Once or twice each year my kitchen sink gets clogged up somewhere in the line underground. I usually call a plumber who comes out and cleans the line out for under $100. However, in January 2023 the plumber from the biggest brand name in town told me that clearing the line would be difficult and the issue would just return. He wanted to do a whole system flush (toilets, sinks, laundry room, main line, etc.) for $7,000. I LOL'd and told him no. Recently the issue came up again. I called the big name company, the plumber came out, and he cleared the line AFTER telling me that he recommended we clear the kitchen line and main line. He tried to upsell me at every turn and didn't provide step by step details about when really needed to be done. Sure, he put a camera in the kitchen line up to about 30 feet to show me where it was clogged, but never checked my main line. He just recommended that we do a whole system flush ($7K) or at the very least a kitchen and main line cleaning ($2200). Based on previous services and feeling like I was at a used car dealership, I did not agree to the service. 4 days later my kitchen line was clogged again (I think the plumber purposely didn't clear the line as well as he should have to try to get the "upsell" from me). So I called Fetch-A-Tech and two plumbers came out this morning. I told them my issue (didn't mention I had a different company out 4 days ago) and the service I received was amazing. They approached the problem from a whole different angle: let's find out what is wrong, then provide options for solutions. At every point in the inspection process they involved me, and I had a better understanding of how my plumbing works as a result. I saw with my own eyes the issues and they made their recommendations. Even though the price was slightly higher with Fetch-A-Tech, I opted to use them for the solution (complete clearing of the kitchen line and main line) because of their service, knowledge, and willingness to walk me through the entire issue. Plus, there is a 2 year warranty on the work they did. They never tried to upsell me; they focused on the issue and potential fixes. I'd use Fetch-A-Tech again. They did great today. read more

Fetch-a-tech is definitely my go to for air conditioning and plumbing! Everyone that has come to my home has been very professional, polite and explaineverything very well so that I make the best decision for my home. Yes they are not the cheapest in town but I definitely believe you get what you pay for. I have replaced several things in my home with these guys and couldn't be more satisfied. My air went out on one of the hottest days last year and was not looking forward to the next several days but fetch-a-tech came out right away and was able to get me up and running that same day. My ductwork wasn't in the greatest shape either. Yes the air was able to get into my home but the quality and condition had seen better days. I wanted to make sure I was making the right decision to replace my ductwork and so I did some research and googled how long round ductwork should last which states that ductwork last on barrage of 10-15 years especially with our extreme climate. my home was 25 years old and the pictures that were shown to me definitely indicated that it was due for replacement. their installers were wonderful and got the job done in a timely manner and did a great job! And I don't want to forget to give a shoutout to their plumbers as well. I am looking into getting some sort of water purifier for my home. It was explained very well as far as what is recommended and what would best work for my home specifically, and again they are not the cheapest but they also are not the most expensive as I have gotten several bids before and nobody has ever taken the time to show me everything and explain as well as they did. We recently had to replace two (2) HVAC systems at our home. We are the original owners of the home so the units were over 20 years old. They had been serviced as needed. The company we usually use couldn't even come to check our systems for 3 weeks. I called Fetch-a-Tech on a Friday night. A service tech was at my door at 8:00 am the next morning, he checked both systems. 1 was not repairable and the other was pulling so many amps, it was just a matter of time. We decided to bite the bullet and replace both systems. The service tech arranged everything, and 45 minutes later, 2 installers arrived and began removing our old systems. Our two new systems arrived about 1 hour later with 2 additional installers. By 7:00 pm, both new systems were installed and working and our home was nice and cool. The systems included 2 new thermostats that are WiFi enabled, so we can adjust the temperature right from our smart phones. The entire team was stellar, from initial contact to project completion and inspection. The cost was in-line with most other major companies and the units have a full coverage 12 year warranty. Fetch a Tech rocks. I spoke with them on a Thursday to schedule a consult for a new unit. I spoke with Lou and we set up a time. Im not a big fan of sale people but Lou is the man! He gave me the brand name that they sell and told me to look in to them. Their units are Made In The USA! Rate one of the best AC units made. Lou was on time and very professional. I told him who we had out to look at the unit. Lou said I'll be upfront. We are not the lowest priced company in town and we are not the most expensive in town. We are the most honest company to deal with. We are not going to sell you stuff you dont need. He gave is a price and it was about what we expected. He call and confirmed that a crew could be here today. Once we got the financing done and everything was signed. He had a crew at my door with in an hour. The crew arrived and got to work. They had my 30+ yr unit off my roof and the new one up, installed and running in 4hrs. It takes a special group of people to get on a roof in 100+ degree weather to work. The technicians identified registers and intake returns located in the wrong rooms attributed to prior incorrect work with the remodel. They relocated the register/returns and installed new registers in several rooms as well as relocating/replacing ducts with more efficient materials. They also installed 22 inches of insulation on top or the pre-existing 6 inches for the highest protection from outside weather impairing the efficiency of the entire four HVAC systems In a 4,000 sq ft house. The folks explained what things were wrong or inefficient and described exactly what they could do to improve everything to "state of the art" performance. And the year before they replaced two HVAC systems and ducts in 3 zones. The overall costs were significant but in our experience, definitely worth the effort. The technicians were polite, personable, clean and responded to questions during their 2 1/2 day project. We await the technical specifications needed to apply for available home energy improvements tax credits. We highly recommend Fetch-a-Tech for anyone needing any HVAC / home energy improvements. read more

I hired this company to repair a clogged toilet and it was discovered I had a belly in the sewer line outside my house. Joshua came promptly same day that I called. He was very thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. He went out of his way to explain everything in detail, ran a camera through my line to show me the problem and explained exactly what the fix would entail. I seldom would hand out a 5-Star rating. This was easy and well deserved. 2-years ago we had purchased an AC unit from ACLV 2 years ago (now Fetch-a-tech). Our unit began blowing warm air. We didn't know if it was something we were doing wrong rather than it being an issue with the unit. So we decided to stop by the Company to talk to someone. Me and my wife have been having trouble with our A/C unit for the past 2 years now. Its a 2003 unit and kept busting out every year in Summer right when it gets hot and was pretty much held together with spit and ductape. I didn't feel pressured by the maintenance yearly service gentleman (didn't catch his name) and he was very thorough and kindly gentleman. As for Sergio, he is undoubtedly the best service person I have had in my home, he was kind, professional, personable, honest and all around good person to be around. Mike, the follow-up service technician, was again a gentleman, kind, knowledgeable and a pleasure to have in my home. Our A/C went out in 110 degree heat. Called Fetch-A-Tech for an estimate. They sent Lou. Our system was not that old but the previous installers didn't install the unit correctly. We had to have a total replacement of our air conditioning and heating units. Lou gave us their best estimate right away. No back and forth negotiating needed which under this stressful time was greatly appreciated. He simplified the whole process from start to finish. He answered all our questions completely and promptly. They sent out three knowledgeable technicians Isaac, Marcos, and Brice less than 48 hours later. They were very professional and efficient. Juan Castanedi, sorry if I misspelled the last name, was the technician that came out to tune-up my heat pump. I have to admit, he did a great job. As he disassembled the unit he explained each component to me and how it worked. This unit is about 8 years old and the first tome it was ever looked, it was filthy. Juan hosed of the fins and the surrounding cabinet, cleared out the drain holes, checked all the wireing for proper voltage. then re-assembled the unit. He checked my thermostate and measured the air it was producing. He was very compedent. He has a very friendly personality and easy to talk with. The service was excellent. The technician, Juan Castaneda, was professional, thorough and friendly. He checked my heating and air conditioning units and confirmed they are in good working order. He recommended some maintenance to keep the units working efficiently and advised doing so would help the units last longer. The service was very affordable as well. While he was here, and at no charge, he even brought in his ladder to change my air filters which are located in the ceiling as I am not physically able to climb a ladder. Louis Lobel was very informative in the problems I had with my home needs. The air-ducts were replaced in record time, and so efficently. Two crews came in one to take out, one to install, they were all so polite and helpful: Lorenzo, Lee, Chase and Derene and Nick?? Whatever training they get, it should be used in every business. I had also purchased toilets that are power water flush, use less water, from Home Depot (only $150.00) but they needed to be installed. Luis and Trumayne helped with that, which took longer than the duct work, my son felt they should be paid more, since they took longer. Both gentlemen were customer service focused and courteous in making sure that I was educated on my AC systems and on what exactly is being performed. They took their time. Had a whole house plumbing inspection performed. The technician, Jorge Martinez was highly knowledgeable and professional. I was impressed that Jorge did a very thorough job explaining all faucets of the inspection. He did not rush the inspection and was detail oriented. A big thank you to Fetch-A-Tech for honoring the warranty on parts and labor for two different companies who had installed my new ac system and new lines incorrectly and then went out of business. I found out that one of the companies was taken over by Fetch-A-Tech and so contacted them ready for a dispute and a bad review but when I spoke to the manager Dennis he did the right and ethical thing, by honoring the warrantees and sent his techs out right away to analyze and repair my system.
