Don't be deterred by the outside.... This place is awesome! First off... the service was better here than some very high class restaurants I've frequented. Our waitress was also the cashier, and the only one we saw... yet she just did her job with kindness, didn't act rushed or like she had so much going on.it was such a breath of fresh air! We actually didn't get pizza because we don't eat bread that often... however I will say that was the most fresh minestrone I think I've ever had. It was a true minestrone, not just "throw everything in". The meatball was melt in your mouth tender.i mostly ate that! My husband devoured his chicken parm too. If you do eat bread, do t skimp on it because it's freshly made! Excellent price point and beautiful scenery.

On our father-sons road trip to Eureka we stopped at this charming little town to grab something to eat. Thankfully, our Airbnb host recommended this place to us and we are glad that she did. First and foremost the ambiance was welcoming and the food was delicious. Honestly, one could taste the freshly made pizza and chicken! Our waitress was on point with the service and we left with happy bellies and good memories!

Excellent eggplant parmesan and lasagna. Large portions. Casual atmosphere. They have a salad bar, and the pizzas look good. Fast and friendly service.

I loved the pizza. Hot. Fresh. Fast. Great customer service. Friendly. Great atmosphere. Clean. Restrooms were clean.

Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see.

When my boyfriend and I walked into this quaint and inviting establishment we had no idea how incredible the experience we would have would be. We ordered two personal pizzas, and let me tell you; every bite had me absolutely floored and almost on the verge of tears. I have never been so moved by a pizza before. I will be thinking about this place until the next time I come. Thank you.

    This was all I could eat...of a $45 pizza...

I ordered a simple combination pizza with bell peppers, onions, sausage, mushrooms, pepperoni's and bacon. What I got I don't know. I don't blame the employees, HOWEVER the owner NEEDS to make some changes. Please use FRESH ingredients i.e. real Bell peppers that were raw not in a can would be amazing! Also when making a pizza throw down some cheese on top of the sauce, THEN add the toppings otherwise if you try to pick off something (like the canned bell peppers) the whole thing doesn't come apart.

September 11, 2025 - Fortuna, CA…read more Walking distance from our RV park, we decided to give this restaurant a try. We came in early on a Thursday and were greeted with attentive, cheerful service. Seated in a comfortable booth, we were quickly brought menus and warm garlic bread. The restaurant itself has a welcoming, relaxed vibe. The drink special was a blueberry martini, and it turned out to be both beautiful and delicious. For dinner, we decided to split the lasagna and added an extra dinner salad, along with a bottle of Robert Mondavi Cabernet to share. Both the salad and lasagna were enjoyable, and the wine paired nicely with the meal. By the time we were finishing up, the restaurant was starting to fill, so we were glad we opted for an early dinner.

We were seated immediately by a very friendly server and given menus and some nice warm garlic bread. They had a blueberry martini special , which sounded pretty tasty, so my wife and I each got one. It's a very comfortable atmosphere with nice music playing in the background. They have a full bar as well as some limited bar seating. We decided to split the lasagna, which comes with a dinner salad. They have a five dollar split charge, which we are always happy to pay to have our meals come out on two separate plates. We also ordered a separate dinner salad. We also ordered a bottle of the Robert Mondavi black label Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon to go with the meal. Everything, including the martinis, dinner, salads, and lasagna we're very tasty. The Robert Mondavi wine was a good pairing for the lasagna.

The place was pretty busy at 8pm and we sat outside since we had our pup with us. I ordered 3 oysters as an app. I had just read that Humboldt Bay provided a large percentage of the oysters consumed in CA and NV so figured I should order some since we're so close to the source! I was surprised when I slurped it down and it was warm but they were delicious and the sauce on top was very flavorful. (That was my fault for not reading the description well enough; I'm just accustomed to eating oysters chilled) For entree's, I went with the Polenta Veghie lasagna and my husband ordered the Italian Mac n cheese. Both dishes were very good and very filling. I loved the crust of the polenta and the eggplant and cheese filling was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the coziness and warmth of the interior. Great spot for dinner, I'm glad I chose this restaurant!

There's a big party room for meetings or parties, and a game room with arcade games off to the side - accessible by stairs only so my son couldn't go in. In addition to pizza and pasta, they have sandwiches, calzones, and a fresh salad bar, not a ton of toppings but enough of everything I like to make me happy. My family and I ordered a large pizza w/ half sizzling bbq chicken & half Babe's Combo, a spaghetti and AYCE salad bar. The pizza was amazing, I loved the bbq chicken and the crust was super yum. Even my husband commented that the pizza was good and he doesn't usually make comments about pizza unless it's really bad. However, the spaghetti was missing some salt/herbs so it was bland for my personal taste. Salad ingredients were fresh, and I went back about 3 times as my family kept wanting more. The best part about Babe's was the people working here. Everyone was nice, but especially the lady who took my order, she was so so nice! Actually honestly, everyone I've come across in Eureka has been so friendly and kind, from the gas station, to the Target...it's been a great experience interacting with the people here. But the lady at Babe's just made my day, and unfortunately I didn't catch her name, but Babe's is so lucky to have her! There needs to be more Eureka kindness in this world.

We pulled into Bigfoot country at about 8:15 PM on a Saturday. We were staying at the motel across…read morethe street and hadn't eaten since about 1 in the afternoon, so myself, my Celiac partner, and my kids were pretty hungry. An app for gluten-free people said that the Pizza Factory did a decent job of keeping things safe for gluten allergic people, although to be honest, we had the grocery store down the street as our more-than-likely backup plan to get food for her. When we went in, it was dimly lit, but very spacious, and had a lot of cool local items on the wall that spoke to the hunting and fishing aspect of the region. We approached the counter and explained the allergy my partner had. The young man was incredible. He said that he couldn't guarantee a completely gluten-free kitchen, as it was a pizzeria (he gestured about at this, to emphasize, but it was very appropriate and actually rather amusing). He did say, however, that instead of himself and the other kitchen worker preparing the pizza, the employee who was doing prep and clean-up would prep the pizza in an area off to the side and handle all the pizza prep. After we ordered, he called out to everyone to ensure that both the people working in the back knew we had a gluten allergy pizza coming. That was very reassuring and gave my partner a chance to really enjoy her food without anxiety. As to the food itself, it was very good. The pizza was doughy with plenty of cheese and toppings on it. My boys ate quite a bit (with the rest finished off early the next morning). We got an order of breadsticks, which I was not too impressed with because they didn't have much flavor to it, and the sauce cup was the same pizza sauce, but it wasn't bad and it was exactly what I ordered. I would have just preferred a heavier garlicy type taste to them. That being said, that's my preference rather than a failing on behalf of the restaurant. My partner loved her chicken, sun dried tomato, and artichoke pizza, and ate, in her word, "way more than [she] should have, but damn!" The guy also threw in a the sodas for us, because we had driven all day and it was near closing. Great experience, great food, and no safety issues at all. The next time we go Bigfoot hunting around here, we're definitely stopping here for pizza.
