Went in about 6 months ago with my 05 CTS-V to get my mufflers installed. They charged me 220 just for leaky welds. Went in this June with my female friend with the exact same car and they tried charging 300. I asked why it's more expensive for hers, didn't get an answer and then gave her a quote for 220. read more

Took in my car for a stainless steel exhaust kit install because I new there was going to have to be some light modifications made. They were able to tuck the exhaust under the car to give me as much clearance as possible. The welds and finish work are amazing, I will come back when I need more exhaust work. It wasn't cheap, but it was done correctly which is what matters to me. I'm willing to pay for good work that doesn't have to be redone later on. read more

Just go to Rey's Muffler in San Jo, they wanted 300-400 to install my exhaust would suggest going somewhere else I guess since Watsonville is small so he or they are price gauging. read more

I brought in my car here with brand new direct fit catalytic converters after the boss confirmed with me that they would fit, I left the car overnight and came back the next day to the news that they modified them to fit which i had no idea about never got a call or anything and the worst part was that they didn't fit properly that it was an issue with the manufacturer "magnaflow" so they just installed them like that and according to them they didn't know about an issue until it was turned on. I wasn't happy about not being notified once about anything only come pick it up as is. I show up to the shop and the owner is no where to be found so his worker helps me and they aren't much help just telling me that i would have to speak to the fernando. my plan was to come back the next day but the shop was closed on a sunday "just my luck" and as im driving from picking my car up the day before from the shop my car starts smoking and blew an upper radiator hose leaving me stranded far from a shop or home. I come back to the shop the next day on a monday and i spoke to fernando after everything happened and according to him it was a coincidence that they didn't touch anything that has to do with the coolant system at all and that they couldn't do anything since i bought my own cats. i took a fat L on this one thinking that they could get the job done for the price i paid which wasn't cheap just for there labor. Moral of the story if you need work on european cars just take your money elsewhere to a more professional, reliable shop cause my experience here wasn't it. read more

This guy rocks. Went in last Minute first thing when they opened. There was already a line!! He busted out 2 cars ahead of mine. Excellent service, great communication and a fair price. Showed up on a Saturday around 9:30am and was told I was next. Owner Fernando is the one that does the work and whom I spoke with. He finished the exhaust job he was working on and started right away on my exhaust. I had a muffler replaced with another I had already purchased online myself. Fernando did a excellent job and his welding looks good. I waited about an hour and was back on the road before 11am. No problems, no bs, just straight forward and at a super reasonable rate. They are located in the Pajaro city limits (passed the bridge), on the right hand side. You have to look very carefully for their sign because there are quite a few mechanic shops in the immediate vicinity. Great place to have any muffler work done. Found this place based on the reviews. I called Fernando and told me he could see me the same day. When I arrived, Fernando was very friendly and intermediately proceed to inspect my vehicle and quoted me a reasonable price to fix and replace some worn out parts that came detached from the front of the engine. He asked me to come back in 1.5 Hrs, but he end up calling me in 1 to let me know my car was ready. A week later, the car still runs smooth and no longer sounds like a race car. Vehicle simply needed new manual transmission. My car wasn't just missing floor mats after returning it worked for only a week until the engine presented an issue. Vehicle has no previous issues. I can only assume the work performed was dishonest "fix one thing break another" type philosophy. I would never recommend for anyone to go to this mechanic. I chose this shop because the estimate on a transmission repair was $200 less than the other shop I had scouted. I wish I'd gone with the more reviewed higher priced shop. As it's going to be a much more expensive repair now.. Fernando is a scam artist. If you want an honest mechanic do not go here! read more

You get what you pay for he was the cheapest in town I should've known better had him put a set of headers on and do the exhaust and three weeks later the exhaust rattled off the headers because the three bolts fell out when I took it back to give him a chance to make it right he told me to go buy the parts and bring it back to him that that sort of thing happens all the time at his shop incompetent unskilled, and no integrity to boot read more
