Giant Blueberry Muffin and a butterscotch cold foam cold brew

Fitti's is our favorite place to grab coffee and a quick breakfast. My husband really loves their huge breakfast burrito, and we've enjoyed all the pastries we've tried so far. I also like that they have a lot of options for customizing your drinks, which is great for different dietary needs or just being adventurous. The staff are always friendly and ready to help, especially if you want to try something new. We're looking forward to returning this summer to try their shaved ice, as they have many flavors to choose from!

Good vibes the second you walk in -- super friendly staff, and everything's made fresh. I ordered the sausage, egg & cheese sandwich (5/5 - tastes like your mom made it), blueberry lemon scone (5/5 - buttery, light, and balanced flavor), and the caramel macchiato (4/5 - solid, but I like mine a little bolder/traditional). Note: the smallest coffee size is 12oz. Fast service, free WiFi, plenty of seating (indoor & outdoor), and it's veteran-owned. 100% coming back.

Been to Fitti's a handful of times, but finally ate there, so I decided it is time to write a review. I don't love the coffee. The most recent time I went, my husband got black coffee and it tasted burnt. I get lattes and they are always too sweet for me. We got the breakfast burrito and a sandwich. The burrito was fine, but the sandwich was very good. It was like a breakfast grilled cheese - the bread was toasted and buttery, perfectly cooked egg and crispy bacon. Service is always kind.

Such a cute coffee shop! This place was busy and I can see why! My husband and I got the breakfast sandwiches and shared a coffee flight. 10/10 would come again! It's across town for us but worth it!

I'm such a coffee fiend, and I love supporting a local business! The prices here are pretty reasonable, but where this cafe shines is the customer service and warm, friendly interaction with the staff. I feel comfortable hanging out there, and the staff gave us very personal service! I was in the Tiffany Springs area for my ACLS certification and needed somewhere to stop for lunch, and I'm so glad I came here for it. Its rating on Yelp is high for good reason! I ordered a blueberry lemon scone, bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and a 20 oz hot Kansas City espresso drink with Irish Creme flavoring. All were wonderful! The sandwich was giving Waffle House but a little bit less greasy. The scone was PACKED FULL of blueberries, which was a welcome surprise because most scones I've had were pretty flaky and majority flour. The espresso was alright, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst. Food is overall 4.5/5, drink is 4/5. If I have a lot of extra time to kill before heading to the MCI airport or have some other errand to run up north, I'm definitely returning!

Very cool little locally owned, veteran owned coffee shop in a sea of nearby chain shops. With some time to kill before our flight, My son and I stopped by here on the way back to the airport. My son (8) was immediately attracted by the giant cake pops and I was interested in the espresso shots. Being from a family of vets I can appreciate the homage to vets in this space. The service was great and friendly. The cafe culture felt like home. Please support local businesses like this one as they keep your dollars revolving locally and support vets and local families.

This was my iced quad espresso with light cream. They have incredible espresso.

This place is just perfect. It's just beautiful in side and the people are so kind! We are just visiting for a couple days and we came here both! Everything was delish and the espresso was just divine!

So exciting to try a new coffee shop that really knows what they're doing! I had to be up in Parkville to register my car, so I had to make a pit stop for caffeine at Fitti's, and I'm glad I did! First of all, the ambiance is amazing right when you walk in. Outside, you hear the sounds of the busy road, but once you get inside, it is a little haven for you to get away from the busy vibes of the area. The workers are also super friendly, and since I was a newbie, I asked some questions which they were happy to oblige! I ended up getting their cold brew, and the batista suggested getting the foam on top (I got it with caramel flavor!). Definitely recommend if you get to check out Fitti's - - it wasn't something I've tried before (but maybe I'm just missing out!). The batista also recommended a scone, and her favorite was the strawberry, so I took her advice! Great scone (and GIANT)! 10 out of 10 would recommend if you're in the area or if you need an excuse to come up north and grab a coffee! Thanks Fitti's!

    Cherry almond scone=WONDERFUL

There are plenty of espresso/coffee options with a well explained menu for anyone who may not be familiar with the lingo. I'm sure if you want a special drink made a certain way, these folks would be delighted to accommodate your request. Paying cash? You get a 3.9% discount. That's sweet! The ambience is just cozy and welcoming. If you like plants, there are several beautiful plants to admire. I suggest giving the scones a try! I tried the cherry almond scone and I absolutely loved it. Can't wait to try others. Excellent coffee house!

Plenty of parking. Service was excellent, team is very friendly. Apple Pay a plus! Coffee was strong, great flavor. Plenty of space to grab a seat and hangout. Definitely would return. They had giant cake pops and scones that looked excellent.

My wife and I shared the meat lovers breakfast burrito and it was good size and filled with the filling. Our friend got the breakfast enchiladas and said it was very good, she likes the green sauce over the red. I didn't personally try so I can't say how it was. My son ordered the traditional breakfast, and that's exactly what it was, but he liked it. The pancakes are the size of the plate and had a fluffy center and crispy edges. We did have to ask for more syrup because they were so big. The only reason it was not a 5 was because I felt the waitress could have been around more. I felt that since we had a group of 7 and the gratuity was already added she didn't worry about it. Our waters went empty and we had to ask a different waiter for more water and syrup, when she came over the water was warm and didn't have any ice. A kid spilled her syrup we went and asked for a rag and we cleaned it up which we expected but we had to flag someone down to see if she could get more syrup. I just felt she wasn't as attractive as she could have been. We went there on a Monday around 9:45, so it wasn't extremely busy. I would say that you should try it, it was good food!

To step through its threshold is to surrender to the siren song of warmth that curls from the oven like a whispered secret. I have made it my pilgrimage to traverse the entirety of their menu, a culinary odyssey that has yielded no false steps, only a symphony of consistency that borders on the miraculous. Each offering, from the flaky, golden architecture of their pastries to the robust, honest comfort of their savory fare, is a testament to the artisan's hand. Here, affordability is not a sacrifice of quality but a generous invitation, a rare confluence where the exquisite meets the accessible. There is a certain magic in the air at McLain's, a sweetness that feels woven into the very fabric of the establishment. It is a place that understands the language of comfort, speaking it fluently in the dialect of a perfect crust or the rich, dark notes of a expertly pulled espresso. It is perhaps no surprise that such a bastion of authentic delight has garnered a reputation that extends far beyond our local borders; if the standard of excellence is high enough to grace the plate of Taylor Swift, then surely, it is more than enough for us, the grateful residents who claim this treasure as our own. Yet, beyond the flour-dusted counters and the glowing glass cases, my deepest admiration is reserved for their spirit. In a world that often measures worth in cold, transactional metrics, McLain's chooses to honor those who pour themselves into the future of our community. As a teacher, I feel that recognition in the small gestures, the welcoming nods, and the genuine appreciation they extend to educators. It is a profound kindness, a recognition that the work of shaping minds requires nourishment, both intellectual and literal. They understand that a classroom is a marathon, and they act as the essential pit stop, providing the fuel that keeps the light of inquiry burning bright. To dine at McLain's is to participate in a ritual of belonging. It is a place where the passage of time is marked not by the ticking of a clock, but by the turning of the oven trays. It is a reliable heartbeat in the neighborhood, steadfast and true, offering a reprieve from the clamor of the outside world. Whether one seeks a quiet moment of reflection over a cup of coffee or a celebratory feast that honors the simple, profound joy of eating well, McLain's remains an unrivaled steward of taste. It is not merely a bakery; it is the living, breathing soul of Waldo, a place where every bite serves as a reminder that some things in this life are exactly as good as they ought to be.

You can only get them on Saturday or Sunday because it takes a days to ferment and laminate the dough. The quality of their ingredients shines in even the simplest plain croissant.
