This place is a disappointment. Yes it is basically Starbucks. Let's just call it what it is. But why the hell did you come to DCA to have Starbucks. I recently came with my girlfriend after learning that the rest of DCA's restaurants were no longer taking any reservations. We were hungry so the only food item they had were their basic cafe sandwich (that came in two options), or their Starbucks breakfast sandwiches. So out of the option of turkey and roast beef I went with their turkey. My girlfriend went with their roast beef option. My turkey sandwich contained turkey, tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, swiss cheese, in a croissant, with some fruit on the side. The croissant was DRY DRY DRY. After putting some condiments in it, it was still dry. The turkey was also dry. Boo. The only good thing was the fresh fruits. Some were sweet, some weren't. My girlfriend's roast beef was the same sad story. While we were trying to eat our food, some girls walked by, looked at our sandwiches and left without order. So Sad. Starbucks and DCA prices combine. Our sandwiches were $10 each but not worth it because of the quality. My Yelp photos just don't do the justice of how awful they were. During my life thus passed, there have been, to date, eleven cups of coffee connected with critically-important, paradigm-shifting phenomena that immediately and eternally changed the course of my life. A good strong, usually very necessary dose of caffeine to quell the Disney Magic that stacks and grows and half-lifes like toxic chemicals bioaccumulate as they articulate up through an ecosystem. This Disney/Starbucks cross-pollination project is surprisingly respectful to the traditions of both super-conglomerates. While the lines are usually long, their queuing system keeps things moving, such that you really don't wait much longer in any other popular Starbucks location. True to form, there really isn't anywhere to sit inside... Except instead of a parliament of high school kids parked in stools, their faces illuminated with the soft, lifeless glow of a MacBook, the FFP seats are permanently affixed to the hindquarters of corpulent Disney aficionados, their superfluous masses often extending far beyond the perimeters of the chairs designed to support humans half their size, and slowly but surely succumbing to the effects of gravity on their semi-viscous flesh cushions. Which is to say, your best bet is to make your purchases with some minor planning and timing, such that you'll get your beverage and enjoy it while watching the Pixar Parade. Disney annual pass discount works here, too. It ain't much, but as I have alluded in previous Disney-themed Yelp reviews, any retail savings enjoyed at Disneyland can, nay, MUST be applied to churro purchases. Have a magical day. read more

This is a great place to come and relax in the middle of the day and just take a breather. It's better than the Starbucks on Main Street in Disneyland because there is a large sitting area inside and outside, and you don't have to fight to find a seat. There's also two sides for the line, which is helpful to keep the area from getting crowded and the wait time down. They don't have all of the same items that you would find at an outside Starbucks, but they have the basics and some of the seasonal lattes available. You don't really need a full Starbucks menu here anyway, and they're really good about substitutions and add ons. The only down side is that you can't use your Starbucks reward card when you check out, but they do give a discount for pass holders. read more

So, if you need your morning cuppa Joe or a steaming hot chocolate while you watch World of Color you'll get it here and be inside the park. Also a good selection of quick snacks and meals at a decent price - make the kiddos happy. Lots of seating inside and enough outside as well. Great decor and atmosphere. It can be a little loud inside when packed. Outside is a good place to have a cuppa, get off your feet, and people watch. Outside is also a good vantage point to sit and watch Newsboys show and Five and Dime as they perform in Cathay Circle - a great replica of 1920's LA. Always a favourite stop for me. read more

It's basically a Starbucks inside California Adventure, as soon as you enter. What can I say about this particular Starbucks that I haven't already said for a million other Starbucks i've visited? The line moves fast, the inside is large with seating areas both inside and outside. They offer all your traditional Starbucks drinks (except they don't do seasonal, bummer) and have some of Disney parks normal snacks along with it, plus the limited edition 60th Anniversary Diamond Cupcake. It does get pretty crowded but the line moves rather quickly. Sometimes quicker than a regular Starbucks store. They have their own Disney cups, which is awesome. And you can get a discount if you're a season pass holder and let's be real, nowadays, who isn't? read more

I was here in November and though the lines were extremely long, I appreciated the generous seating area- a perfect place to relax and catch a break in the midst of the craziness and fun that is Disney. I loved that it was a Starbucks as well as a sandwich place. They had the full Starbucks menu plus main dish food and a bakery. I thought the roast beef sandwich was extremely good- surprisingly good. I even ordered it without cheese and it was still had great flavor. It came with chips that were also good. They have great bakery items too- I got a huge chocolate cupcake that was adorable and tasty- people walking by kept commenting on it! I found the menu really limited- I think they only had three main choices for main dish items. One of the signs said there were assorted cold sandwiches but I didn't see those anywhere in the case or in the front where you order. There is an ice cream shop in the same building but it had different (and shorter) lines. This is a very popular place so bring your patience. I highly recommend the roast beef sandwich! read more

A Starbucks in disguise!! I guess when you are Disney Inc. you can ask other companies to do special things. Otherwise the menu is a bit extended from the Starbucks. When I went they haven't had the La Boulange treatment -- the pastries and sandwiches seem to be from the older Starbucks café stuff, which I have no problems with. After waiting 10 mins and seeing everyone after me, get their drinks and food I asked about my cookie. The staff did the best they could I'm sure, but the only reason I stood in those lines was to get the special Mickey shaped brownie desert they were offering for the 90th Mickey and Minnie anniversary. It was good, so there was at least that consolation for the long line wait. There were also plenty of indoor seating since I imagine lots of people order coffee and then leave immediately to hit the park. Overall, my caffeine addiction isn't strong enough to bring me pack to this place if the lines are always this long, but I might do it again for a special treat. read more

I know this is *technically* a Starbucks but it was seriously so convenient while we were at the parks. Yes, it's crowded and the lines are long BUT you're at Disneyland...what did you expect? Despite the long lines, they did a great job with the crowds and the service is great. What I really love is that they accept Starbucks giftcards, have a full bakery, and also offer fresh yogurt parfaits (which were my favorite for breakfast!). You can expect the standard Starbucks items on the menu. If you don't feel like having breakfast at IHOP or Denny's or other Disney restaurants, this is, in my opinion, the best option for a quick bite to start your day at the parks. read more

Such a long name just to say, "starbucks". Honestly, that's the easiest way to say where to go or meet up with your friends. Fiddler, Fifer and Practical? Really? the 3 little pigs? Cute disney naming/themeing, but not easy to say. Aside from that, the location has a TON of seating inside and outside. There are two lines at the front, left or right, doesn't matter they're both the same, except the number of people in the lines.. They serve starbucks drinks and snacks/pastries (not just starbucks brewed coffee like a hotel would have), and they also have the standard Disney food/snacks. They DO accept your starbucks gold cards and gift cards here, and you DO get your points, but I'm not sure if you get your perks (free soy upgrade.. i haven't tried yet). *cute personalization: some of the baristas will put mickey heads around your name, especially if your name has "i"s in it. :) read more

The green's a little too minty for my taste, but the unsweetened black is right up my alley. They'll sweeten it for you if you want, but I prefer it without the sugary taste. Oddly, the tea here is slightly cheaper than the Gold Peak tea brand sold at any of the other Disney restaurants/vendors. Tastes better too. They also sell coffee's and other drinks and snacks. In any event, this place is the Fiddler Fifer & Practical Cafe - in other words it's a fancy name for starbucks in the Disney resort. This starbucks though always has a long line. You can get a few other items beside coffee, but it seems like this is the go to place for everyone coming to the parks as every employee I overheard gets asked about this specific Starbucks - apparently it's the only place to get that mermaid logo crack. Price wise, well, it's the same you'll find at any stand alone starbucks. Which is to say you're paying way too much for a cup of coffee. The line is also another factor as it always has one. Perhaps my viewpoint on this is a little skewed because I don't require that black gold to keep myself up, alert and awake. Just not my thang, you hear. But if you are jonsing for that venti-crack, this is a must stop location for you. The food treats they offer as light nibbles all seem very skimpy and over priced - which is saying something because I am factoring in the cost you usually deal with in getting food in the park. Still, if your tank is on empty and your rugrats are on that last nerve before you snap, I can see you coming here to get a bit wired. read more

When I first met my husband, nearly nine years ago now, I was an affirmed Starbucks hater. Somewhere along the way he convinced me to try them and now I am semi-ashamed to say that I am fully drinking the kool-aid (or the iced sugar free vanilla latte, if you will). I guess it is fair, since I indoctrinated him into the cult of Disney. When Disney California Adventure redid their entry plaza into Buena Vista Street to look like LA in the 1920's when Walt first arrived, I was thrilled to see it first hand. I was even more thrilled to hear that they had partnered with Starbucks and that I could now feed two addictions at once. During our five day trip to Disneyland I was here no less than three times and we ate lunch here as well as getting coffees. One really nice thing for us, is that they have both Disney and Starbucks food in this location. We have two small children who can be very picky eaters. After several meals where they refused to touch their food (because the pasta was bell shaped and not spaghetti, ugh!) it was a relief to be able to order them a breakfast sandwich where we knew they would eat all the components and actually get some protein into them (they have an affection for the sausage breakfast sandwiches, which you can get all day long). All of the food here was good, both sandwiches and pastries and the baristas are Starbucks trained. They actually got my drink right everytime, which the Starbucks near my house can only sometimes do. The seating areas here are large, spacious and have plenty of highchairs. There was always staff out sweeping and keeping the place meticulously clean. Attached is also an ice cream and candy shop that you can also take into the cafe to sit and eat. The decor here is based on a fictious 1920's sister act and there are pictures and artifacts all around. The large windows are the perfect viewpoint for looking out and seeing the various shows that go on outside. read more

The workers here don't listen and when you try to correct them, they said that the customer lied. I asked cashier if they sold the Midnight Mint Mocha Frap, since it wasn't on their menu and she said yes. I also asked her for decaf because it was for my daughter. When I received my order, they ended up making a Mocha Frap. I said, I ordered a Midnight Mint Mocha Frap, Decaf and they said they don't carry that here. I told them the cashier told me they did. They asked me which cashier and when I pointed the one out, she said, "I never told him that". So I asked them to make a Double Chocolate Chip Frap, which the guy behind the counter said, he knew what I wanted. I gave my daughter the frap, she told me it tasted funny and when I looked at what they wrote, it was the Java Chip Frap. This time, I went to a different counter (left one vs the right one) and they were able to finally make the correct one. Very disappointed in their service and their lack of attention to detail. Not very happy that the cashier called me a liar too. I gave them two stars because they didn't mess up my drink. read more

Right after getting in the CRAZY fastpass line for Radiator Springs, my bf & I came here. The line was pretty long but what do you expect? It's the only place that serves Starbucks in the two parks! Their cups are sooooo adorable!! I really wished they sold gift cards with some kind of Disney decal like that on it ): They DO take Starbucks cards but they don't actually sell them. I ordered a CBL & a chocolate croissant and oh, did that hit the spot! My bf opted for their roast beef sandwich (which was nearly $10), it came with a side of chips but it looked too greasy for me that early on. I would definitely recommend that you check this cafe out! There's plenty of indoor seating with a bunch of black and white photos. There's an ice cream / candy shop connected to it too! There are several tables outside of the cafe & in my opinion, the better option because the view is fantastic. You can sit back & admire Carthay Circle restaurant & the water fountain. There was no line for us here at the 1pm on Friday. We weren't sure what food they offered because their wall menu is incomplete and their plastic menus were missing, but they have a few breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and select lunch items like a salad (with or without turkey) and two sandwich options. I had the roast beef on pretzel roll and regret it. The bread was very thick and dense and ice cold. The meat was very bad tasting. The horseradish was very bland. Their salad was not very fresh and also pretty bland. The breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese muffin was pretty typical. The saving grace of the breakfast menu is everything is about $5 (served all day), which is cheap by Disney standards. However, the lunch items are all in the $8-$10 range. As everyone else has stated, it's effectively a Starbucks that also serves a little more food than usual. read more
