    Latte

Excellent small caffeine drip, we got some lattes. Great staff, chill environment, I didn't find anything sensational or experimental here unlike ube, hot honey, and reduced Champaign syrups sticking Midwest coffee in all directions however this did us just fine staring our city adventure.

This cute little spot serves up tasty coffees with small breakfast plates. Located within a main hotel, its cute, comfortable small interior gives you a break from the busy street. We tried their hot Americano with hazelnut and it was just what we needed to start our day. We also grabbed an everything bagel that was loaded with cream cheese. This spot offers various refreshments and their restroom is located in the hotel and you need to the key from the cafe.

Just tried a drink here recently after a run! Service was friendly, and I ordered one of their hot Chai Lattes. There is minimal seating indoors, but most of it was taken up by customers since it was quite cold outside. My Chai Latte came in a cute cup with their logo on it. Since I was okay braving the cold, I sat in their fancy outdoor seating area, equipped with a fireplace. The latte itself had a tasty chai taste and was quite warm when I received it, almost burning my tongue. On a cold spring morning in San Francisco, I'm glad I was able to give this place a try!

Looked for a quick bite to eat in the area and this place is as good as their pictures and reviews. - salmon avocado toast 5/5 - latte with coconut 5/5 The open-faced sandwich was so hearty! So much topping and perfectly filling for a quick breakfast or lunch. Coffee was delightful, as requested. Latte with coconut syrup. I must try if you are in the area

The Cafe is pretty simple; their food items are just common snacks you can make at home, and the price is perfectly reasonable. They have small amount of inside seating, but a lot of outdoor seatings that is shared with a Hotel. The wifi isn't super fast, but comparable with different coffee shops across SF. It does the job, and the coffee is good.

I stopped by here with a group of four on a Saturday night. Got a chocolate strawberry smoothie, and a few other coffee and tea beverages. My smoothie had zero sweetness, and I could not taste any strawberry or chocolate flavor. It was very strange and kinda gross. Either there was something spoiled in the beverage (such as the fruit or milk) or they loaded it with artificial ingredients that are simply unpalatable. It would be different if the flavor was just weak, as I'll still sip on a bland or watered down smoothie. But what I got was not drinkable at all, and I had to throw it away. Everyone else who got a basic coffee or tea said their drinks were fine, not great but at least tolerable. Perhaps it was an off day, but I probably won't be back. I still gave this place 2 stars cuz staff was friendly and the place was cute with a few seats inside for hanging out with family and friends.

The barista staff are the loveliest people! I needed to use the bathroom, but someone was using it at the time, and the barista was kind enough to let me know when the person was out and handed me the key card. Every interaction with them was so sweet. The inside is a wonderful place to hunker down for an afternoon chat or a work session. The seats are super comfy and there are little tables. We went around 2pm on Saturday, and there was plenty of seating. We got the matcha latte! Pretty smooth and frothy.

This is for their açai bowl as my husband will drive 15 minutes to get theirs and think it's the best in the city and perhaps anywhere overall

the breakfast bagel ($10) was great when hot & fresh but the bagel got hard pretty fast once it cooled down. the place is pretty small and has limited seating. staff were pretty friendly!

Ordered the Avocado Toast with a side of bacon. Extra points for the tasty, not very toasted, but holds up to eating by hand. Looks like the entire menu is grab & go. The avocado toast was beautifully presented topped with a lovely purple nasturtium, sans the utilitarian foam container. Menu has an abundance of bagel combinations, as well as some fine coffee & tea. Inside is 4 cafe tables, facing the windows, marble tops, cherry red stylish chairs. Theres a long banquet bench hugging the picture windows. Found out the cafe rents space in the Infinity Hotel by Hilton. That explains the classy chairs & fire pit outside. There's seems to be a 50/50 mix of locals, & tourists from the many motels (really cool vintage neon signs) dotting Lombard St. This is not the famous twisty portion of the street, rather, on a busy, noisy throughway towards the Golden Gate Bridge. I'll be returning to Twisted St. cafe for sure.

Came here after a run and got the salmon avocado toast. Good: - The salmon avocado was very pretty! In practice, it fell apart as I ate it though and it was well seasoned at least - The inside is heated which is great on a super cold day and there's a few small tables so about 10 people could fit inside - Food came quickly Bad: - Not too much seating inside - Small portion size but decently expensive - Nothing that blew my mind Overall wouldn't come back but it was okay, not the most memorable experience

I got their tropical smoothie and was disappointed. The fruits had no natural sweetness and it just didn't taste like much. The coffee here tastes great tho! I would come back to try their cardamom latte again. Good small space to grab a bite as well. Barry's Marina is across the street so convenient post-workout!

Food we ordered: - Tom yum omelette w/ shrimp - Thai tea French toast - Drunken noodles w/ chicken -- the noodles they used are not the typical noodles I'm used to but it was filled with flavor with a kick of spice. - Tom yum noodle soup w/ crispy chicken -- my favorite dish!! The crispy chicken was recommended by the server and it truly did not disappoint. The chicken was crisp and juicy and the noodles were cooked perfectly. For drinks we got the Thai iced tea, butterfly lychee fizz, and the coconut milk latte. I got the Thai ice tea less sweet and it was perfect for me ( I usually don't like it super sweet). The butterfly lychee fizz was very refreshing (could be less sweet for me) and the coffee was also very good! In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
