I just had my fifth, last, and worst experience so far at Fiesta Ford in Indio. My latest experience included: *Being ignored in the vehicle queue at the service department while a female employee helped someone in the queue BEHIND me after greeting him with a hug. Also, she was oddly armed with a tactical knife on her belt, which made it difficult at best for me to question her actions. *Service personnel told me they could NOT perform a documented recall repair on my vehicle, even after I showed them a printout indicating the recall for my vehicle year/make/model. My vin number supposedly did not QUALIFY for the repair. This, after someone on the phone told me, "Sure - bring it right in - no appointment necessary!" *After telling the service person my safety concern as my driver door would NOT latch, he told me it was not his problem, and I could take it up with Ford. I told him the dealership would be liable if I were injured and they were aware of the problem, to which he responded, "We can fix it for you for $500 ballpark." Past experiences include a sales manager who insulted my wife and was aggressive and threatening during the negotiating process on a used car, cashiers at the service department taking personal calls and engaging in banter with coworkers while ignoring waiting customers, damage to our vehicles in other areas when we bring them in for repair, and a general attitude that they're the only Ford dealership in the area, and this gives them a monopoly which they hold over the customers' heads. In the future, I will take all of my Ford business all the way to Palm Springs to avoid these clowns. read more

Horrible experience with the sales man, Joseph! It's bad enough that auto prices are through the roof, but when having to deal with a rude sales man, it just makes me so upset. My husband and I stopped in to test drive a Ford truck and we were ready to buy one that day. We spoke with a sales man who was simply very rude and did not bother to try to help with all of our questions, Joseph. The service is not the best. It seems as if though service advisors need more training in time management, follow-through, and thoroughness when accepting a vehicle for service. I recently dropped off my vehicle for it to be worked on by I10 Bodyshop and learned that my vehicle was taken for a joy ride. Truly unacceptable and a good way to lose faith in the people who drive the cars. read more

I am giving this place a 4 star only because we received great service from Jimmy Reyes, when my husband and I were in search of a new truck. He went above and beyond for us, thanks Jimmy for all your hard work. With that been said we almost did not go through with the sale because of Isaac Calderon, he has no people skills and thinks he can talk down to the people on the other side of the desk. I seriously don't see why the manager at Fiesta Ford has him dealing with customers on this final stage of the deal. Worked out a deal over the phone with Ron and he made it happen for us! Drove 2 hours from OC to Palm Springs to pick up the ride and Wife was impressed, car was washed and ready for us to take a test drive before we handed over the money. My husband and I recently leased a new truck at this location. My husband has bought/leased new cars many times, and is used to the games people play at the dealership and warned me of this. So, I wasn't totally surprised during our encounter with one gentleman who assisted us with the lease (pushy, loud, and just overall slime factor). He was so obnoxious that I almost walked out but the deal on this truck was actually pretty good, so I was able put up with this guy just to close the deal. However, this five star review is for Manny and Manny alone. He was super professional, kind, not pushy at all. After we finished with finance (who was also very kind and professional but I unfortunately forgot his name), the cleaning process on the truck and adding the bed cover took a lot longer than expected (almost 2 hours). Manny apologized and offered a one time offer to fill up our tank whenever we wanted. Needless to say we took him up on this a few days later, and he followed through on his offer. I brought my car in for the first time to Fiesta Ford . I have a 2014 Ford Focus which I like to keep in good order. Raymond Gamboa was my service advisor . He explained everything and kept me advised as to what needed to be done and costs. I had a part changed out under warranty and had recalls checked and a new battery installed . (Take the time to read about Certified Pre-Owned vehicles - quite a bit of marketing behind them. They come with limited warranties and are required to undergo a 172 point inspection where the results must be provided to the customer. The certification process also involves the manufacturer.) I bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle (CPO) from Fiesta Ford - a 2019 Ford with about 13K miles on it - still under factory warranty and of course comes with the CPO warranty. As required, the inspection checklist was provided. Two line items relevant to this review were marked as "Passed": 1) Tire TreadDepth -stated to be 6/32" and 2) Normal TreadWear. A couple of days after purchase the tires were removed and inspected by a Big-O Tires. We ran over a nail in our garage prompting a leak and trip to the tire shop for repairs. Upon inspection of the tires, we discovered that the rear tires were wearing very uneven - across the tire there was a noticeable variance called to our attention by the mechanic servicing our tires. The mechanic suggested a likely alignment issue or lack of previous tire rotation. I would not consider this to be "Normal Wear" as suggested on the inspection checklist. Even worse, the front tires were heavily worn on the inner tread - between 1/32" and 2/32" as measured with a tire depth gauge at various points. At this tread depth the tires are past the recommended replacement depth which most tire companies I have dealt with recommend at around 4/32" (most tires have an initial / new tread depth of around 10/32"). Additionally, according to the NHTSA, tires with a tread depth at or below 2/32" represent an increased risk of a tire related accident. Being the heavy wear on the front tires was on the inside edge, it was very hard to see without removing the tire or putting the car on a lift. We contacted a sales manager at Fiesta Ford about the issue (I also provided them with contacts they could speak with at Big-O Tires and multiple pictures of one of the front tires). I was expecting them to simply admit to making a mistake and that the car should not have been sold in this condition. To my surprise, the sales managers initial response was to justify the wear by noting that the center of the tire had adequate tread and that especially with this type of car some uneven wear is to be expected. As noted in my response to him, I can accept some variance across the tire; however, I do not feel that any part of the tire should ever reach a point where nearly all of the tread is gone (as measured, 2/32"). Additionally, I would most certainly not consider this to be "Normal Wear". The sales manager also stated that if they had installed a new set of tires I would not have been able to purchase for the price I negotiated. That comment was a bit puzzling as I do not understand how the price I negotiated has anything to do with expecting the dealership to provide the vehicle in a condition commensurate with the inspection report they provided. Remember, the inspection checklist is a mandatory part of the certification process. Finally at the end of the conversation the sales manager did agree to reimburse me for two of the tires. Based on the sales managers response, my opinion is that this type of thing happens all the time - the less money they put into the car, the more they make. But you can draw your own conclusions. Its great that they compensated me for two of the four tires I had to replace. However, they never once acknowledged that the vehicle should not have been sold in this condition and that the checklist was clearly inaccurate. Before writing this review I even sent a follow up e-mail to them asking for this - I even copied the GM at the dealership. Even more important than the monetary aspect of this is that the tires were in a condition that I feel was unsafe (you can research what the NHTSA says about tires and tread depth on your own). We drove from California to Arizona oblivious to the condition of the tires. Additionally, I feel that we were misled - the inspection checklist provided did not match the condition of the tires or meet the requirements for a certified vehicle. If anything, a lesson learned - doesn't matter how many miles the car has on it, whether or not it has a factory warranty in place, or if it is a "Certified" Pre-Owned Vehicle - if it is a used car, take the time and have it inspected by a third party professional. Hold them accountable to the checklist if it is a CPO - and if they refuse to address any issues you find not consistent with the checklist or try to charge extra to do so - RUN and don't look back. read more

So Ive had to terrible encounters with this dealership. The first time was with their service center. I had to pay $100 when they couldn't even find the problem with my car. They had my car for 8 hours. I took my car too Goodyear the next morning and they found the problem and fixed it in 10 mins. I got my refund but the incompetence is insane and the y expect you to pay for it ! The second encounter was a few days ago when i went to get my car appraised. The salesman basically refused to appraise my car and told me to go to carmax for the highest offer. He was super rude and this whole dealership is just a trash can full of clowns. We came into town for an event and our breaks went out on our truck. It was a Saturday morning when we desperately needed the breaks replaced. We weren't sure if we needed the Rotors replaced as well because the breaks were making a lot of noise.. I contacted Alex in the service department. He squeezed us in and made sure we were taken care of. We had our truck towed over to Fiesta Ford and continued on to our event. We authorized Alex to do whatever needed to be done to replace the breaks. The car was dropped off by noon and it was done by 3. Alex made arrangements for us to pick up our truck after service hours because we were at our event. We were pleasantly surprised when we picked up the vehicle and looked at the invoice and all he charges us for were breaks and pads. He could have taken advantage of us and changed the rotors as well because we were certain we needed that done because of the noise we were hearing. Classy dealership, excellent service! Don't ever buy a Ford unless you want a lemon. I'm on my 3rd recall on my 2016 Ford Fusion. The 1st time it was stalling and I took it in and they said there was nothing wrong with it and then when the car just stalled on the fwy almost causing an accident then they said oh yeah it's the transmission part of a recall and they fixed it. 2nd recall it was the steering wheel luckily mine didn't fall off but still had to waste my time going in and get it reinforced because apparently they were falling off. Now the 3rd one my car was stuck in neutral 110 degrees in the middle of the afternoon car won't move had to wait for a tow truck to tow it to dealership. Now I just get a voice mail that because the actual recall part for the shifter is not available yet I have to pay out of pocket and once it's available I have to go back in waste more time and get it replaced again cause apparently the cable they are making me pay out of pocket isn't that great. Plus I try to call the extension back to speak to them about it and no answer or call back. I'm PISSED! STRESSED! Never am I buying from them again and I will make sure to let everyone know of my horrible experience! read more

I ordered the vehicle with him on the phone back in September of 2022, no signed Purchase Contract, only Brandon's word I would just be paying MSRP. I waited 11 months for it to be built and shipped. During that time frame the market (Other Dealers and Private Sellers) kept raising the price and selling them $5K over MSRP with no problems. Sure enough, I got the call on 8/11/23 that the truck had arrived at dealer and was ready for pick-up. As I went through the process, completing the documents, Brandon never once suggested to raise the price for a market adjustment, mark up, dealer add-ons, time spent, nor anything else. I want to give A shout out to Sarah in the service department at fiesta Ford. We came in with the situation with no headlights and smoking brakes. We let her know we were just passing through pull in a 13,000 pound Fifth Wheel. She made it a point to get us right in, checked our brakes, serviced the brakes right away, and helped us find a place to fix our aftermarket headlights they were just installed two weeks ago. Well they were checking the brakes they Serviced and lubed the parts that needed to be taken care And explored what was wrong with our headlights. My husband and I have been buying Ford vehicles for years. Personal and work. We have always dealt with Palm Springs motors in the past but a few years ago we bought 2 vehicles from Fiesta. So this year it is time to buy 2 new ones. I went in multiple times to try to purchase a vehicle Eddie had me go around in circles. Didn't want to go down on their price of their vehicle at all. On top of it their only focus was my trade. It was like they didn't want to sell a vehicle. I finally got so mad I went and bought a GMC with no headaches. They gave me exactly what I wanted for my trade and what I wanted for the new vehicle. The whole process from start to finish took me an hour and a half. Then today, I went to purchase a Truck for my husband. Sylvia was great! I thought, well maybe they learned from losing the last sell...NOPE. Here comes EDDIE. He can't tell me what the truck's price is. How is that possible!? Wants to only worry about our credit and my trade in. Look, our credit is perfect and as for my trade...Don't worry about it. Tell me what the cost of the truck is. I know that this is a number game and believe you me. I will win! Really bad service. When I took my vehicle in service, I waited in the service entry bay for 20 minutes. No one came out to greet me. I had to flag someone down. They had previously quoted me $169 by phone for a new battery. The service writer finally checked it out, and told me that the battery would be replaced, complete with the insulation blanket. He then quoted me $244. He then drove it back to a service bay. When it was returned, no insulation was around it. It was taken back and the blanket put on it. It was brought back out, and I then checked the different screens on the dash. The TPMS didn't work. Again he had to take it back and drive it around to reinitialize the monitoring system. All this just to replace a simple battery. By the time I walked out, the bill was $269. Bad service! Do not take your vehicle here. I am really leery of even letting them do an oil change. PS. Checked their online price for the battery. It was $179.99. My bill showed $224.95. What a ripoff! Update: Steve, the service manager, called me back, and and was very receptive to my issue. He offered me a complimentary oil change for my trouble. I want to thank him for his response. I have changed my mind about the service department and changed their rating from 2 stars to 4 stars. read more

I'm not going to call them the worst dealership cuz they're probably just typical of all new car dealerships these days. I've been to the service department three times twice for the aftermarket alarm another new Ford dealer put on my new ford, however fiesta Ford is closer to my home I've asked them twice to help me to deactivate (it's annoying it beeps very loudly when you lock and unlock the doors) the second time was 2 days ago on my phone, a young hispanic woman ask me what type of alarm system was installed when I informed her was a KARR system she said they couldn't help me because they use West coast they said KARR was not the state-of-the-art system they would use she referred me to the manufacturer mentioned, however after doing some investigation I find that West coast & KARR are the same company. also in the three times I've approached their service department they always ask did you purchase the car here I've never had that happen before and I've purchased five new Fords in my lifetime from various dealerships and I've used different dealerships for service and repairs and warranty issues I've never been asked if I bought the car from any of the dealerships I've been to. Hence the reason for one star! I have had two dealings with these people both bad. Dealing number one was when I made the mistake of telling the sales dude what I would pay in monthly payments. The finance guy figured out the interest rate until it was 22.22% which made my payment about 40 cents under what I told him I would pay monthly. Dealing number 2 is two questions I have asked 4 times and still have not gotten an answer to. Yes I went to a manager and all I got was the truck is still in stock when do you want to see it? DISHONEST, DECEITFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Here's a timeline of my WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! WEDNESDAY: I get in contact via email with Benjamin Martinez, the fleet/internet manager regarding a used car. I asked him what's the best they can do on the pricing. I told him that I wanted to negotiate a price before making any plans on going out there. I would have to take my 8 month pregnant wife and 2 year old kid with me. Those with young children and a pregnant wife will understand how hard it is to go anywhere let alone a 2 hour car drive EACH way. He told me to throw an offer. I offered $8k OTD and that I can come Saturday morning if a deal is met. He said he'll ask his manager and comes back with a counter offer of $8,500 OTD. I politely declined and thank him for his help. He replies back saying he does not want to lose my business. He said that they can't hold the car for 3 days but can hold it the whole day Saturday. I said ok. FRIDAY: I text him at 8:30PM which is half an hour before closing. I asked him if the car is still available and if so to put it on hold for Saturday. I reiterated to him in the text that I have a far drive and was planning on leaving the next morning at 8ish. He texted back a little bit after 9pm and told me it's on hold and we are good to go. I told him I would see him tomorrow at 10ish. SATURDAY: I leave the house at 8am. He calls me at 8:50 and my wife speaks with him since I was driving. He asked us where we were because someone else had come in to see the same car. My wife told him our ETA was after 10am. He said ok. He calls back at 9:30 and speaks to my wife again (40 minutes away from dealership). He now tells my wife they are selling the car to the other customer that came in. He said his manager said it's against policy to hold a car. Now I'm thinking then why did you tell me that you can hold it in the first place!?!?! This is EXACTLY why I wanted to negotiate a price AND asked them to put the car on hold so that I don't waste my time driving out there for nothing. I don't get to spend much quality time with my family during the week and for them to waste half of my Saturday is unforgivable. read more

I was a full-time resident of the Coachella Valley area for over thirty years. I have since moved out of the area but find times when I return for various reasons. When I do, I try and get my F-150 serviced at Fiesta Ford. Well, I try, it seems they have a different perspective of their "Quick Lube" service. About a year ago I came in for a "Quick" lube service. Wait time, 1.5 to 2 hours. I left. Last week, came in on Wednesday; two hours. I left. Came back next day, 2.5 hours. If they didn't advertise it as Quick I would get it and not expect anything else other than what a normal car dealership offers. I then went to Jiffy Lube; spent 45 minutes there and in addition to a full-synthetic oil service, I spent another $225 or other routine maintenance issues. Fiesta Ford could have had this business, but no more. Your mileage may vary. read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The WORST car shopping experience I've ever had. :( I went in with a very small car. I was looking for a bigger car, possibly the "Edge." Well, I drove the Edge, loved it, but it was out of my price point. I was going to leave, since I did not like the escape, and the focus and fiesta were a little small. They had my keys held hostage inside since they wanted to appraise my trade. Okay, sure, they want me to talk to the manager before I left. He told me that the only way I could have my payments in the range I wanted, I would have to find a car that was 20,000 or less. I understood that, but I wanted a bigger car than I brought in. He had the salesperson take me to look at the focus and fiesta. I drove one, but it was too small. I said that the car was okay, but I would like my family to see it before I purchased it. He made fun of me for wanting to show my family. He then harassed me, saying that I promised to buy a car if he could get my payments at my price point! I said, "Sir, would you buy a new house without showing your closest family?" He said that it was completely different, and that I promised to buy the car. I DID NOT promise to buy a focus or fiesta, I wanted an EDGE! This man made me cry, and made fun of me when he saw that! When I was leaving, he decided to holler across the parking lot. How trashy!! I asked the salesperson what the rude manager's name was, and he says, "Does it really matter?" Uh, yes! I would have called the general manager if I had his name. I DO know that he wore a class ring. The guy with the class ring needs to be fired. Seriously. I'm kind of scared to post this review. I would hate if that sales manager stole my identity because he was angry or something. ***EDIT 13 October 2012*** I sent an e-mail to Marty, the "Customer relations manager" on the same day (9 October) that he/she replied to my review.
