Ok, found our friendly neighborhood boiler guy. Anthony came out the day after Christmas, during subzero temps and cleaned up the mess left by another company. Not only did he quickly come on site, he took the time to educate us on why the issue with our Nest thermostat occurred. I can not say enough about Ferraro HVAC. My AC unit wasn't pushing any air through the vents and I was having terrible condensation around the base of my HVAC unit in my house. My technician was Don and I can not say enough about this professional HVAC worker. Don came into my house and from moment one was very polite and professional. He did a diagnostic test of my AC and noticed my AC was very low on Freon and possibly thought there was a leak but not sure where it was located. He charged the unit and kept checking the readings. We both agreed not to put a sealant in the lines because he was afraid it may be a waste of money. Just before he was to leave, Don can here what sounded like a small trickling waterfall. He stated that he couldn't leave until he inspected what was going on inside my HVAC system. He began to remove panels and found all the coils were soaked from condensation and rusted. He dug a little deeper and found the underside of these coils were dirty. He said he could come back the next day and do a deep clean on them. He discussed exactly how much it would cost. I turn my AC off at night before bed and when he came back the next day, he could see the Freon vapor leaking out of one of the coils. He contact the office and then gave me all the options and cost. Don came back with another employee to get the new coil unit in, charged the system, and monitored it until he was satisfied it was cooling properly. Not only was it a great professional job but the cost wasn't even close to what I thought it would be. So much less. I would absolutely recommend Ferraro HVAC for ANY HVAC problems! read more

Can't say enough about the job these guys did. Our furnace went out on one of the coldest days of the year. I called at 7:45 at night and Anthony picked up saying he would be at our house first thing in the morning. He arrived right on time at 7:30am and quickly diagnosed the issue (temperature gauge on the furnace). The part was available and installed by Donald 3 hours later and our heat is back to normal! I called Ferraro on a hot Friday evening, left a message and received a telephone call immediately back. My air conditioner stopped working and the owner, Anthony answered my questions and asked if I would like service in a few hours. I asked, would there be extra charge since it was emergency and he said, no. I was amazed because other HVAC companies charge if it's emergency. We called Ferraro HVAC for a second opinion on a problem with our air conditioner after another company claimed we had to replace the entire unit (which is only 4 years old and which that company had originally installed) at a cost of well over $4000. The second opinion was well worth it! Anthony fixed our existing air conditioner quickly and for a small fraction of the price the first company wanted to replace it. Anthony also took the time both over the phone when I initially called and then when he came in person to fully explain the issues that were going on, explain what our options were and the prices for each option, answer all of our questions, and explain which option he recommended and why. Over the past couple of years they have tuned both my furnace and AC units and installed a whole house humidifier. In addition I've used their emergency service in the middle of the night (around 3 AM) when I had an issue with my furnace in the deep freeze of winter (they replied quickly and were over within 30 minutes). Most recently, they assisted and managed the entire warranty swap/replacement of the motor/wheel/starter on a 2.5 year old unit. They took care of all the calling and explaining to the manufacturer and I didn't have to do anything! When they were first out to tune my unit and install the humidification system they encouraged me to register my equipment with the manufacturer in case I ever had problems and it's a good thing I did. This is one of the great things about this company that separates them from the competition: they are looking out for you and have your best interest in mind. While performing work in my home they have also suggested optimal placements of baffles and various other tweaks I could do to maximize airflow where I need and want it most. They have always been very reliable, customer service friendly, honest, offered fair and competitive prices and explained everything to me that I needed to know about my equipment when I asked. I never once felt stupid or ashamed for asking a question and was always answered and explained things so that I would understand them and in a friendly manner. Ferraro HVAC is the only company I will work with for all of my HVAC and other mechanical and home servicing needs. I couldn't be more pleased and highly endorse their work. read more

I came back from vacation on a Thursday night at about 10pm to find out that the heat was not working. I had my son's birthday party on Saturday so I needed it fixed asap.
