She took time and showed genuine interest in us and our Bathroom project and was especially helpful in finding a different faucet when the first one did not work out. This review reflects my experience as a customer researching different lighting options for a home. I have not purchased anything from Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery yet, but my partner and I visited last weekend to look at lighting to go above our dining room table. I was very impressed with the show room when we arrived, and it seems like they offer lighting across price ranges - there were a few beautiful pieces on sale that were affordable and seemed like a great value, which really excited both of us! We were greeted immediately when we came in, and the sales associate asked whether there was anything specific they could help us with. Since this was just a looking trip, we declined to be walked through the store, but we were checked on several times and had many of our questions answered throughout our shopping trip by the helpful staff. We're looking forward to returning in a few months when we have a better vision for our dining room and know exactly what we want. read more

OK I'm gonna break it down. Number one their location has not been updated on Apple Maps. Not a terrible deal but not that hard to fix. I only drove around for a half an hour trying to find out their actual location. Also they don't give me their local number. And corporate is less than friendly or helpful. Also when you get there their doors are locked. I get it they're all scared of Covid but they're the only place in town that still has their doors locked. When I went there to pick out some things for a new construction build they acted like they've never had children come they didn't have seating arranged or were even prepared for our visit. This seems like a tired corporate business who has no motivation. It's crucial to be excited and to help people design their homes oh. I would never do business with that again. I was looking for a light fixture for our new bar. I dropped off my kids for a birthday party that was next to them so I thought I'd go in & if I found something I'll order it. As you walk in, their staff will look at you from distance to try to see if you're worth helping or not. No one will talk to you or assist you. When I asked for help, I got treated with rudeness and felt out of place that the lady cut me off and just walked away. I just walked out and NEVER AGAIN!!!!! No one should be treated this way regardless of how they look! Shopping for your house should be fun and enjoyable. Regardless of what your sell or how you do it, no one would want to walk in your doors if you're rude, short, and unhelpful, especially not in Iowa! read more

First of all, this is a really lovely showroom. I wanted a shower system for our new bath and the big box stores had components, but I couldn't figure out how to put it all together (we wanted an overhead and a hand-held shower with a chrome bar). Ferguson's had a great selection and they even have a shower room where they can demo a few of the systems. The quality is above and beyond what I saw at the big box stores. We LOVE our new shower!! Also, five stars for the customer service. We had trouble installing some of the trim for our shower and they spent about 45 minutes trying to help me figure out what went wrong. They even called Kohler to help troubleshoot . We finally found the problem all long distance via pictures on my phone and some help with Kohler. Remodeling is so stressful - I am so grateful to the team at Ferguson's for taking some of the pressure off. Thank you!! read more

Horrible experiences. We've had Ar-Jay work on multiple projects for us. There have been problems with each project. The work has been sloppy and amateurish. Actually, had I done the work myself, as a non-handyman, I would not have done such a poor job. They don't appear to take any pride in their work, and they don't seem to have any professional standards, either in the work they do or the way they do business. They leave messes all over the place. They don't pay attention to detail. Their communication is horrible -- don't expect a call back or a visit when it's scheduled, and don't expect them to let you know they'll be late or have to change plans. They come back to fix things...only to leave some other problem behind. SUMMARY: Don't have these guys do any work for you. They're nice guys, but that just makes it harder to have to call them out on how lousy their work. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I was just looking for kitchen cabinet hardware, not a whole kitchen remodel, yet they treated me and my project as if it were a big deal. I had no problem getting an appointment, didn't mind the Covid precautions they were still implementing, and everyone was courteous and very helpful. Sabrina was very patient with me, answering all my questions, allaying any doubts I had and sending me photos to show what my project would look like. There was a delay with shipment, as is standard these days, yet she kept me up to date on what was happening and notified me the minute my hardware arrived in the showroom. I would hight recommend Ferguson's and especially Sabrina. read more

We stopped in for the first time today. Beautiful facility, but the service was lacking to say the least. We inquired about the fireplaces and they said that there was no one working that could help. On a Saturday really? Then when looking at the appliances there was a representative in that area that seemed uninterested in helping us. He never left his chair to great us or help us. Very disappointing visit. Made the drive down, but won't go back! read more

Terrible place to do business! We went through KBD in iowa city for our fireplace and a 2 day job took 5 months! We ended up getting LEGAL ADVICE and having a much more reliable group "FIX" and finish the job. No communication with this place and very, very, very poor quality of workmanship! Even when I called to speak with the hire ups they were very rude! We will never recommend this place to anyone! Negative rating stars would be our choice! read more

After installing a $3500 fireplace in our family room the temp dropped to 50 degrees. They including the owner said this was how it should be. We had to hire another contractor to corect the problem as they were unwilling to stand behind there work. Funny thing is the other contractor was able to fix Ar-Jay's lousy installation. Good layout with potential as a great local store.... customer service was terrible though. Placed an order and when i went to pickup had to nearly beg to get help. Several employees noticed me waiting for help but did not want to acknowledge my presence, finally after asking several people for help and being told to go here or there, a warehouse man was kind enough to point out to one of the gals there that i could use some help.
