Brandon was very helpful in providing guidance on selling strategies and gave me a plan to prepare for this recent tax season. Over the year, we also worked on a comprehensive financial plan and even went through important aspects of a first home purchase. Brandon and Diversifi Capital are very easy to work with and provide you with customized content based on your financial planning needs. I highly recommend them!

I love their subscription pricing system as it allows for a monthly payment and relationship build over time, vs a huge lump sum payment that really makes you take a pause. It's pretty brilliant. The team is highly responsive and you can see they have high integrity. I just love this. Onboarding is a challenge if you have many accounts that need to be catalogued, but I have faith they'll improve the process & tools. They offer financial education via video tutorials if that's your thing, but it's not a requirement. The actual consults are organized, efficient, and down to earth in terms of financial vocab. Overall, we're very please and looking forward to working with them for many months to come. Highly recommend!

Alan D. invited us to a financial investment seminar, "Savvy women, smart investors take charge of…read moretheir financial future," for educational purposes. At first we were a bit skeptical as most seminars have a underlining sales pitch and pressure accompanying them. I think we've all been there, one time or another. Upon arrival we were greeted and introduced to Shane Jacksteit, Edward Jones Financial Advisor, and Grant Martin, MFS Fund Distributors, Inc. Regional Manager. MFS is know for their invention of the mutual fund concept in the early twentieth century. The seminar was very informative from the basic financial investment strategies to some historical facts. The guest speaker Grant Martin, who simplified complex financial topics into easily understood concepts, using illustrative examples. He made us aware of many investment approaches that should be considered, and the first and foremost the concept of "paying yourself first." The seminar also discussed the reality that most women survive their husbands, and how that places investment responsibility on them. The seminar also covered topics, such as, retirement planning, educational planning, importance of seeking financial advices during critical life events, eldercare, estate planning and financial basics. I was very impressed with the seminar and the knowledge I've gained from it. It made me think about our personal financial investment goals and approaches, and how we should considered other diversified investment strategies. The best part was the relaxed approach to the seminar with potential avenue for financial advising if we choose to do so. Thanks Alan, Shane and Grant for an educational evening and the healthy snacks.

The seminar by Edward Jones presented side by side by MFS Fund Distrubutors Inc. Grant Martin Regional Manager and Shane Jacksteit Edward Jones Financial Advisor. First off the seminar was called " Savvy women, smart investors take charge of their financial future." Here's two guys leading this event. Couldn't they find a qualified woman to do that:)? Well Grant Martin's mentor was a savvy woman who's in the industry long before Alan D was born. Shane Jacksteit has his wife present and gave him street cred:) But the short of it is this two managed to enlightened the group and answered our questions and scared us to death about our really bad spending habits. Also managed to remind us that being prepared is half the financial battle won. They did all these without sounding and acting like used car salesmen! Compounding pennies sounds really interesting right now!

Unsuitable advice, locked out of our accounts, regulatory violations. Read before you invest…read more Trusted Edward Jones and advisor Shane Jacksteit with most of my savings (including retirement). A deeply troubling experience others should know about. My husband and I have had numerous issues with Edward Jones but here are some major ones. In late 2024, I was recommended to roll over a substantial retirement balance from my employer 401(k) into Edward Jones IRAs. No alternatives were discussed. No comparative analysis of fees, tax consequences, or legal protections was provided. The rollover form was presented for a quick signature after the rollover recommendation had already been made and the decision had been influenced by Mr. Jacksteit's framing. The rollover was advisor-initiated but the form was phrased as client-initiated, and does not reflect our phone conversation. The same form contains a printed acknowledgement that the advisor has a financial incentive to recommend rollovers because they generate compensation for Edward Jones and the advisor. This conflict was never disclosed before the recommendation was made. Significant stock positions were sold citing diversification, but proceeds sat uninvested for over a year with no reinvestment plan. Commissions were not disclosed. When we sought to transfer accounts elsewhere, we were told everything required liquidation, with no distinction between transferable and non-transferable assets, causing unnecessary tax consequences. Edward Jones denied all wrongdoing. The dispute was escalated to the Managing Partner, Chief Compliance Officer, and General Counsel. No response was received from any of them. Our accounts were also closed during active dispute without any prior notice. We have been locked out of our client portal for months and cannot access our own statements, tax documents, or transaction records. Our repeated requests for these documents and restoration of portal access have been ignored. Call recordings that would show what was actually discussed have not been produced despite repeated requests. Edward Jones paid a $50 million SEC penalty in August 2024 specifically for failing to preserve electronic communications. That pattern continues. In December 2022, FINRA fined Edward Jones $1.1 million for purging phone records, misrepresenting to FINRA that records were unavailable, and failing to alert FINRA once it learned of its own failures. Edward Jones has also faced the following verified regulatory actions: a $17 million NASAA multi-state settlement in January 2025 for moving clients into fee-based advisory accounts without adequate supervision (the same pattern of conduct my husband and I experienced); a December 2024 FINRA action requiring $4.4 million in restitution for mutual fund overcharges; and a June 2025 NASAA settlement in which Edward Jones was found to have charged more than $11 million in excessive commissions on over 780,000 small-dollar trades, the largest share among five firms sanctioned. As of today, Edward Jones has on record 173 regulatory actions and 150 arbitrations. These are not isolated incidents. Edward Jones has continued to face sanctions despite prior penalties, suggesting these practices are systemic rather than accidental. Complaints have been filed with multiple regulatory bodies. Our experience with Edward Jones has been evasive, dismissive, and feels very predatory toward clients who are unaware of their rights. Approach this firm with extreme caution.

What I had in mind was a wholly different world and it's a funny thought, I was expecting a jewelry store with bright lights with glimmer all over the walls but that was just my childhood memories when my dad took me with him to a jewelry store to get something for my mom. I already had some gold and only 1oz of silver but, wanted more and committing to invest in it per month. When getting in, I sat down in a waiting lobby with my wife, we wanted check out our first place to buy precious metals and believed that this place had to be it. We were greeted by Ron, he's an amazing and enthusiastic man to work with. He made it easy to understand when breaking down their website on how it displays the spot prices, and that an American Eagle is an American Eagle when I asked what would affect the value when I mentioned specific things like age, cleaning or rusting and or what Ron told me about oxidation. Today, I was impressed with the service that I had to drag my wife into it from the waiting lobby (haha). I had to make sure that my judgement wasn't too bias on picking clean or some age or oxidized coins. Since I didn't do research on what were the payment methods, I wanted to pay with a credit card to build up cash back but, if it was card, it had to be debit. Ron was great, I'll try to commit visiting monthly here or the one at Fremont for silver and soon gold.
