GARGANTUAN Margaritas. I had one and had to make my girlfriend drive home. It got me ripped. The chips were fresh, the salsa was decent, and the guacamole was good as well. Typical of Mexican places, the portions are oversized. I can't eat this much any more and still expect to fit into my pants. The food was pretty good. Fiesta Mazatlan has a pleasant Mexican atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable servers. A wide range of Hispanic dishes is available. All that I've tried after several visits are delicious. I haven't tried the alcoholic drinks but, based on everything else, I suspect they're good. We are looking for a good every day Mexican Restaurant near our home. I think we have found one. Fiesta Mazatlan is a solid 3.5 star restaurant. I upped the score to 4 stars because of the excellent service and great value. There was plenty of parking near the restaurant. It took a short time to be seated because the gentleman was taking a phone order when we walked in. We were seated in a back corner near the entrance to the kitchen. I like seats like this because I get to watch food being delivered to tables; plus, it is easy to flag a waiter. Warm chips and a nice picante sauce were delivered to our table before we could get comfortable. My wife ordered her usual, chicken enchilada, rice, and beans. I ordered pork tamale, ground beef enchilada, rice, and beans. Our waiter brought our food before I could finish checking in on my Yelp! APP. My wife enjoyed her enchilada. My beef enchilada was exactly as I expected. Tamale was a nice balance between the pork and the masa. The sauces on the enchilada and tamale were very good. Beans were a bit more liquid than I like; but, mixing the rice and beans with a little picante sauce made for good eats. I really like the machines used to process our credit card, especially the options for a gratuity and email the receipt. We will return to Fiesta Mazatlan. read more

But the treatment that we receive because we have our dog . That it's an emotional service dog was awful. We have our dog inside the car with windows down and in the shades . After 15 mn the police came saying that it was a dog in a car without windows down. That's why we decided to bring the dog inside because the restaurant has a sign that says "Service emotional support dogs welcome ".A server was asking to my wife about the ID of the dog to prove if it was an emotional support service dog . My dog has a collar that says is " an emotional support dog" by the way the waitress said that we have to wait outside with the dog. After that we paid the bill and my wife was asking to talk to the manager to show him the dog ID. They told us that there was no manager to talk . So at the end we left really angry about the situation. Please avoid this restaurant if you have your little four babies with you . Waited for a table for 15 minutes before another employee came back to tell us they decided they were going to close while the restaurant was still have full of customers. By the time we were told we wouldn't be seated it was too late to go eat elsewhere and we had to settle for drive though while in Redmond. When you get a hankering for a little Mexican food, Fiesta Mazatlan is THE place to go. Our group of four went in a Thursday night around 6:30 PM. We were seated as we arrived with no waiting. We enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa and ordered drinks. A few minutes later the server brought our drinks and took our dinner order. We ordered chilie rellenos with a chimichanga with pork, a burrito, a relleno burrito and an order of Mazatlan Nachos with shredded beef. The dishes arrived hot and delicious in about 10 minutes. I've come to this location many times and have been promptly seated every time. It's almost always the same gentleman who is seating us and he is a quiet person with a fun sense of humor if you are paying attention and give him a chance. I enjoy the atmosphere here as it is filled with plants and the walls are covered with paintings as is typical for a mazatlan restaurant. I have ordered or tasted just about everything on the menu and have yet to taste something i didn't like. They have a few americano choices too to appease family members who may not want Mexican food (My 10 year old). This place gets 4 stars for me for service and food but it seems a little overpriced. I think what the customer is paying for here is the business building lease and that is understandable. I'd like to see some expansion on their menu too. read more

Horrible service. Had took find someone to be seated. I had my two year old son with me who is amazing in restaurants. I have worked in restaurants for years so I know when to leave if a kid is being loud or out of hand. The server barely listened to me telling him my order. This grouchy old man behind me was upset that my son was giggling. He kept saying little things and I just ignored him. When he said "strangle that kid," I got up and told him off a bit. Then I asked for my check and a to go box. After about 5 minutes, it was finally brought. The waiter was extremely short with me and rude. We have lived in redmond for over 10 years and this location of Mazatlan has done nothing but gone downhill. Poor wait staff and super slow service. There was a kid with drumsticks two booths down, playing the drums in the booth seat, super load and very annoying. We asked our waitress if she could see what was going on and she replied " a kid with drumsticks". We asked her if she could do something about it and she said "no, but if you want to go ahead." This is my favorite restaurant in Redmond currently. I arrived here with a friend on a Friday afternoon. We were instantly greeted by some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. The decor of this place was colorful and top notch. The plants and paintings kept me entertained and astonished the entire time I was here. The menu looked stacked and I decided to try the Fajita for two at the recommendation of my friend San Miguel. I was not very hungry at the time I arrived, so a half a meal sounded about right to me. Prior to our fajita, we were treated to chips salsa and beans which were fresh and amazing. This was the perfect setup for the best fajita I have ever experienced. The cast iron pan was brought out to us, with the food stick sizzling and crackling. This may not sound like a unique experience but for some reason, I was stoked about that. Then we were treated with freshly cooked tortillas, guacamole, and sour cream. The fajita had a mix of meat from chicken to shrimp sautéed peppers and onions. It was one of the most delicious meals I have ever consumed. To top this whole experience of the meal was quite affordable. If you are craving a fajita in Redmond, don't think twice. Good grief! What on earth happened to this place? I used to eat here on a regular basis up until about 10 years ago when my work took me away from this area (born and raised here). The food was to die for. Full of flavor. and the service was out of this world. When my friends invited me to go eat there yesterday I was excited. What a BIG let down! The food was bland bland bland. No spice. No salsa. I tried to get someone's attention to at least bring some hot sauce to give it some flavor. No one ever came back. I have been going to this location for a few years and have not received poor tasting food. The service was prompt and the margaritas where satisfactory. The waitstaff took our orders and within minutes we received our order. We did wait longer than we wanted for the waiter to take our cards. When we waived someone down they told us to pay at the counter with a new system. I would have liked the heads up when the check was laid on the table. All in all good food and service. I want to be clear that this negative review does not reflect on the restaurant itself, the restaurant is wonderful, the food is delicious, and we had always been treated wonderfully.
