I can't recommend this place enough. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I've dined here, got delivery, and ordered take-out several times this year. This is one of my very favorite restaurants in new city. Not just because the food is delicious and the service is fantastic and the drinks are on point and large, but also because they make you feel like family. You can sit inside or you can sit out in this casual atmosphere. Fair prices and great service attract people from all walks of life. I heard the owner is opening up a new branch! I can't wait. I always bring my green Cholula hot sauce with me, order an Alcopulvo 1 or 2 and bring a friend. This restaurant location has gone through Jolene's, Tango and now Fiesta Acapulco. I hope this one does well because the food was really great. My wife and I drove by and saw this place and decided to try the location. We were greeted warmly and was seated. Water, chips and salsa were served upon seating and menus given. I'm no Mexican connoisseur but I love my ceviche and Pollo poblano. My wife ordered a steak dish and food was served promptly. The mole sauce on the chicken was amazing and my wife's steak was cooked perfectly. The portions are going to be large so one entree can be split between two people or take home for another meal later. The ceviche was with squid, crab and shrimp. Tasted amazing with a good hit of spice. Rick, our great server recommend the flan for dessert and we loved it as well. The restaurant does not have a liquor license as of now so we brought our own beers from the local convenience store. I'm sure in the future this will change. read more

Food quality is poor. Keeping doors open especially now is welcomed, but not when they aren't screened. Flies and other assorted insects flew around and landed in our food throughout our meal. Won't return. Service was mediocre at best as well. The Sangria which was like fruit punch, had little yo no alcohol in it. It was served in a short mason jar and was $9 a glass! Terrible! read more

A few friends and I got together on 11/27/23 for lunch and the meal was delicious! I ordered the Enchilada Acapulco and every bite was filled with shrimp and crab meat. Wow! The owner and staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. I also want to mention the sangria was so flavorful. The treat at the end of the meal was the amazing (complementary) coquito. Ate at their new location Saturday. The wait staff was very attentive. The food was really good and fresh. My leftovers tasted as good as they did the night they were prepared and I ate them 4 days later. They did a nice job decorating. My only complaint is when they had the video going, on the big screen, it was too loud. The noise level was too high. You had to talk too loud to hear over it. The service is terrible and the food is bland. It took more than an hour for my food to arrive at my table. I attended dinner with two other people and they received their food long before me. A table next to me received their food before me too, even though they were seated later than me and their order was taken after mine. I spoke to three separate waiters inquiring about my food. All of them looked confused and didn't help. Over an hour later my food finally came. They didn't even apologize for the wait. There's no communication between waitstaff. Our first take out from this relatively new place.The place was empty at lunch time, quiet, clean. We had tacos with beef, tacos were soft, but the beef was pretty tough ( will try shrimp next time).Guacamole was not too spicy, I liked it, The dish we enjoyed most was Ceviche Papa Juan- shrimp and crabmeat marinated with not too much lemon or garlic,was very enjoyable, I would add ( and I did) a little more cilantro. This Mexican Restaurant is terrific. Great food, full of flavor and tremendous, friendly service. It's off the side of Little Tor Road so not in an obvious spot. Hope it can get a primetime location soon because it's great. Guacamole and Biztec Mexicana in particular were awesome. How do I know the food is worth it? The complimentary chips are perfect, warm and fresh and it's difficult to not fill up just downing chips and salsa, but pace yourself because there's more. Sangria was good, not some sweet syrupy mix but authentic wine and fruit. No margaritas or hard alcohol though. We had the fajitas which were great and chili rellenos which I ordered beef and expected ground beef but it was actually shredded which was a little stringy and stuck together and difficult to cut - flavor was good though and I'd probably still get it again regardless. read more
