Growing up in south Florida I know what good Jamaican food is supposed to taste like and what powdered mix sauces taste like. Food was lacking flavor but even worse than the food which I have given three chances at is the new manager woman. She treated my family like we were a burden to her. I was trying to pay and she made me wait ten minutes while she counted the money in the drawer. Then even though we ordered $100 worth of food and I asked the girls in the front if for the kids meal my kid can get the juice and the girls in the front said of course she snatched the cup out of the girls hand and said no and had an argument right then and there with her. Lastly the bathroom hasn't been cleaned since they opened. Enough is enough. I will never be back. May your rent increase swiftly and your customers dwindle down to zero. Been on the lookout for an excellent Caribbean spot to grab good and I found it! Clean and brightly decorated, Fiery Irie makes their food with love. Had the curried lamb which was flavorful and tender; rice and peas were seasoned well and complimented the lamb. Mac and cheese was delicious! Really Enjoyed the dessert the vanilla rum cake and red velvet were amazing. The snapper that I had was tasty the typing was spicy. The jerk pork that my wife had was tasty but I don't think it was cooked on the grill which took away from the taste. However over all everything was tasty, fresh and hot. Stopped in this past Sunday and had a couple of the patties, and brown stew with rice and peas was very good. We were able to dine in, there is limited seating. Came here for dinner, they only had 3 things to order from the menu. Jerk pork was dry and tough. My gf ordered the curried goat which she took one bite of and said it tasted funky. I thought she was tripping so I offered to trade plates but nah, that joint was nasty! She asked to have it exchanged for the only other thing available, the jerk chicken and it was bland. Funny part is that they didn't even give her a new plate, they just dropped the bird on top of the salt goat stew. No cups of water, you gotta buy a bottle. Steamed cabbage wasn't good at all and that's my favorite Jamaican staple. Very disappointed overall with our food and experience. Safe to say I'll never go back. read more

Great little new Caribbean restaurant in Pines. Friendly staff and good service. The brown stew fish and brown stew chicken with rice and peas is AWESOME. This restaurant does cook not authentic Jamaican food. I have ordered from this place 3 times previous, saying each time i will never return. The food is not seasoned properly and the fried chicken is the worst item on the menu. Fried chicken tastes like the chicken in publix., very insipid!!! As my friends and I were leaving the bank we noticed Fiery Irie and decided to give it a shot since we are all Jamaicans. I will say I was happy with my meal. I had jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage. The jerk sauce was really great. It had the right amount of spices. One of my friends had oxtail and white rice. The oxtail gravy was not thick enough. The oxtail seasoning was good but the consistency of the gravy needs to be better. My other friend had the jerk pork and it was not as tender. Adding the jerk sauce on the jerk pork made up for it. The customer service was nice. I'm not use to a Jamaican restaurant having friendly employees but this one surprised me. The restaurant is nice and clean and a nice size to sit and eat if you would like. Overall I would recommend it to a friend. read more

Horrible customer service. I've been buying food from fiery Irie for over a year. I always order ahead. The app tells you that food is ready for pick up. It's never ready. I always wait an additional 20-30 minutes because they start preparing food when you arrive. To add insult to injury, today, I Arrived to pick my order. Food not available. They had me wait almost 30 minutes. Food still not ready. Then they tell me it won't be ready because the food isn't available at this time but they should have called me but it was too busy in the store to call me. Bad customer service. So I've driven past this restaurant so many times and have been curious to see just how good the Jamaican food is. Plus the previous ratings were pretty high so why not? Upon entering I noticed the place was pretty empty and for Friday after 5 that me happy. Parking was easy right in front. The service was fast and the employees were nice. I also thought the prices were good. But it then made me wonder about the amount of food I was going to get because a large entree was so cheap. My jerk chicken was delicious. Seasoned to perfecting but I got all white meat and it was pretty small. My boyfriend got the same exact thing but his chicken was larger. The steamed veggies didn't have much flavor so I seasoned them up at home. I think if they raised their prices and gave more meat I'd buy it easily. The Spanish places have the same prices but give you way more. Too there's a promotion that says if you check in on Yelp you receive a free lemonade. "Worse Jamaican restaurant in broward. They only allow Uber eats orders, so if you live 5 mins away be prepared to wait 55 mins for a plantain. I called asked for jerk chicken. They don't take orders over the phone. I proceeded to drive 30 mins. To get there and jerk sold out everything sold out. It's 7:00 pm they close at 9:00 and do not care about the inconvenience. I try to support black business but this place is unprofessional, a waste of time and money. Better off at golden krust. Where the employees work to serve instead of watching the clock to go home. Googled Jamaican restaurants near me and came up on Fiery Irie. Thought I would try it out. Turned out they have excellent food. Loved it! Went a few times after. Now, my impression of this place was great until I went in there one night and the boss lady took my order. Now mind you, I go there to spend my money. She's telling me what I can't get and with this came with some attitude. Turn off! Went in there after that incident and the same thing happened. So with that I will never eat at this restaurant again! You want to run a business, remember the customers come first. We stumbled across this place while driving around and decided to try the food out of curiosity. We ordered the jerk chicken with cabbage and rice with beans, which was big enough to feed us all and provide leftovers. The chicken was spicy, the cabbage was tasty, and the rice and beans tasted like herbs. We also tried some of the sauces. The spicy sauce was extremely hot, the jerk sauce was less spicy and had an intriguing flavor, and the barbeque jerk sauce, our favorite, was an interesting blend of flavors.
