If I could give these guys 10 stars, I would. My wife was leaving the home of a friend who was dying from cancer, and she was sideswiped by a teenager who was talking on her phone. She was frazzled by the double-whammy, so when a tow-truck showed up at the scene and offered to take her car to the dealership for her, she agreed. Instead, they took it to their own lot, and held it hostage for an immense amount of money from our insurance company. It's called bandit towing, and was awful. I called Steve and Jeff here at Ferrari Brothers, the place that our dealership, Bob Smith Toyota, works with. They were amazing. They did everything they could to help us during what was a very trying time, from trying to help get the car out of the hands of this scummy tow-truck company, to expediting the repair because it was held hostage for so long, to even calling Geico and trying to get us an extension on our rental car, because we'd lost so much time. The repair they did was fantastic. Geico was trying to get them to use non-Toyota parts, and they used authentic parts. They also told me that there are slight color variations for cars that you buy from a dealership, and they don't just match to the color/formula but have six different slight variations to the shade that they match, to make sure it looks 100% perfect and original. You couldn't tell the car was ever touched. And honestly, you can tell a lot when you walk into a company about how it's run from how it looks. And behind the scenes here? It's super neat, clean, and efficient looking. So this is a long winded way of saying there are very few companies like this one, and if you get your car repaired here, you're lucky. I would give Ferrari Brothers Body Shop 10 stars if I could. I live on the Westside of Los Angeles, but choose to get my bodywork done here, 36 miles away, because they are that good. Ask for Steve Sy and you'll be in good hands and beyond taken care of. Steve is extremely professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and just an all around kind person and a great human being. I live in L.A. but grew up and have family in the area and have seen this body shop in Monrovia as long as I can remember. Based on the other Yelp reviews, I decided to give them a try over some shops I visited in LA and Pasadena that just seemed impersonal and like a chaotic mass production. My wife and I have had bad luck with our 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude, getting into two very minor but aesthetically nasty fender benders within 6 months of each other. Steve made the whole process not only easy and accommodating, but dare I say a pleasure? He frequently checked in on the status and progress of the claim and repairs, and was always available for questions or concerns. They use OEM parts and stand by their work and warranty. They also go through great lengths to make sure the paint is perfectly matched and blended- Steve explained that there are over a dozen variations of my particular paint color for the year of my car alone. Being a perfectionist, I had spotted some minor flaws in the clear coat that had pooled around the door frames, and Steve had it taken care of right away. Also some of the OEM Mopar weatherstripping and fender flares had issues with the adhesive strip from the manufacturer, and Steve took care of it right away as well, ordering new parts and using their own adhesive in addition to the manufacturer's as precaution, and I've no issues since. I recently scraped up my wheels and a part of the front bumper on a red curb, so I brought it by Steve to see if was worth filing a claim for. He advised against it for the small amount of damage (vs. the cost of the point on my record and the premium going up due to it being an "at fault collision") and immediately brought out his paint team and they buffed out as much of the scuff as possible and then matched and made up some touch up paint for the wheels and applied it- all on the spot for free! I can't rave about Ferrari Brothers enough! The fixed the bumper on my vehicle two years ago but it needed an alignment. I live an hour and a half away and when I got here they took it back and said they'd get it fixed right away. And they did. It was done in 20 min! They then asked if they could wash it! When they fixed my bumper two years ago, they kept me in the loop through the whole process and it was done correctly the first time so I didn't have to send it back because something wasn't fixed. I hate writing, but this place is so amazing that I've decided to drop them a review. My brand-new Subaru Solterra got rear ended pretty much right after I bought it. I was in panic mode, and I started to call all the certified Subaru body shops near my house. Unfortunately, no one wanted to help as this car was new to the Subaru family and it's an electric vehicle. After calling several places, I found Ferrari Bros, which was 20 miles away. When no one wanted to help me, Steve and his team gave me a hand. This car was so new that there's not even a database for parts, so the team had to spend a significant amount of time taking each part out of the car, write down each part number, and then order them one by one from a Subaru dealership. Steve was very good with emails, and he gave me weekly updates about my car to keep me well informed. With global supply chain crisis, my car was fixed and retuned to me just as new in a reasonable amount of time. This place is absolutely the best body shop I have ever gone to. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! They gave me updates on my car twice a week and I really appreciated them keeping me in the loop. They were incredibly nice, professional and helpful and always available for questions. They even replaced the trim on my rear wheel well that had fallen off years ago but wasn't part of the work that needed to be done. They also noticed that I was missing a part in my mirror that doesn't allow it to be angled downward, which again was not part of the work that needed to be done. They said they would order the part for my mirror and replace it for me anyway. They also detailed my car after they were finished working on it. Took my car in last month because of a freak accident . My car ran over an undetonated illegal firework and it exploded as my tire ran over it . The reason I write reviews is for exceptional service or unacceptable service. This review is due to my exceptional experience with Ferrari Brothers Autobody. From the moment I met Jeff the Manager, he's been such a pleasure to do business with and so accommodating to my every need. The body and paint work they performed on my SUV couldn't be any better. The work they did gets me constant compliments. I also had an issue with previously installed headlights. Jeff was able to troubleshoot the electrical and wired in new headlights for me. Even if they're not around the corner - it's totally worth making the drive. I did the work on my vehicle over a year ago and Jeff has continued to address any issues that may have had that were not pre-existing to the original repairs just to accommodate my needs of getting my vehicle back to its original state. I can't explain how in aw I was when my vehicle came out of the paint shop it was better than factory and when I say that it shines... He blended into every piece of panel on the vehicle that was the original paint scheme. On a sidenote I also want to complement Steve who is an addition to autobody and has worked with me on these issues. He'd call me back within a reasonable timeframe, leave me messages coordinating times and schedules for me to bring my vehicle in so the service can be completed. In closing I just want to say that it was a great experience to know that a local community autobody shop provides a service and they fulfill a need to the market of customers that require quality assurance and quality control.
