Overall the experience was alright - I just came in for a couple of different pan dulces. I liked that everything was behind a case so you don't have to worry about customers touching the pastries. The location is small and designed to just pick up and go. I had a couple of conchas, marranitos, and some hojarascas (wedding cookies). They were reasonably priced and tasted okay, a little stale. I wish I would have liked it more, I wouldn't go out of my way to drive to it again. read more

WOW Just tried some of their sweets yesterday, and we will definitely be return customers! So my husband and I come from Michigan, and we had a favorite home grown bakery we loved to go to. But since we've moved down here, we've missed that place :(. BUT, this bakery may be our new home away from home. You're engulfed in the smell of fresh baked goods as soon as you step inside. We were greeted with a friendly smile and quick customer service. And you can't beat the price! (In my opinion, they could definitely charge more. But I understand that may stray some customers away) We love supporting a local business, and if we can have donuts, fritters, and conchas while doing so, even better! Visited the place while Yelping for some good sweet bread "pan dulce" and this place definitely hit the spot. The "conchas" pan de huevo, the donuts and cinnamon rolls were delicious. I know what good sweet bread tastes like because I lived in Deep South Texas right on the border and this was pretty right on. The only place I have had better from is Paris Bakery in Mission, Texas and that is the best. But here in SA, you can't go wrong with this place and best of all the prices are low and you can get a lot for your money! Definitely visit this place for good sweet bread. I like the pan dulce at Fiesta but I'm a little puzzled by the pricing system since sometimes I order four or six items and the price is always different. They must hire math wizards here as they always give me the four fifty or the five fifty. Never a four twenty seven or perhaps a five dollar even for 7 items. Please don't misunderstand me but a statistical experiment could be done here with regard to pricing variance according to gender, age, and perception of wealth. When I order Saturday mornings in my torn jeans and old sweaters the price is to my likening, but sometimes on my way to work (dressed formally) the price has a marked difference. The best and freshest home made flour tortillas in town! They also have donuts and some Mexican style cookies and pastries. The only thing I have tried is the tortillas though. AWESOME!! This place is special to our family. I worked nights for many years and I started a tradition with my kids that I would bring home Pandulce almost every other Sunday morning especially if they did good in school. I loved the smell of fresh sweet bread when walking in Sunday mornings after a tough night. It's just so delightfully delicious!! I think I enjoyed it the most. Lol. My kids are all grown up now, but any chance we get when we get together I'll buy some Concha's, empanadas, cinnamon horns, cream cheese boats, wedding cookies and donuts just to name a few and it's ALWAYS A BIG HIT!! It has been YEARS since I've been to Fiesta! The only reason I don't go is because it isn't convenient as far as location. It was nice to see the same elderly woman working there, she was always pleasant. We ordered 17 items and our total was only $8! Everything was priced lower than other bakeries I've been to and tasted so much better! The pink cake which is my fave was soooo soft and delicious! My 13 year old daughter loves this bakery! Yes they only accept cash, but you only need a dollar or two to get multiple cakes, cookies, etc. It is a family owned business, so they do go on vacation and close from time to time. My daughter buys their pastries almost daily, and one of the ladies working there even throws in a free cookie for her. So sweet! read more

They had just about every variety of pan dulce you can dream of as well as donuts, cinnamon rolls and other pastries. The price was extremely reasonable. Just be sure to bring cash! They only accept cash! You can select what you want and they will bag it up for you or you can pay a few cents more for a box. I paid less than $10 for a box with a dozen pan dulce!!! Everything was fresh, soft and delicious! Also, the cashier was very pleasant and helpful. You have to give Fiesta Bakery a try. You will not be disappointed. read more
