This place is definitely vibing! Very different than all the other coffee shops I love and thats what I love the most. I love variety. I walked in and they were blasting 90s music. Felt like I had just walked into an old high school field party but much more refined with coffee instead of kegs. Lol. They had so many coffee flavors to choose from. I ended up going with amaretto because it is impossible to find elsewhere. The coffee was spectacular. Someone noticed that I was trying to catch up with a friend and brought a coloring book out for my 5 y/o. Very much appreciated. All the staff was more than helpful, recommended drinks and were always giving out smiles. So happy my friend introduced me to this place. Stopped here on the way home from KC! It was a wonderful little surprise experience! Voted one of Yelp Elites fave drink spot for a reason! The coffee was good, they had a lot of flavors to choose from and their pumpkin scone was AMAZING! The scone was nice and moist with a GREAT frosting on top! The baristas were all very friendly and the owner (who took our order) was very helpful when we had questions about the menu! The place itself has a lot of comfy seats, a lot of space to set your food and drinks down along with a laptop or note books, and the bathroom was clean which is always a plus! Been to Fitti's a handful of times, but finally ate there, so I decided it is time to write a review. I don't love the coffee. The most recent time I went, my husband got black coffee and it tasted burnt. I get lattes and they are always too sweet for me. We got the breakfast burrito and a sandwich. The burrito was fine, but the sandwich was very good. It was like a breakfast grilled cheese - the bread was toasted and buttery, perfectly cooked egg and crispy bacon. I'm such a coffee fiend, and I love supporting a local business! The prices here are pretty reasonable, but where this cafe shines is the customer service and warm, friendly interaction with the staff. I feel comfortable hanging out there, and the staff gave us very personal service! I was in the Tiffany Springs area for my ACLS certification and needed somewhere to stop for lunch, and I'm so glad I came here for it. Its rating on Yelp is high for good reason! I ordered a blueberry lemon scone, bacon egg and cheese sandwich, and a 20 oz hot Kansas City espresso drink with Irish Creme flavoring. All were wonderful! The sandwich was giving Waffle House but a little bit less greasy. The scone was PACKED FULL of blueberries, which was a welcome surprise because most scones I've had were pretty flaky and majority flour. The espresso was alright, not the best I've had but definitely not the worst. Food is overall 4.5/5, drink is 4/5. If I have a lot of extra time to kill before heading to the MCI airport or have some other errand to run up north, I'm definitely returning! read more

Very cool little locally owned, veteran owned coffee shop in a sea of nearby chain shops. With some time to kill before our flight, My son and I stopped by here on the way back to the airport. My son (8) was immediately attracted by the giant cake pops and I was interested in the espresso shots. Being from a family of vets I can appreciate the homage to vets in this space. The service was great and friendly. The cafe culture felt like home. So exciting to try a new coffee shop that really knows what they're doing! I had to be up in Parkville to register my car, so I had to make a pit stop for caffeine at Fitti's, and I'm glad I did! First of all, the ambiance is amazing right when you walk in. Outside, you hear the sounds of the busy road, but once you get inside, it is a little haven for you to get away from the busy vibes of the area. The workers are also super friendly, and since I was a newbie, I asked some questions which they were happy to oblige! I ended up getting their cold brew, and the batista suggested getting the foam on top (I got it with caramel flavor!). Definitely recommend if you get to check out Fitti's - - it wasn't something I've tried before (but maybe I'm just missing out!). The batista also recommended a scone, and her favorite was the strawberry, so I took her advice! There are plenty of espresso/coffee options with a well explained menu for anyone who may not be familiar with the lingo. I'm sure if you want a special drink made a certain way, these folks would be delighted to accommodate your request. Paying cash? You get a 3.9% discount. That's sweet! A friend and I came here for the first time to try a coffee flight. We love Fitti's and will definitely be back! The staff is super friendly, we love that the business is veteran owned, the coffee flight was so fun (4 8oz cups of whatever we wanted to try), our breakfast sandwiches were delicious. I stopped the manager and chatted with him about how we were enjoying our experience. A few minutes later he came back with a pumpkin scone for us to try. It was fabulous! This was a nice Saturday morning surprise. We came here after running some errands (and we found it on Yelp)enough of. We really enjoyed the chai tea and egg sandwich. It seems like it's run by a family and everyone was super friendly and busy. They were constantly cleaning, which I don't see enough of at coffee shops. The only negative I have is the location, this is a great coffee shop with outdoor seating and big couches for indoor seating. I just wish it wasn't so close to the interstate. And it's not easy to get to. maybe someday they will move to a place more suited for their awesome beverages. read more

Had time to kill before a flight, so I found Fitti's on Yelp. Veteran owned, so I had to support!!! Couldn't have made a better decision. Knew I was at home when I walked in the door and good ol' classic rock music was jamming over the speakers at 7am on a Sunday morning :) Almond and oat are the dairy alternatives, so I tried an oat milk cappuccino, extra hot. Perfect ratio of froth, milk and espresso. The espresso was roasted to perfection. The place has a lot of seating, 2 high top bars, standard tables/chairs and there's even a sofa and a couple comfy plush chairs for more relaxing visits. Plus, a fairly large patio with tables equipped with umbrellas. They even have a drive thru, but I recommend going inside to check out the merch. Customer service was exceptional. read more

So, I had to be out and about this morning and decided I would stop in and have a cup of coffee. So, since I was over at the I-29 and Barry Road area just off of Northwest Prairie View Road is a coffee shop called Fitti's Espresso. This shop is veteran owned and has a nice warm and welcoming interior. As I looked over their menu board, I see that they've got just about every kind of expresso you can think of and while I was checking out the expresso board my eye caught a whole tray full of scones. Woe is me! So being a bland and uninteresting fellow in my own right, I decided to order up a cup of drip coffee along with a blueberry scone. They asked me if I wanted the scone warmed and I said yes and then they asked me about cream and sugar for the coffee and I said yes. The order was placed, I found a seat, and, in a few moments, they brought me a tasty, warm, blueberry scone and a good cup of coffee. If you're out and about and in this neighborhood and needing a cup of coffee or some tea or even little breakfast or brunch this would be a good place to stop in at and give them a try. Skip the big chain coffee and support local! The inside is small, but comfortable and with plenty of space for at least 2 dozen patrons. There are sunlit tables and dark cozy corners. This morning it's busy with at least 4 groups of people chatting quietly, and a few single patrons. Service was prompt and friendly. They have a drive through and loyalty points. This place is easy to miss, as it's hidden behind LC's Hamburgers. Despite the hidden location, Fitti's was very busy on a Saturday morning! But the service was nice and I received my drink quickly. There's decent seating and the interior stands out among other coffee shops--- there's a homier feel to it. The latte I ordered was good, although $7+ seems a little overpriced for a latte in a to-go cup. Using mugs and adding more to the presentation would definitely help make up for it! read more

Super cute coffee shop! I had a day in Kansas City and was staying near the airport. Wanting some good coffee and to get out of the hotel, I found this place. What a gem! Bonus, supporting a local business. The entire staff here is friendly and caring, with excellent service. I ordered a cortado with almond milk and standing at the cash register, the pastry display case caught my eye. Huge cookies, scones and muffins! I ordered two cookies and a muffin to share with our little group. They were so delicious that we ordered one more of each to-go. There's even a TV for you sports fans, a drive-thru window, both indoor and outdoor seating. Happy find! read more

Let me say fresh coffee they buy quality beans that for me is a plus cause I'm a coffee lover that has travel to many haciendas, the atmosphere is beautiful I appreciate the love they give to our veterans as I'm a marine daughter myself! I order the Kansas City coffee hot and it was perfect! Now let's talk about food we order the burrito just one well that was a mistake the moment we took a bite including my 6 year old daughter we were transported just like ratouille in his Disney novel explosions of flavors ... sorry I went on a mom trip. My husband and I came here, since we set out to check nearly every coffee shop in the metro area, and found the drip coffee to be mediocre at best. I was informed that their roasted beans brewed that day we're an Italian roast from beans in Seattle? I've been to Seattle, and asides the ubiquitous green sea maiden there, they do roast beans well and have great coffee. This was just okay, and I have had worse elsewhere, as mentioned in those other reviews. The place was also not what I expected, a bit smaller and, well, I provided images, enough said. The gentlemen at the place was accommodating because the shop was a bit cold and he turned the furnace up a bit, since it was chilly that day.
