I've given enough chances and waisted enough $$$ they are not open at 6:00 am as advertised and will always be closed before advertised time. This morning was it however, company in town for the 4th. Decided to start the morning with coffee, looked up who would be open, fiddlers. Had hopes the coffee would be better in early am, we went. Nope not open. No idea when, hung out till6:15 still, nope. Used to be great coffee, the past month, month 1/2 has really been bad. Staff is nice but can't make coffee and doesn't always clean coffee press. Gave me some old coffee in front of me last week. Sorry guys, I've been coming since you opened, understand training curves, but not being open and closing early often.and over a month of yuck, repeating orders ( over & over) old coffee etc. my orders have been more wrong than right. This is one of my favorite places to go for coffee. The friendliest staff in town, incredibly well-crafted drinks and super yummy pastries and food stuffs! My family stopped by Fiddler's in Centralia while on vacation from Southern California for coffee and a light breakfast. Really impressed! Coffee was great, food selection was just right, and the environment perfect. We've been to a LOT of coffee places, but few are places we really want to hang out at. Ok place but you do not get the value for your buck. My mocha costs over $6 where others places in town it is much less. Stay is not overly friendly. They are just adequate. There are no smiles and how is your day here. The food is small portions for huge prices I ordered a pumpkin bread and the yummy ones in the window where huge and still not worth over two bucks but I could justify it when I got mine it was a third of the size of the front displays. What a rip off!!! The other stuff is small size and large in price. Coffee is ok but I prefer some local drive thrus. The atmosphere is great and that earns them the extra stars. read more

Super cute place for early morning coffee and pastries. I got the bacon quiche and almond croissant. They were both amazing! I got the toffee nut latte with half the pumps of sugar and I'm glad I did, it was still so sweet, but oh so good. If ou are passing through Centralia, or live here, make sure and stop by. Where ever I travel to, Starbucks is usually where I go but Starbucks, even though I know exactly what I'll be getting and it's perfectly good, bores me now. Fiddlers however is a wonderful new find. I don't actually drink coffee but adore tea and chai tea and earl grey specifically. The hot chai tea latte from here is delicious (just the right amount of sweet and it tastes like Christmas in a cup) and the assorted baked goods they have are wonderful. The people are super friendly. I would definitely skip the Starbucks and try Fiddlers, you won't be disappointed! read more

This a great coffee bar with a truly local flair, nice atmosphere, and friendly staff, not to mention the fact that it's always clean and in order. It's a good reflection of the many good things to be found in the culture of the Lewis County area, which too often gets only a bad report. There is a big table upstairs that can be reserved for groups to use to hang out or meet, and they also use a room upstairs to do music lessons. I've been coming to fiddlers coffee for 7ish years (since it was cup-o-joes). Every time I'm in the northwest on tour I have made it a habit to stop in and it's never disappointed. The staff are super friendly and you don't get the attitude you find at so many coffee houses. The new building changed the game from just getting coffee on I-5 enroute somewhere else to being a place you want to hang. The menu has ramped up quite a bit and I'm digging their current coffee roasters. And if you ever get to meet the owners, you'll like the place even more. read more

Normally always a place I go to, but not anymore. The customer service was very bad and the drinks were not made correctly. When they were taking my order I was cut off in the middle of me continuing to order. Just bad customer service from my point of view. They seemed to be in a big rush to get me out of the drive threw even though there was no one infant or behind me. read more

You can sit upstairs and look down on people coming in and out, or you can cozy up in front of the fireplace with a hot drink. Lovely atmosphere to study/work in! The service has been great each time I've gone, and I'll go back for sure. My only complaint is that the coffee itself is not very good... It's a pet peeve of mine when a coffee shop meets all the "cozy" criteria but I take a sip and realize it's not freshly roasted or high quality. But i do drink black coffee, so I am going to take everyone's word for it that their espresso drinks are good. If you are not a crazy coffee snob it likely won't be an issue for you. :) read more

I would also recommend taking a seat inside to meet up with a friend over coffee or snacks. I will preface, the service has been great. I have been to Fiddlers a dozen times or so and I really wanted to like them since they are a local coffee shop that is down the street from my house. Today, sunny and warm outside, I ordered an iced green tea which I was very pleased to know they carried. As the polite barista handed me the beverage I noticed the tea looked very watered down, so I took a sip and confirmed it was very watered-down so I asked for something different. No worries, I figured, they'll make it right. I ordered a cold brew with heavy cream. Nice barista, making conversation exchanging pleasantries I left feeling pretty good. I took a sip of my coffee as I was driving away and tasted the sugar and spices in this beverage that I'd been handed. Cold brew with heavy cream. I don't do sugar. Period. Needless to say, I now have a coffee that I will not drink and I will not be back in the neighborhood until this evening. It was a waste of my time and my money. Now I have to stop and get coffee somewhere else. Usually, when I stop by this place I order a black coffee and heavy cream. I have ordered their pastries in the past but whatever method they use of baking/storing/reheating results in a texture That reminds me very much of when you reheat a slice of pizza in the microwave where the Cresta gets tough and chewy. This is definitely not a Texter I enjoy on scones or muffins. Without fail, I end up regretting the selection. It really is too bad. When I am on that side of town I will stop there sometimes I make excuses to be on that side of town so that we can stop there and get my husband's coffee so I can get my Italian soda! Ohmagerssssh! Their smoothies are made with 100% fruit puree and ice. Doesn't get more pure fruit-goodness than that! The Kona blended coffee is prepared with a pre-mixed syrup while their other frappe's are made with espresso shots. Take your pick, they're equally both good! I really enjoyed the Kona blend. I'm not much of a coffee person, but their PNW Roast was delicious. It was light, aromatic and drinkable. The coffee itself appeared lighter than other black coffees I've tried, but everyone usually over-roasts their beans. If you're interested in buying their beans, you can only do it at the shops. They do NOT sell online or via other retailers. I love the decor. Very cozy. The store is laden with tables, chairs and sofas. Reminds me of a log cabin in the mountains. Service is friendly and everyone seems to have fun working there! Definitely make a stop here on the way to and from OR. I can't wait to go back! read more
