    latte and scone

I've been to several of the other Fiddleheads. I find them to be well-designed, offering quality products, and staffed with great people. My first visit to this location was consistent with my past experiences. This location is large, with multiple areas for seating -- tables inside several rooms and an outdoor patio. Lots of windows bring in natural light. It was busy, yet the noise level allowed for easy conversation. Got a super friendly greeting from the barista (who was doing a great job of taking and making orders). Ordered my London Fog (tea latte with a little vanilla, a little lavender, and extra foam) with a Lavender Blueberry Scone. The latte was good, and the scone was decent (but its texture was more cake-like than I prefer). A very good experience. Would be glad to stop by again.

Friendly staff, ample seating, great coffee, and good breakfast sandwiches! The Ham Gouda Croissant is delicious. I also love the layout of this location, as it offers different types of seating areas.

Came here a few weeks ago for a quick caffeine pick-me-up as I was otherwise occupied running errands 'round town (you know, prior to #saferathome). They roast (not at this location, but, locally, in Wisconsin) their own beans and have a fun, inventive specialty coffee menu. They also have a small selection of pastries and other goodies. I ended up ordering a mocha from their specialty coffee menu as well as a pbj muffin. First of all... Why didn't I ever think of combining peanut butter and jelly in a muffin?!? Because, it's good, my friends. The jelly was a little overly sweet (and I ended up taking some off), but other than that it was a peanut butter packed marvel. The mocha was solid, though, their espresso doesn't have quite as robust a flavor as I typically prefer. They were quiet when I was in and have plenty of tables. Could definitely be a good spot to work (again, after #saferathome). While their cafes are currently closed, according to their website, you can still order locally roasted beans to help support them as we all stay safe and socially distant.

Id rather go to Starbucks or Alterra/Colectivo. Prices are slightly more than those two places and not that great of quality.

I would give Jersey Mikes a sold 4 stars on my dining experience today…read more I heard so much about their Chicken Salad going viral, so I needed to try it out. A former NY housewife I believe said it was very mayo based, but I could be wrong. The chicken salad I received was lite mayo and had nice big chunks of chicken. I thought it could have been seasoned a little more, but I have to say it was pretty damn good. I will probably have 1 more before the weekend coming up ends. The worked were nice and quick and greeted everyone who came in. The restaurant was cleans and a lot of light.

The counter runs along the left when you enter, and the right side of the shop has plenty of seating next to the big bright windows. The whole experience however felt a bit discombobulated. Between the ordering, paying, circling back to build your sandwich, not exactly a place to wait for the order to be complete... I don't know just a little messy. The other folks in line with me looked equally confused. To be fair, with this being a new location clearly it's a new team of folks working to iron out the kinks. Give it a few months and I'm sure it will be a well-oiled machine. Highlight: The sammies were pretty darn good! Lowlight: My order was wrong. My husband opted for the BLT and enjoyed it. He shared half of it with me and took half of my Philly cheese steak, since it wasn't what I was hoping for. I had originally ordered the chicken Philly, as I much prefer chicken over steak, so it was a bummer to open the order. However, it was certainly still flavorful, and even more so filling! I've always enjoyed Jersey Mike's so no doubt we'll return to give them another go sometime.

Their menu consists largely of Mac & Cheese, wraps, paninis and frozen custard. Being a Wisconsinite it really resonates with me. I get the classic "original" mac and cheese every time. It's always consistently good and it's still warm after my 20 minute drive home. They use a less common noodle that is quite large and the portion is generous too. The other menu item I'm always to is the shake of the week. They always have a different one and they're always good. Oh, and I have to mention their salads. Not for me, but my mother likes them as much a salad she gets anywhere else. Another thing I appreciate is the fact they have an app. An app for a local place isn't common in my experience. This makes it easy to order in advance so you can skip the line, skip the phone call and better still earn rewards. Finally, I have to commend a few of the guys who work here. Two gentlemen in particular who both are always pleasant and personable, which alone is commendable, but they've also both been there a few years. They both seem to be managers, but I'm not sure, though I wanted to recognize them. Both are older than the general staff and both are there various weekdays.

It's not the best food I've ever had, but where else can you go to get a matzah ball like this? Food: The food is good, but I wouldn't call it spectacular. I usually order the chicken soup with matzah balls. For me, the soup itself has always been a bit blah, more like a very thin chicken broth. The matzah ball is really the star of the show. I also noticed what other people were eating, and the corned beef sandwich and potato pancakes looked very good. Most people cleaned their plates, which is always a good sign. Service: Service has always been very good. Quick and efficient is the name of the game here. I got a spot at the counter, seated between two other people. Menus, ordering, and the check all happened without much waiting. The servers are friendly, but always on the move. There's not much idle chatter. Atmosphere: The place feels worn, but clean. The large windows bring in lots of natural light. There is booth, table, and counter seating. They fit a lot of people into the space, but it doesn't feel overcrowded. With that many people, the noise level can get loud. Pro tip: The parking lot is small and shared with several other businesses. It's usually best to find a spot on the street.
