Fiddleheads has the BEST coffee in the Ozaukee area. Starbucks, Alterra, Stone Creek, Smith Bros., and Java Dock have nothing on their beans. Their coffee NEVER tastes burnt or bitter, not even their espresso! I never have to add multiple packs of sweetener to cut that burnt flavor you usually have at other cafes. On top of the best coffee ever, their food is pretty good! I love the hummus sandwich (Garbanzo the Great) and the vegan macaroons. :) YUM!!! read more

6:30 pm Friday night stopped for a latte to drink at the park. Shop was empty, no wait. Barista was hurried, coffee was awful. Left for park but after a few sips turned around and asked her to remake the latte. Second drink was very good by fiddleheads standards. I don't expect perfection just really good espresso. I used the separate room upstairs at the Cedarburg location for my daughters confirmation reception. We had top notch service! Justin called a few days prior to confirm and review my food order. He was very informative and helpful. The day of the event the entire staff at Fiddleheads was more than accommodating. Justine provided us with more chairs and a pitcher of water. All the food was brought upstairs at a designated table and along with the food; the coffee and pastries were a big hit. The small things do get noticed! Thanks again staff at Cedarburg Fiddleheads!! Whenever I come to Cedarburg, this is the first place I go. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly, and the building has seating in the main floor, upstairs, and outside. The only con is if you have a stroller or elderly person, you might need an extra hand getting into the building because of the steps. read more

Honestly I've never been a huge coffee fan, so that unfortunately prevents them from getting my full rating since I cannot truly appreciate that aspect of the café. However, I do enjoy their selections of teas, Italian sodas, and various soups, sandwhiches, and fresh baked goods. I would give 0 stars if I could. RIDICULOUSLY rude service. Took our order, wasn't listening, turned around to say some remark to coworkers behind him (like goofing around), then said "what did you want?" So we repeated ourselves. He then went on to say "I guess I'm getting attitude from all sides today" Are you kidding me???? Did you actually just say to my mom that she was giving you attitude? No wonder you're in your 30s working a job a college kid should have. Completely unemployable. I'm so disgusted right now. I've never been talked to like that. By anyone. I've worked in a coffee shop before, I know customers can be difficult, so I would NEVER treat someone with that job poorly. I will never step foot in this place again. How insulting. read more

Everything that I have gotten at Fiddleheads has been absolutely wonderful. The coffee is great but what I really fell in love with was the strawberry banana smoothie. I am a bit addicted to smoothies and have never really found anywhere that sells smoothies as good as I would make home made but when I had Fiddleheads I was immediately addicted. They make it right in front of you after you order so you know it's fresh. It has very nice eating areas in and out doors. There is even a quiet study area upstairs that barley anyone uses. If you want a place to sit and talk or just stop in for a quick fix Fiddleheads is amazing. read more

I regularly visit a friend in Brown Deer, and never miss an opportunity to stop at Fiddleheads. The coffee is good, the surroundings comfortable and the scones are delicious. The baristas are personable and accommodating. Fiddleheads coffee cafe is a winner. read more

I LOVE this adorable coffee shop. I've been coming here for years, even when it was a different owner/name. It is really a great neighborhood coffee shop. PLUS, I had a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich there for the first time and it was SO GOOD. Not sure if it was the bread, the meat, or the whole thing, but it was really tasty. Ew. Not going back here. Coffee isn't rocket science. There a plenty of places to get a great cup to not have to deal with unproffesional bratty baristas. My boyfriend and I walked in. The girl at the counter kept her head down with attention to some preparation chore. We were the only ones there. Not even a smile or hello. Then my bf grabbed a cookie out of the jar which was right there on the counter. She finally looked upand said "I can get that for u" "I don't want the health inspector to come in and see customers grabbing thier own cookies" WOW! what awful customer service! No hello and then a reprimanding? What? Ther should be a note or sign to let customers know, especially if the employees aren't even greeting people or talking to them at all whatsoever. Then we left with our coffee and chai. Their mix of chai is super weak. Probably an economical move on their part. It is delicious Oregon chai, and a little bit of the concentrate would have brought the cup to life. I told her it was bland and asked if she could add some. She said, "that's just our mix, its just how we make it, I can charge u more" what!!! It would have been less than an ounce or so!!! Awful C.S. I am a heavy volume protfesional bartender.
