I sent a message via Yelp on a Sunday night and they immediately scheduled our oven troubleshooting for Monday afternoon. Their front office staff is incredibly responsive! George (technician) arrived timely and was very thorough. He explained things to me every step of the way. He is approaching this very methodically - ok, so it's not the igniter, let's look at the next link in the chain... I saw George called out by name in other Yelp reviews, and I understand why he comes so highly recommended! He called the manufacturer to discuss his findings, but the manufacturer tech team wasn't available. He let me know he would be calling them again in the morning and that he would reach out to me with an update. I've had plenty of negative or so-so experiences with other service technicians from other companies. This experience with George / Astera is so positive that I'm posting my review even before the service is completed. The next day, Vladi called to apologize and explained that they had decided to reserve Monday for emergency calls only. I completely understood and asked if I could have a late afternoon appointment on a different day, since I'm a teacher and prefer not to miss school. He was very accommodating and scheduled me for the upcoming Wednesday between 4 and 6 p.m. Communication throughout the process was excellent, with both email and text updates. Luis arrived early and patiently waited for me to get home. He was a true professional, and I really appreciated his work ethic. He showed me how to change the filter and explained why I wasn't getting good airflow in my bedroom. Another thing I like about this company is that they don't try to sell you annual maintenance plans--in fact, they don't even offer them. They simply come when they're needed. The pricing is fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Hero Air and look forward to working with them again in the future.
