Contacted this dealership for in interest in one of their pre owned vehicles. Started off attentive with some info on the vehicle. Then things went sideways, people not responding to my request for additional information. It was as if because I did not make an immediate offer they were done with me. 8 days later I get a call from a staff member asking me to call her back and an email from the GM asking for feedback. I called back 2 times and responded to the mail offering to talk to the GM with my feedback. That was 2 days ago and no response from them. In this case, I am extremely satisfied with the service that I received at Ferrari of Long Island. I am very meticulous with my car (as anyone who knows me well can attest to), and brought my car in for service for a creaking noise (in the dashboard, A pillar area) that annoyed me beyond belief. Service advisor Mike Ronan, and Service manager Eddie Hoene took a personal interest in helping me out with my car to make sure that I was satisfied with the service provided. They worked with the mechanic Jimmy Mustakis, who was the one that eventually found and corrected the problem. Back in 1999 when I was fresh out of college, I came to Ferrari of LI just for sh!ts and giggles. I barely had enough for rent, let alone money for a Ferrari...at least not yet. Much to my surprise the sales person said he's happy to help a car enthusiasts any day. Fifteen years later I have bought six cars from them since and will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend their top notch customer service to anyone in the market for an exotic car. There's no BS or bait and switch they will tell you exactly what they can do for you and what's expected from you (it's an Italian thing...lol). Their service department is also top notch and will go out of their way to help you in an emergency (including towing my car from the city when I busted a wheel). Whether you are there just for sh!ts and giggles or are ready to buy a car please be straight with them. One name, two words - Jenna Schulman She will make your experience extend far beyond your imagination. I'm three hours behind her however she was always available. First time purchasing a Ferrari and she was everything I needed to make sure I was making the right decision. I had questions, she had answers. If I didn't ask, she would remind of things to research to make sure I was comfortable making this huge investment. We had everything ready to go and my flight was scheduled. Well she had a wedding to attend that same weekend. But that didn't stop her. Can't say enough about the personal service I received from this dealership. I inquired about a vehicle they had listed on a Sunday afternoon mind you. Literally within 15 minutes I was contacted by a rep from FLI and that was where it began. This young man and complete gentleman by the name of Kevin King went to work for me. I immediately let him know I was not even close to the average Ferrari owner and didnt have mega millions of dollars. My local dealership by the way, here in North Carolina would not give me the time day , return calls or emails perod. Kevin on the other all the way in NY treated me instantly as if I had bought multiple cars from him. It was a very pleasant surprise. He had a car that he thought I would really like and so happened my wife had to be in NYC for work so I arranged to go with her and that was when I met this young man for the first time. It so happened the car I was looking at sold before we got there . which is ok as I didnt expect him to hold onto it especiallyif someone siad I will take. Anyway he showed me the car which was exactly as described . He said not to worry we would find one that fit for . Then he let me drive one he had on the floor as I had never driven a 458 before which was smooth on his part as he knew I would be hooked. lol!!! He was so helpful in every imagineable way . He had told me about a car he had in his FL dealership he thought would work for. It so happened my wife was going to be working in FL close to dealershipand so my plan was to go and loook at this one. It was going to be a couple of weeks before we were going downand I really didnt want to lose this one. Vey rare to find a 2013 white 458 spider fully fitted with carbon with only 470 miles. I contacted a friend that lived close by to check out the car for me and again it was exactly as descirbed and truth be known it was 10 time s better than he said . Based on this I paid him for the car sight unseen , he shipped it to my front door and that is the begining of what I hope will be a long term relationship with this gentleman. He went so far and above in helping me I cannot say enough great things about him. He genuinely has compassion for what he does and even greater for his customers. If you are looking for someone who is the definition of customer service on a whole different level Kevin King is your goto guy. he worked endlessly for me for nearly 6 weeks ,responding in a very timely manor usually with 30 minute depending on what he was doing every single time. The worst people to deal with !!!! I went to into this dealership to get a ghibli. A 2015 car I liked, we couldn't strike a deal. A few days later the sales guy struck a deal with me so I went in to go get the car. Everything was good and here comes the dreaded finance manager... Looks at me says can't give u the car, I'm like reasoning your credit is not good enough. I said ok but I have a co buyer with me, oh her credit is good but no she's never had a car Loan so no... Unless she wants to show me the deed of her house if she owns one then yea.. With me she says u were late on a payment before on your either car," how do we know u can afford to make a payment on this if u can't make it on your previous car" right there I was insulted and embarrassed. Who the hells says that to a customer.. Granted I stayed composed I said no problem. She said get us a different co buyer, I give them two different co buyers with 10 plus years of credit history with 700 plus credit scores and again this excuse or that excuse... Tells me give me 20k out pocket I'll give u the car... U person u provided could have an x amount of credit limit but how do we know he isn't going to go out tomorrow and shop for 50 thousand and use up his credit limit then how is gonna afford the car. My question is who the hell are you to say something like that.. Worst people to deal with. I wish you nothing but the best and now I can see why you guys can't compare... Bought a car for USD 300.000 from Ferrari -Maserati of Long island, and must say this is the worst service I have ever experienced when buying a car. Even Honda gave me better service than this....They gave me wrong ful information about the car and its condition, and I was struggling with them for several months to make them honor the "we owe you note" of items they were supposed to take care of/provide with the car. They advised me that there is a lot of people with money in the area, so apparently not too much effort is required to sell the cars. No customer appreciation at all, not even a "thank you for the business". Sales persons in this dealership were rushed, and had an attitude as if you should be lucky that you are able to buy a car from them. I can't believe that Ferrari allow such a good name and brand to be pulled down in the dirt by these guys. Dont do same mistake as me and buy from these guys, you will regret it, its really not worth it. read more
