Volunteering at the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, we needed to find somewhere for dinner. Since we were staying in Redmond, we thought we'd eat there. So happy to have found La Posada!! The service was excellent & so many good menu choices! Fairly typical decor but very clean tables & nice music too! Again, this is a fast food restaurant, so it more than met the standard. The girls ordered carne asada fries & a carnitas torta. Both were good size portions & were tasty! My lengua burrito-served enchilada style- was excellent! Big chunks of tender meat & delicious sauce made it a burrito worth ordering again. We also enjoyed the salsa bar & their zanahorias en escabeche (Mexican carrots with jalapeño & onion) were some of the best we've tried. Decided to pick up a carnitas burrito at lunch today. First thing I noticed was the price increase to 11.99. I got The burrito and it was nice and hot and made it home with plenty of warmth left. I have noticed a trend here of portion size decreasing over time so I decided to weigh my burrito. Yeah, I am sometimes over the top. Anyways, 1lb even. Filling consisted of pork and pico. Flavor was on par for carnitas, but the size left me wanting more. Maybe we can throw some rice in or beans, not a lot but something to make us feel a little more satisfied. 1st time here, immediately noticed the clean and welcoming this morning! The staff were all making sure our meals were good! I had the carnitas plate (meat, beans, rice and lettuce w/salsa & guacamole). My husband had the chile rellano and taco plate w/ beans & rice and lettuce w/salsa & guacamole. The "salsa bar" had a good selection of hot sauces, carrots & peppers. The horchata drink was good and my husband a the 'new' melon drink. We'll be back! Thanks. Nope NEVER again! I stopped in this morning to pick up a breakfast burrito while driving from Redmond to Albany. I asked for them if they could put green sauce inside so I didn't have to pour it on my breakfast as I was driving. They confirmed and said no problem. The Bueno Dias breakfast burrito was priced at $9.99. I was charged $11.75. I payed the bill and asked why the price I was charged didn't match the advertised menu price. The girl working the counter and the guy working the drive through said I was charged the $1.76 because they had to add the green sauce inside the burrito. Mind you the green sauce is free to any patron at their salsa bar. So the free salsa they added inside the burrito now cost $1.76??? I used to love La Posada, but after this.... Stay away. I hopped in line for the first time ever on August 11th, 2025. as soon as I did, 3 other cars followed suit. it was at this moment I knew I made the right choice. I felt ballsy, so I chose the chile relleno burrito; and if things didn't work out there, I knew the buenos diaz burrito had my back... both were absolutely next level. potato's and bacon had the perfect texture. chile relleno had a flavor so intoxicating, I truly could not stop myself even if I was full. 4 sauces were also given to me, more than i'm used to. i'm from CA, and despite this, some random joint in Oregon is now one of the best mexican restaurants I know of. This used to be a great spot for taqueria style Mexican food and the drive through was so convenient. I used to grab a burrito from this place every time I drove through on a job because the quality was high, the ingredients fresh, the salsa delicious, and the size of their burritos used to be massive, especially for the price. The last 2 years I've noticed a decline in all the above categories except for the salsa, that is still very good but the burritos are only about half the size that they used to be and now they are even more expensive. Maybe worth checking in every now and again to see if they have gotten back to their original values but as of now I'll pass this place by. read more

We live close to La Posada and therefore visit a bit too often. Staff are always polite and happy to answer my questions about menu items. They're usually busy in the drive through and slow inside (at least during COVID ‍). The Mar y Tierra burrito (shrimp and steak) is my go-to item, typically with two "scoops" of red salsa. Boy is it large and flavorful. They also have very good breakfast burritos. My one complaint is the tortilla chips leave room for improvement. They always seem a bit tough/brittle for my taste...but maybe that's a style some folks prefer ‍ I'm more of a Juanitas kinda guy I guess. Still, it's easily worth the walk for all of the other amazing items on the menu. read more

The food was okay. The service, however, was lacking. I placed an online pickup order-for which I was charged a fee - and was given a "ready" time for 20 minutes later. I arrived 25 minutes later and they had to rapidly prepare my items, as I waited. What exactly is the point of ordering in advance, for which you are charged extra, only to get your food as if you had just used the drive up/walk up option? There are other equally good or better Mexican restaurants in Redmond. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

So good even our picky 3 year old finished all her food! This was our first time getting food from here, we didn't look at the menu before hand and tried to order some street taco combos not realizing they didn't have that on their menu. They were super accommodating and friendly and made them for us anyway. ((Sorry to the employees that had to deal with us, we'll do better next time. )) We got carne asada tacos, rice, beans, and a quesadilla, it was all very good and seemed a lot fresher than some of the other local spots. Don't think this is actually Mexican food but El Salvadorian instead. Not really a sit down restaurant but a fast food stop. Seems fairly clean on the inside but zero atmosphere.They have a salsa bar but no chips. Lots of tortas on the menu as well as cerviche and shrimp. No flatware just plastic forks and you bus your own table. Tried one of the combos and the cheese enchilada was still cold on the inside. Beans and rice were the usual fare, not bad but nothing special. Prices for what you get are a little high. Can't think of why I would return. read more

3 strikes and yer out! I've lived in Redmond for many years, frequented your establishment as well over the years. Because your local I'll give you 3 strikes and all over carne asada fries, I might add. 1. A few months ago ordered carne asada fries and received a soggy fry, liquipatated mess of an attempt. Strike 1... 2. A few weeks ago ordered carne asada fries, asked for just fries, cheese and carne asada, no guacamole no sour creme. What I got was a to go container of mishap. The person preparing musta made a mistake at the end, saucing it up, that they just put more fries and cheese to cover up the blunder. Strike 2.... 3. Last night I ordered carne asada fries for The last and final time. Tonight's blunder discovered that Spanish rice was the secret ingredient. After ordering again carne asada fries, with fries meat and cheese only. No sauce please. After opening up the container my surprise was a beeping pile of Spanish rice o top of soggy fries and cheese, minus carne asada. I give up!!! read more

I was told by a friend this place a a great chorizo breakfast burrito. It was 930am there was only one car in front of me took 20mins to get food. When I got may chorizo burrito I almost threw up only only did the cook burned the chorizo but tasted like they scraped the whole grill with my food. I know the smell and taste of it. I've been a cook and chef for 7 years and it was the worst. I understand people mess up and people have bad days but to send that out to a customer and expect them to pay $7 for a burrito. I couldn't even finish is ridiculous. The cook knew what he had did and it's sad not to care about your customers like that. I wouldn't have done that to anyone. BEST TACOS IN REDMOND! They usually open until 3am but because it's slow during winter, they open until midnight. La Posada also has a drive-thru! Used to be one of my favorite places. I think management has changed because I was treated so horribly last time I went there. The gentleman that rang me up was short with me and irritated with my questions and then was barking orders at everyone in the kitchen- that's not good leadership.
