyfriend and I shared the truffle mushroom toast and the dubliner benny (not pictured because I was so hungry I missed a picture of it oops....) and we both thoroughly enjoyed the flavours of each dish. The dubliner benny featured very delicious creamed leeks that complemented the truffle hollandaise sauce perfectly. The truffle mushroom was moist and fragrant and combined with the poached eggs and BBQ hash...it was heaven. They also had a house made hot sauce that really stole the show! We were very keen on trying to buy the sauce but unfortunately they weren't selling any at the moment. :( My friends also really enjoyed their dishes - I had the chance to sample a bit of the pulled pork hash and it was quite yummy. The pork is a bit sweeter than a typical pulled pork dish and it comes with two slices of deliciously buttered toast. Overall, Fergie's is one of the best brunch places I've ever been to and the only sad thing I can say is why is it so far away from home?! read more
We waited about 20 minutes to be seated on a Sunday around 11am - i was expecting a much longer wait so this was a nice surprise. The staff were friendly and accommodating when we asked to move tables due to it being too sunny in the area we were originally seated. Their menu is not too big but they have all the brunch staples. After we placed our order, there was a bit of a wait for the food, but that was understandable since the restaurant was packed. I tried to smoked salmon benny which was delicious and filling. Stopped for brunch in Squamish and this place was recommended. It was a great choice. Very popular place as evident by the full parking lot and cars parked along the street. We were greeted and put on a wait list but were seated in 15 min. There was a small trailer on site which served coffee and pastries so that was a nice way to wait for our table. We had a dog with us and there is a large, covered area where you can eat with your pet. The food was served promptly. We split the Pulled Pork Benny. I would get it again. Fergie's feels like it's in the middle of the forest. It's a gem but not a secret. The wait for brunch is pretty long on a weekend - 35 minutes for the heated patio, and 45 minutes for the inside, but it is worth the wait. Plus, their operations are pretty seamless - line up, give your number, walk around the river and wait for their call. Everything we ordered was divine - hearty, fresh, comforting and just perfect. The stuffed French toast with the berry compote was just out of this world. Five stars and then some. read more

Fergie's cafe is classic brunch food with amazing aesthetics. We sat outside and there was a heater, but it was windy and the heater didn't do much. The food was great - unfussy staples like eggs Benedict, hash, and French toast. Hot chocolate was the star of the show - creamy, not too sweet, and topped with a dollop of whipped cream that complemented it perfectly. Would not recommend sitting outside on a chilly day, but I can imagine that the immaculate campsite vibe would be second to none on a warm Summer's day. read more

I got the alpha bowl and the elaho with a dirty chai latte. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I could taste the freshness. We got seated at a bar top with an amazing view of the river and the mountain. Our pilot at sea to sky air, Alex, recommended this place and highly praised this place. Tried the smoked salmon Benny and their special at the time (I forgot what if was sorry!!!!) at Fergie's. The salmon Benny was definitely the standout. Defs one of the best eggs bennies I've ever had. Plus the BBQ hash that comes with the bennies is soooo good. The outdoor sitting area at fergies is so quaint. We sat on the patio for our meal which offered nice views. While we were waiting for our table we took a stroll to the river right beside the restaurant which was extremely beautiful and a nice way to pass the time. Highly recommend ! read more
BEAUTIFUL ALL PATIO RESTAURANT . In Squamish is this beautiful restaurant which specializes in outdoor seating/patio. They have lots of seats both heated and not heated but sheltered. Perfect for dates or family meals because they have a nice "park" connected which is perfect for kids to run around in. * Swipe all the way for the menu! * 2X Elaho ($18.50/each) ~ apple and pork sausage is a super unique sausage which surprisingly complimented the bbq beans and mushrooms. There were 2 nicely made sunny side eggs which really help bring the dish together. The bbq hash potatoes were super crispy and well seasoned. * New Dublin Benedict ($19) ~ truffle hollandaise sauce was so nice and creamy! Rich in truffle but paired well with the smoked bacon and leeks! Also comes with the bbq hash potatoes. The Benedict was super good and it's something I'd get again. We also added a side of avocado (+$3). * London fog ($4.75) ~ this was the best London fog I've had in a while. Super creamy and delicious. Good flavours too! Highly recommend it! * Fergie's hot chocolate ($5) ~ richest hot chocolate ever! Imagine drinking a rich thick chocolate bar! For all the crazy sweet out there I highly recommend you take the challenge and see if you can finish this because I couldn't. Even the whipped cream was the lightest thing about it. * Also got brewed coffee ($3.50). * 8/10 ~ overall a pretty good breakfast place with an amazing atmosphere. I'd come back again if I was in the area. * 6/10 ~ it ain't cheap here! Especially with the drinks you can expect the bill to rack up. Don't recommend adding the avocado to the dishes not worth it and you get very little. Total bill before tip: $75.86. * 10/10 ~ one way throughout the restaurant, mask required, opened seating and good social distancing. read more

Lovely setup. Long line. Prepare to have a 2.5 hour experience for walk up service. If you are not in any kind of hurry then this place is a haven to relax in once you've placed your order. They do have a sign out front that lets you know how long of a wait it will be from that point forward. That being said we had a leisurely morning here and really enjoyed ourselves. I ordered the veggie bowl and shared this with my friend who ordered the avocado Benedict. Both were delicious but the bowl was the winner in my book. We also had cappuccinos to keep us warm while we waited in line. I purchased a couple of muffins and amaze balls for the hike we were set to go on later and then sat down to wait for the meal. Once seated it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. Everything was cooked to perfection and I highly recommend coming here in the summer for the freshest, most delicious brunch meal. read more
Great place for brunch where you least expect it. I love small towns that are able to support restaurants that go the extra mile to offer great food. To my surprise Fergie's cafe has been around for about 12 years already but it is a little off the beaten track, but now that we have discovered it we will definitely keep it along our top choices when we are looking for brunch or lunch when we are in the area. When we got there we had to line up to be seated but it was a warm day and there was ample outdoor seating so the line went quickly as it was just a matter to taking people to a table. We ate at the counter in the shipping container which was nicely transformed into a spacious dining room. I had the Coastal Eggs Benny and my partner had The Elaho. We were told that the place had a fire a few years ago and it has been rebuilt with a modern flare, which added to the surprise. The food matched the simple but upscale modern decor and we devoured our brunch. The smoked fish that came with my Coastal was cold as it should be but the eggs and hollandaise could have been hotter. That is my only very small disappointment and the flavours were fantastic and my overall opinion is that this place deserves the five stars given. There was no problem with the temperature of the Elaho. The restaurant was very busy so I cut them some slack on that basis too. I am eager to go back to try the French toast. read more

I have stopped at Fergie's a few times. Every time has been stellar. This particular day they were almost closing and they seated us with no hesitation. We ordered quickly and were served promptly also. Their lower seating was closed in for the cold weather and they also provided fleece blankets for your lap. I have never had a bad item. So cute too! A must eat place when visiting Squamish! read more

Amazing brunch sport near a river! Very beautiful and rustic ambiance, if it's nice, definitely sit outside! Great service and very nice staff. I ordered the breakfast combo (forgot the name) but came with Italian sausage, bacon, two eggs and hash browns. It was delicious, and not too salty or oily. The hash browns were crunchy and golden brown. My gf ordered the pulled pork hash browns and she loved em. The pulled pork was mouth watering and honestly I wish I got it instead . Overall one of my favorite restaurants in Squamish - a must visit for a great overall experience! read more

This place is 'off the charts' great food! Locally sourced, high quality ingredients, including local coffee roasters "Galileo"; flavours are as amazing as the colours on your plate! Breakfast/Brunch elevated to a 'must try this' level! Can't rave enough. Try the Elaho plate or the Dubliner (eggs benny). Rustic setting, but WELL worth the search!! read more
