    Chicken Mushroom Pie

This place has a very fun and cozy atmosphere. The service was very quick; all of our food came out after about 15 mins of ordering. My Chicken and Mushroom pie was delicious. I loved how flaky the crust was although the filling could have had a bit more flavor. The Gaelic fries are a must try, the sauce had so much flavor and paired very well with the thick cuts of fries.

Finally visited on a non-trivia night, and I'm happy to report Fibbar MaGees was still an incredible experience! I stopped by very late on a Thursday night, and there were plenty of open tables. On Tuesdays, it's usually packed and hard to find a table because of trivia, so this was a nice change of pace. The atmosphere felt cozy and fun, with big groups of friends enjoying a drink. The employees were super friendly, and Evelyn was so kind, as usual. The food was delicious! The portions are also really generous. The Fibbar Burger is a solid entree, and for $1, you can upgrade your fries to garlic fries. The beef patty is well-cooked, and it's my ideal burger. On Thursdays, they have a $10 (!!!!) flat iron steak with veggies and a baked potato with gravy on a sizzling skillet deal. I did ask for a medium rare steak, and the steak was definitely giving extremely well-done. That being said, it was still absolutely delicious, so no issues there! The baked potato was buttery and soft. I can't recommend the Butter Toffee Cake enough! They serve the cake warm and gooey, and it pairs well with plenty of whipped cream. You can't go wrong here: amazing ambiance, delicious food, and great service! I come here every week, and I'm absolutely obsessed with this place.

Fibbar MaGees is such a vibe. I have wandered in here on a handful of occasions with friends and I've always had a positive experience. The food is full of flavor and served nice and hot... and the staff / service is always top tier. Questions? They'll answer or provide recommendations. Quick, friendly and always with a smile. Even when they are jammed packed and there's not one available seat in the house, the staff is always on top of everyone's needs. Overall, this is an excellent place to grab some delicious food and catch a game or just sit, drink and gab with friends. Definitely one of my favorite spots in the downtown Sunnyvale area!

Had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patty's Day here. Had the corned beef fries to share and the traditional corned beef & cabbage plate. So tasty! They also served festive green beers. Our hour lunch turned into a 3 hour event. I'll be back next year!

We got out of the large crowd today on Murphy street for brunch and walked into Fibbar. It was like walking into a different dimension. Totally loved it! The service was expected and the food was good. I really liked their Buffalo cauliflower! I got Guinness and loved it so I got another one! Ambience was like a sports bar, there was a Purdue event there so they took over 2 of the TV's which was not an issue.

You don't have allot of choices for a real Irish Pub experience but Fibbar MaGees fits the bill. The atmosphere totally reminded me of my trip to Ireland the Pub crawls there are Epic Great place to watch a game lots of big screen Televisions with nice little nooks and a good size beer garden in back as well as covered Parker seating out front. I had the Shepards pie it was flavorful and the mashed potato top was just the right thickness. The last thing you want is the mashed potatoes to be all that you taste. So it had the perfect balance. My Hubby got the Guinness Beef stew. He enjoyed it but thought that the stew could have been thicker. The meat was cooked perfectly super tender and pulled apart with your fork. If I'm feeling nostalgic for the Pubs of Ireland this is where I'll be. Be kind to one another

Had a large drink menu but that was the only highlight. Service was attentive during the first half but when a couple more people joined us the servers were no where to be seen! We even tried to go to the bar to order but they wouldn't let us order there. I got a club sandwich which was incredibly disappointing. It had such little turkey, tomato and lettuce that I could only taste the bread. There was an ample amount of bacon but it was soooo saltyyy. I usually have a good amount of salt in my food so I was suprised that I found it salty! Rating it two stars cause the server at the very end was really helpful!

Real Irish Pub. Great service and excellent food. Excellent selection of brews and Irish food. Pub atmosphere abounds. This area of Sunnyvale has everything one could want bars, restaurants etc... My choice today was a great place.

The place overall is really fun hangout spot, large selection of beers and cocktails. Service was quick and professional. The only reason why I give 4 stars is the salmon was little on the dry end. But otherwise tasted well.

Always a great time at Fibbar's! Friendly staff, plenty of outdoor seating (need to sit inside for drinks next time!) and great food! We've stopped by for a couple of the weekly specials and have always left fulfilled! Who can say no to a pint of mangers and a steak dinner!

Very nice hometown bar with friendly people and staff. Food was delicious and the garlic fries, although simple, were done right and went well with beers. There is a place for everyone here, front patio, back patio, bar top, high top, and tables. The space has a flow and something for everyone.

Great pub and even a solid lunch spot - friendly hostess and good portions. Swung by for takeout and they had it ready 5 mins after opening!

When it comes to any business that sells and/or serves alcohol, nothing, and I mean NOTHING,…read morecompares to a British and/or Irish pub. St Stephen's Green is an Irish pub that is a Mountain View mainstay and institution. It's been here for a long time, and it's a great place to drink a pint, munch on some food and shoot the breeze with friends. We decided to haul ass down here for the USA vs. Belgium World Cup match. Presently, for World Cup reservations, they have to be made at least 12 hours in advance and are $50/person (which you can redeem for drinks and food on the day of your reservation). We got here fairly early and sat in some free seats near the front entrance. Before long, the place was a zoo, but it didn't matter. The atmosphere and camaraderie were still electric. Despite the atrocity of a loss by team USA, great fun was still had. Their menu, I should note, is extensive with a number of both Irish and non-Irish food and drinks. On my visit, I started with a simple club soda which progressed to a glass of Guinness beer and some Guinness beer cheese pretzels which I split with my friends. The pretzels and the accompanying sauce were delicious. The club soda and Guinness were as good as can be had anywhere. Prices, admittedly, are not the cheapest here though. For two club sodas, two Guinness beers, and one order of the beer cheese pretzels, the total bill (without tip) came to approx. $47-48. Service was good but could have been a little bit more organized. When I was closing my tab, my server ran off just as I began to sign my receipt, and I was unable to get a copy for myself. Not a huge deal I suppose as the pub was awash with patrons on the inside and outside. But I will say this: When I made a few phone calls a day or two before to ask a few questions about reservations and seating, each person I spoke to on the phone was really friendly and answered my questions clearly and with no hesitation or confusion. Some might think that such an experience like that isn't too remarkable, but, in a day and age of picking up the phone and talking to a computer and/or having to deal with poor customer service, this was a breath of fresh air. For those who plan to come for the remaining World Cup matches, if you do NOT have a reservation, be sure to walk around and see if there are any available tables (both inside and outside) that do NOT have a sign saying "reserved." If you're lucky to find one, you can sit there. If the table is indeed reserved, you can't sit there unless the amount of chairs at that table is greater than the amount of people for whom the table is reserved (which is noted on tables that are reserved.) There are a number of free seats up front that are first come, first served (which is where we sat), but they do NOT allow you to save seats for others. So I highly recommend that, if you plan to meet up with others, you arrive TOGETHER and EARLY. They recommended that we arrive at least one hour before the match started, which is great advice and served us well. Overall, if you're looking for a solid Irish pub in the South Bay, I highly recommend Green. SUPPORT LOCAL AND/OR SMALL BUSINESSES. 4 stars

Absolutely outrageous pricing; the worst part is, they originally served us 14 wings instead of the 21 we ordered, and still had the gall to charge us $64 for them. The drink service was also incredibly slow. We waited 15-20 minutes for our first round of two beers. The wings themselves were also subpar; other local places or even Wingstop are miles better. I remarked on wanting to try their Irish pub entrees sometime, but that won't be happening after this visit. Our waitress did comp us two drinks for the service. However, when she brought us the receipt only one was comped, and she only comped the second after we pointed it out.

There were a couple people who refused to leave the pool table and give other customers a chance to play, which was entertaining. I ordered the fish and chips with a side of curry sauce and it was great. Batter on the fish was so light and crisp while the fish remained flakey and tender. Paired great with the chips, the tangy creamy tartar sauce, a squeeze of lemon and malt vinegar! I had to try the chips with the curry and surprisingly the curry had a bit of a kick! Wish it was a bit thicker in texture but overall a solid dinner. Service was a bit slow as there were only 2 people managing the floor and the place was quite busy. We had ordered some beers for the table but we had nearly finished the meal before they came out so we asked for them to be cancelled and graciously, they gave us the beers on house! The ambience definitely creates a nice mood for dining. Since I was there to eat--not to celebrate anything and not particularly concerned about the cuteness--I paid more attention to other things: the spacing between tables, which felt a little too tight and close together; the service; the seating; and, most importantly, the food quality. The staff were very attentive and gracious throughout our visit. The Korean Pork Cutlet was juicy and delicious. It was a generous portion--easily enough for two people. It came with a delicious corn soup, potato salad, and several condiments. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the American Wagyu Steak with Cheese Dip. I ordered it medium, but the meat was so tough it was like chewing leather. Definitely not what I expected from a Wagyu steak. Would I go back? Probably not for a while, unless I was looking for a place with a fun atmosphere for a celebration. For me, good food comes first, and unfortunately, the steak experience left me questioning the quality of their other beef dishes. And I'm a beef eater!

There is/was absolutely no excuse for not having adequate staff!! We walked in for lunch and they were many open tables, but it took quite some time to get menus and even longer to get beverage orders taken. When the beverages arrived, we were short one/one was missing. The Reuben sandwich was very salty and the chicken sandwich under-seasoned. The other sandwich and burger were nothing special. When it came time to leave one party at our table, had to go find the waitress and ask for our bill/check.
