After many trips to Disneyland I finally got my hands on the black caf cold brew. I was skeptical at first thinking it was going to be strong since it's a cold brew or thought maybe it will be over hyped but NO! It was delicious!!! & literally drank it all immediately! Service was extremely quick and friendly! Ambiance was great of course & I appreciated the fact that they had outlets all over so I had a chance to recharge my phone!! Next time I NEED to try their bao buns that looked delicious!
Yes! Get the chicken bao ! So good and the famous coffee!!! I will say that the staff in this area are really mean for some reason, being that it's Disneyland they could be happier. But the food was tasty.
I actually tried the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew at Pym Test Kitchen a little over a week ago and I would like to change my rating. I thought the Cold Brew Black Caf was going to be better and I was so wrong! After one sip, I was missing the Cookies & Cream Cold Brew! It's way way better than the Black Caf. Sorry, not sorry. I'm glad I tried it, but not a fan of this one. It was super busy and the line was ridiculously long. I only wanted the Cold Brew Black Caf and thought waiting in the line for just one drink is silly. Thank goodness for mobile ordering!
This is definitely your place for the healthiest eats like a salad with some quinoa. The Galactic dessert was like Michelin star quality.
The restaurant was on brand for a Star Wars theme. The service was great and friendly. Ordered on the Disneyland app and was able to pick up right away. It was nice to have an alternative to waiting in line. The food was good but was a bit overpriced for being what it was. Still would recommend eating here. The macarons had to be my favorite. It had a nice refreshing taste. During lunch time, available tables can be hard to find. There is seating however, indoors and outdoors. This place is also close to the restrooms.
Came here during the lunch rush, and I will say that we were al surprised with how fast the line moved. We got our food very quickly and didn't have too much trouble finding a place to sit. As far as Disney dining options, this is one of my favorite places to go. The flavors of the food here is always pretty decent. The only thing is that often times the portions are a tad small, and at least in the case of my sandwich, the ratios can be a little off. And it goes without saying prices can get expensive. We also got the dessert and cold brew. The cookies were a bit sweet, but the cold brew was very yummy. I see why so many people talk about it. We also got the cheesy noodles, but they were admittedly a bit bland. The sandwich meat/fillings were flavorful, there just wasn't much of it. Overall decent food, especially for a theme park. We enjoyed the food here. Nothing super amazing but solid lunch option.
If you're into cold brew this place is a must try if you are inside Disneyland. The cold brew runs around $8.39. But well worth it. I was craving this the next day and wanted another one. Themed after a Star Wars hangar bay where galactic citizens transport food, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is a dim, immersive casual eatery that has imaginative dishes designed to look like alien creations. Based on past menus and what I've tried, it tends towards Asian-American fusion, with chicken tip-yip, salad, and a beef dish always available. Some seasonal items may include Mediterranean, pasta, or curry. I like how eclectic the food variety is as you'll never know what new flavors and visuals they will have. - Fried Chicken Baos This tasted more generic and Americanized that I expected, as it was just straight up a plain soft bun with a thick chicken tender slathered in sweet chili sauce. It's topped with some slices of cucumber and an Asian slaw. It made for a messy light meal that didn't taste too bad, though I wouldn't get it again due to the sweetness. - Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip My version of the fried chicken dish came with roasted pepper mash, country gravy, and charred broccolini. The sides and flavor tend to change up once in a while. It was a pretty good comfort meal with creamy mashed potatoes and healthy greens. The chicken was as crispy as it could be, though it was obvious it had been under a heat lamp since it lacked just a bit of moisture. The bottom got a little soggy from the gravy. This was satisfying despite being theme park fried chicken. - Cold Brew Black Caf It's basically creamy coffee topped with cocoa puffs. It looks cute, and my friends said it was okay. Considering how popular this place gets, the line moves efficiently, and it doesn't take too long to get food. If you have multiple members in your party, you may want to have at least one person claim a table while the rest are ordering.
Fun themed dining experience inside the park Had the roasted Endorian tip-yip chicken salad and mac and cheese at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo and honestly the themed experience made the meal enjoyable. The chicken salad was flavorful for theme park food. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, and the salad felt light but still filling enough for a lunch break while walking around the park. The mac and cheese was creamy, comforting, and a good side to balance everything out. Service moved pretty efficiently even with the crowds, and the ordering process was smooth. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight here. The whole space really immerses you into the Star Wars universe with detailed decor, themed dishes, and a fun sci-fi vibe that makes the experience more memorable than regular park dining. Overall, a solid stop inside Galaxy's Edge if you want a themed meal that's also more balanced than typical amusement park food.

My family of Disney fans obsess over the Black Caf Cold Brew which was the reason why I had come to check it out. However, after trying some of their other food options, I also would say it is one of the better dine in restaurants as well! Here is what I ordered on a most recent trip: Black Caf Cold Brew (4.5/5): The main draw! Basically a cold brew coffee with a layer of creamy foam and cocoa puff cereal. Especially on a hot day, this hits the spot! The cereal adds that chocolatey flavor with a little crunch. If only there was a little bit more coffee flavor, this would be perfect. This is so popular that they have them pre-made which I understand but also wish they made more fresh to order... Surabat Valley Greens with Roasted Tip-Yip (4.5/5): While Disney has definitely stepped up their food game, there are only few that have greens. Pleasantly surprised with this one since the chicken was juicy and seasoned well with a nice citrus dressing to balance it. If looking for a salad, you could easily get worst but this was pretty good! Given how busy it gets, the general recommendation is to mobile order! Especially if you know what general time you are going to swing by, I would check to see the times because sometimes it could several time slots out already. Overall, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will likely continue being my go-to spot for coffee and food in Disneyland!
Was here on a Saturday, mobile ordered at around 10:30am and our pick up time was 12pm when it was the time to pick up, it was very fast and efficient! note to self: order before peak lunch rush. great drink to have while you wait in the rise of the resistance line cold brew black caf 10/10 I totally get the hype around this drink!! It looks so unassuming but it was the perfect amount of creaminess and the coffee flavor came through. The cereal made the drink so fun to consume! Cereal does get soggy as cereal does though, wish i ate it more in the beginning before it got soggy meiloorun run 9/10 only had a couple of sips but it was very refreshing. basically a super fruity lemonade

Food: 9/10 - Fried Chicken Bao: so good!! Must try! - Cold Brew Cafe: one of the best drinks I've had ! Love the coco puffs! - Meiloorun Juice: yummy and refreshing! A little sweet but really good on a hot day! This is located in Star War's Galaxy Edge. It's hard to miss because there's a ship located on top of the restaurant. This is also home to the famous Black Caf Cold Brew (my favorite)! I love the theme and every little detail. There's indoor seating and outdoor seating. It can be difficult to find a table and seat since it's always busy. You can mobile order or wait in line to order at the register. Mobile ordering in Disney is different compared to the usual mobile ordering elsewhere. You'd choose a pick up window timeframe, and you have to wait for that timeframe to pick up your mobile order. If you arrive early, you still have to wait. Sometimes ordering at the register is quicker than mobile ordering. Majority of the cast members we encountered were nice. Throughput was quick and efficient. I tried a couple food options here. I thought portions were decent. The food is heavy, but you'll walk off the calories easily. Prices are expensive .. as usual lol. The only reason why I keep coming back is for the Black Caf Cold Brew. This is their Joffrey cold brew topped with cream cheese cold foam and cocoa puff cereal. I looove anything cream cheese. Joffrey cold brew is bitter, but the cream cheese foam gives it a perfect sweet balance. read more

Located in Docking Bay 7 in Star Wars Land in Disneyland, this spot offers immersive interior design. Felt as if I'm truly in a cargo docking area. Good job disney, as usual with design. Surabat Valley Greens with Roasted Tip-Yip (6/10) = COLD SALAD - I get that it says "Greens," but I totally missed that this was a COLD SALAD lol...Need to work on my reading comprehension with these Disney menus man. - Chicken was good, seasoned well, and pretty juicy. Enjoyed that part - I'm not usually a salad eater in amusement parks, so when the dish came out, I was a little confused, but oh well. Flavor of the dressing is nice, a little tart/sour with orangy/lemony flavor. They also have these interesting red tiny pepper-esque bits that are delicious. - However, I think I'd have preferred chicken with rice and some side veggies Overall, Surabat Valley Greens with Roasted Tip-Yip = COLD SALAD!!!! Other items are hot with rice and meats. The "Roasted Tip-Yip" is hot chicken and was seasoned well. Gotta read the menu better next time. read more
I came here because of a reel I saw on Instagram while prepping for my food map adventure at Disney. The person in the video was praising the Fried Endorian Tip-Yip, claiming it was better than the fried chicken at Plaza Inn, and the comment section was on fire lol. So out of curiosity I just have to put it to the test. Disney also did such a great job at decoration and theme for each section of the park. Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo look amazing, very sci-fi, out of this world, feels like I was in Star Wars even though I haven't even watch the movie...(please don't come at me). Mobile order was convenient and quick, totally recommended after I saw a line at ordering kiosk when picking up my food. Staff were friendly and helpful. I got the Endorian Tip-Yip in kids meal size just because I only want to try it out and there are more spots I want to eat at the park, but I absolutely regret it, should have gone with the regular order. It was pretty good, the chicken was fried to perfection and still juicy inside, mac and cheese was smooth, broccolini was crunchy, everything was seasoning just right. Overall it was a good experience, I enjoyed my mini while dine-in and submerge myself inside the world of Sci-fi. read more
Tried the popular Cold Brew Black Caf @ Docking Bay on my trip to Disney! I mobile ordered it around 11:30 and ended up picking it up at around 1:30 which was the next available time slot because of the high demand, so the service could've been faster. That being said, I think it lived up to the hype. It wasn't as bitter as I expected, but it also wasn't overly sweet. The price was pretty decent for Disneyland. The ambiance was nice and I also really enjoyed the cocoa puff topping. read more
First coffee of the day at 6PM. Cold brew black caf is one of my most favorite drinks here at Disneyland. Pretty much a bang for your buck with the quality of the drink. Overall Docking Bay 7 is a good dine place, clean and fast service, with a pretty good seating area to rest for a bit. This is seriously one of the best and most consistent food spots in all of Disneyland! Their fried chicken might be the best in the park, up there with Plaza Inn's fried chicken. Very flavorful and moist. Also really enjoyed how unique their mashed potatoes are with the addition of mashed red peppers in them, adding a subtle sweetness and lightness. And of course their Cold Brew Black Caf is a classic, might be my favorite coffee at the parks. Easy mobile ordering and always plenty of seating. Great theming too and really feels part of the Star Wars world inside, just like the rest of Galaxy's Edge. read more

After my latest trip to Disneyland, I've made the entertaining discovery that all I do is come here for the Cold Brew Black Caf. So this review is solely 5 stars for this drink. I absolutely love it and get it every time. It's the perfect balance of coffee and whimsy. The coco puffs on top are always crispy, and I especially love the ice pellets they have at this location. The line for this location is typically to the door, so I highly recommend Mobile Order for this dreamy coffee. They have massive inside and outside seating and movable chairs. read more
If you're here- you've heard of the Black Caf Cold Brew. It's a cold brew drink topped with cream cheese foam and cocoa puffs. We got one to share at first because we weren't sure how sweet it was going to be. Welp, we immediately got back in line to get another one because it was PERFECT! This place is decent for park food. I've been here several times and depending on which item I get my rating changes. This time around I had the cold brew and fried chicken bao. Cold brew black caf 5/5 always hit the spot. Especially in the am or when you need that caffeine hit. They need to have this available as soon as rope drop opening. Fried chicken bao 4.5/5 I was surprised by how much I like this dish. The chicken pieces have excellent crunch. Batter wasn't overwhelmingly thick. Sauce was really good! It has a kick so if you're sensitive to spicy food this might not be for you. The slaw gives that sour fresh balance to the fried chicken. I took half a star away because the bao falls apart. There is no way to eat this without utensils. So ask for utensils at the pick up area. Other than that I would totally get this again. Mobile order your food as soon as you get in the park! read more
One of the best dining spots in Disneyland. I placed a mobile order on the app and went to pick up when it is ready. Seating available indoors and outdoors. Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip: Chicken was crispy, tender and juicy. Mashed potatoes were really creamy. Broccolini was cooked perfectly. Fried Chicken Baos: Salad and cucumbers were refreshing. Sauce was sweet and tangy. Chicken was delicious. Cold Brew Black Caf: was a bit too bitter for me. Didn't care much for the chocolate puffs. My boyfriend enjoyed it though. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. Very satisfying. Portion was decent. Price is average for theme park. read more
Docking Bay 7 is an amazing looking place in the Star Wars area of the park. It looks absolutely amazing stunning the music is accurate and there's plenty of seating. With that being said the service can sometimes be slow because they are so busy highly recommended ordering using the app to speed up the process. I'm not a big coffee person but the cold brew is so goddamn damn delicious. You wouldn't think its coffee. So much flavor packed in to it. Highly recommended to give you the pick me up during a long Disney day. read more
Personally, I think this is one of the best quick service foods that Disneyland offers. The restaurant is decorated to be an immersive experience for everyone! The black caf cold brew has become one of my favorite drinks in the entire park and has been extremely popular on social media. It comes out to be ~$7.70 with a magic key discount. The fried chicken baos are delicious! The couple times that I've gotten them, the chicken has a nice crunch and isn't soggy from the sweet chili sauce they add on top. The bao doesn't add a heaviness to the dish. I usually just pick it up and eat it as if it was a taco. The dish is $14.99 before tax which is a little on the expensive side. The cast members that handle trays and cleaning tables are super attentive. They offer to take your tray and dishes as soon as you stand up and leave the dining area. They clean tables for other guests as soon as we leave. read more

Haiku: Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo Quick-service dining Casual and immersive spot Get Cold Brew Black Caf. --- Docking Bay is by far the coolest spot to dine in Disneyland. When you eat at this immersive, industrial-themed restaurant, it truly transforms you into a hangar bay on Batuu. The food can be unique and adventurous--just like the Star Wars-inspired dish names. A couple of menu items rotate seasonally, but most are mainstays. You must order the Endorian Fried Chicken Tip-Yip: chicken is crispy and succulent over some comfort red pepper mash with gravy. Serving it with broccolini was a nice touch. There's also a kid's meal fried chicken version served with mac & cheese and veggies. Another popular and unforgettable item is their Cold Brew Black Caf: Cold brew coffee topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate puffs. This is my favorite coffee drink of choice because of bold coffee taste balanced by the smooth and sweet creamy foam and cocoa puffs crunchy texture. (This inspired me to recreate this drink at home! I now enjoy topping all my drinks with cocoa puffs.) read more

Younglings, Padawans and Jedi will enjoy refueling here. One of our favorites is actually the kid's meal, with Mac and cheese, broccolini and chicken. We've had the Fried Chicken Yip Tip and Chicken Baos before - even the Empire would agree they're pretty good. The Kublag Curry was a surprise at how flavorful it was. Service is efficient, and you wont need the Force - just mobile order ahead of time using the app. Sit outside for a great view of the Millennium Falcon. read more
Note: This is a review for the "Nighttime Gathering reservation-only service that happens nightly in the park, not the standard daily food. When I made the reservation for the Nighttime Gathering event, I did so because it was one of the last available dinner reservations left in the park on short notice (it being in the Star Wars area was a bonus). I didn't realize that I was paying for more than a multi course sampler plate and a drink! Frankly, I wish the Disneyland app was more clear about a lot of things, this included, but let's get to the food and experience. A short line formed around 7:30 at a fenced-off section in front of the restaurant with a nice view of the Millennium Falcon. We confirmed our reservation and received a lanyard and a pin to get into the restaurant (which was closed off to general public) and the event viewing area. We learned that our reservation included professional photos with the beautiful night time backdrop and the Millennium Falcon! After the photos we were let into the restaurant, picked out a choice of two custom NA drinks (or standard soft drinks) and given a cute tray of several unique foods. We were given a card that we could place on the table to indicate that we were returning after the 8:25 "Jedi Legacy" show, to which we had prime standing-only viewing right outside thanks to our lanyards. This meant we could eat some food, go see the show, then return to finish our food or order more drinks. Oh, and all NA drinks were unlimited until 9:15, including the two fancy ones! I should also mention that every single staff member was incredible friendly and helpful to my many questions about the event, considering how little was explained on the app. I'll start with the drinks. The Cold Brew Black Caf is a sweet cream coffee drink with Coco Puffs cereal on top. It was incredible. it was shockingly not overly sweet even after mixing the cream, and the Coco Puffs were like sweet crunchy boba. The Exotic Fruit soda was sweet, fruity soda topped with cotton candy. It was waaay too sweet for us but I'm sure kids will love it. The courses themselves were all tasty and interesting in different ways, some more or less in both respects. The Wonton Ginger Chicken Salad Taco was the highlight, and I wish we could have gotten 10 more of those! The mini charcuterie was very tasty with really cool "melt in your mouth" vinaigrette chips. The Cheese Burger Croquettes weren't terrible, but might not be a favorite due to the kinda odd texture. We enjoyed them regardless. The two desserts were essentially a chocolate eclair with more Coco Puffs, and a super interesting fruity cream puff. They did a great job creating a fruit flavor that was genuinely hard to nail down, making it feel alien in nature. Neither dessert was mind blowing but they were fun and not overly sweet. Finally, being able to kick back in the restaurant to wait for the fireworks at 9:30, then walk out a bit before to view them from the viewing area was amazing. A great alternative to standing on Main Street for an hour in the cold. Overall it was a really interesting experience that I'm not used to at Disney parks. We were offered several conveniences and nice features, interesting foods, unlimited drinks, and ultimately felt like VIPs for an hour or two - all for about $90 a person (without needing to tip). You can do far worse for the money at a Disney park! read more

Tried the Cold Brew Black Caf and the Fried Chicken Bao-- I have been to the Star Wars land several times and never knew about this place! My daugther heard about the cold brew and wanted to try it out. The cold brew had a rich coffee flavor, not too sweet, and the sweet cream cheese topping with the cocoa puffs added a fun twist. Super refreshing, especially on a warm day. The bao was soft and fluffy, and the fried chicken inside was crispy and flavorful. Nice balance of textures and flavor, and it didn't feel heavy. Great quick bite in Galaxy's Edge--definitely recommend both if you're visiting Batuu! read more
We were impressed with the quality and flavor of the food we ordered. My daughter had the Surabat Noodles with Crispy Marinated Eopie. A little sweet, a little spicy. I had the Surabat Valley Greens. Both were delicious and very fresh. Make sure to order through the app and you'll get your food easily. We ate inside and the tables were cleaned quickly. Really cool decor. read more

The Cold Brew Black Caf has become a must-have beverage whenever we visit the parks! It's a perfect (and much needed) midday pick-me-up that will put that pep right back into your step. It's essentially a cold brew topped with sweet cream cheese and chocolate cereal puffs. The cold brew was pretty solid, I always love a sweet and salty cream top, and the puffs added a fun crunch to it. Definitely worth a try! Would recommend ordering ahead online since this spot gets superrr busy. Pretty chaotic inside-- we really only stopped by for this specific drink. read more
Tried the Cold Brew Black Caf - it was okay. Too sweet with the sweet cream cheese foamand not enough of a coffee cold brew balance. The Cocoa Puffs on top are a lightly sweet dose. Just too bad there wasn't more of a balanced coffee flavor. I like my coffee a bit stronger, but if you like sweet coffee you'll probably enjoy this drink. read more

If you're traveling through Batuu and need a caffeine fix, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is an absolute must-visit. The themeing inside is incredible--it really feels like you're eating in a working hangar bay in a galaxy far, far away. I tried the Cold Brew Black Caf, and it was amazing! It's easily one of the most unique and delicious coffee drinks I've had in any theme park. The cold brew itself is smooth and bold, but the sweet cream cheese foam on top takes it to another level. It's topped with chocolate puffs (like Cocoa Puffs) that add a nostalgic, crunchy texture as they soak into the foam. It's the perfect balance of bitter coffee and sweet cream. The atmosphere here is 10/10. It's immersive, air-conditioned (a lifesaver on a hot Anaheim day), and the food presentation is always "out of this world." Using mobile order is highly recommended here, as it gets very busy during peak meal times. Even if you aren't hungry for a full meal, stop by just for the Cold Brew Black Caf. It's refreshing, photogenic, and the perfect fuel for a long day of fighting the Resistance! read more
