The dish we had was delicious! My husband and I had the superior burrito! The server was very nice. I even got a margarita with flames . I would definitely recommend!

While visiting my Brother in Chandler, Az this restaurant was suggested by his girlfriend, when we got here it wasn't too busy until about 30min into the service. The table has a note that says the 1st basket of chips is complimentary and then an additional $1.99 per basket and $1.45 for additional salsa. Our waitress was very kind and explained what was good/recommended and tbh we requested the fish ceviche and she told us it wasn't all that great and to get shrimp but, 1 person in our party of 4 is very allergic to shrimp, and we said we will just try the fish ceviche and if not good she was willing to swap for no charge and guess what? It was yummy! It was a lot of food and we took 1/2 of everything home to eat later, our bill was average since there were 3 alcoholic drinks ordered, overall the food was good and we will be back to try other things on a later date.

Food was okay but nothing special, therefore overpriced. No ala carte options. Chips were bland and needed salsa (which was tasty) but they charge for refills. Carnitas were tender but dry; no green salsa with them, as is common, but available for a fee. Facility is clean and festive. Server was attentive and pleasant. Final answer: No need to return.

We showed up with a party of 9 and were sat right away. The food was sooo good and came out super fast. Service was great, our server did seem a little overwhelmed, but we did get everything we needed. Will return!

Went to dinner last night at this restaurant with a large group of friends. I've eaten here in the past and wasn't impressed but because one of our friends made the reservation there, we joined them. The service was not good. It was extremely slow. One of the ladies in our group asked for small plates so we could each take a small amount of tortilla chips and salsa. (The chips also needed salted because they had no flavor). Our server replies with she'll get us a "few". There were seven women and she brought us five plates. (when our friends go out the guys all sit together and the ladies all sit together.) I decided to try the street tacos. They came and the tortillas were greasy and didn't even appear grilled or cooked at all so I took a regular tortilla from the container that she had brought the table. The meat was extremely dry and chewy with no flavor/seasoning and a LOT of gristle. (I had ordered a side of sour cream to go with that. I didn't get it. I asked our server again when she brought a margarita to one of our party She still didn't bring it. I had to get out of my chair and chase her down and ask her a third time and then she finally brought it! I tried to eat this meal and I just couldn't. So I told my server that I couldn't eat it and I thought she was going to take it off the bill. I told her I didn't want the food replaced or anything else food wise and instead just to bring me a 2nd margarita. Reviewing my bill this morning I see she left the meal on the bill, but comped the margarita. As a positive One set of friends had fajitas and said they were pretty good. Another friend had a seafood chimichanga and really liked that and another one had a salad and liked hers. Back to the service--a couple ladies asked for water refills never got that. We had to give one of our empty Margarita glasses in order to have them put a new Margarita in it because they didn't have enough glasses I guess at the bar??! Funny not funny that a Mexican restaurant doesn't have enough glassware to make margaritas for the customer The restaurant was not that busy. And of course because we are a large group of people they add 20% tip. My friend asked her if she HAD to give a 20% tip because of all the things she didn't do for us, or bring us. My friend was told YES we had to give a 20% tip! I guess no matter what??!. I will not be back to this restaurant ever again. There are many other restaurants only a short distance away with much better food (Nando's, Manuel's) and a lot better service.

Winding down my work day with a mango margarita.

We were served by Ana who took time to explain the drinks and items we were interested on the menu. She was just absolutely great! We started with the Guacamole n chips and the Elote. Both were delicious and the chips are made in house I believe. We then had the short rib Birria and man it was onolicious! The beef just fell apart and the marrow with chips was lip smacking good! It fed the both of us just right. For dessert we had the Tres Leches cake and man we loved it too. The cake was moist and sweet but the ice cream was mild so it went perfect with the cake. We were stuffed! We will definately be back again to try more dishes and we look forward to seeing Ana again!

We tried the chicharonnes, which we did enjoy, but the avocado purée that accompanied it tasted very preserved - Possibly with citrus or something else? The tortillas also did not have much flavor. They tasted almost like something pre-packaged that you could purchase in the store. I expect more robust flavor profiles for House-made tortillas. We also tried the ribeye which we ordered medium rare but it came out medium well+. When we told our server about the steak, she did offer to have it remade but we hate wasting food so we declined the offer. We wanted to try the tres Leches cake because we saw another table order it and it looked so interesting. We didn't want the ice cream on top so we asked if there was anyway they could sub out the scoop of ice cream for a single small churro. Our server told us if we purchased the churros, she would give us the Tres Leches on the house to make up for the steak mishap. We accepted the deal though I don't think it appropriately addressed the issue. The tres leches was dense and firm, not like any other that tres leches I've ever had. The churros had a filling (either cajeta or dulce de leche - I really couldn't distinguish) that in my opinion, did not add value. I would've preferred a percentage off the bill or some other proposal to make it right. It just really wasn't there for me. I've talked to several people in the East Valley about this restaurant since I dined there, and seems my experience was shared among those people too.

I never made it over there but I have been to the Chandler location four times since they've opened and had a lovely experience every time. First was during restaurant week and it was so fun to try a variety of items for a very reasonable price. I loved the Chicharron guacamole, chicken enchiladas, and flan. The texture of the flan was clumpy but the flavor was amazing and I love that there was pineapple compote on top. I don't think I've ever had flan that way. Maitland was our server the first time and we were in such a hurry to make it to other plans and she did an amazing job ensuring we had the best experience in the shortest amount of time. I've also sat at the bar to enjoy the all day happy hour, which is such a great deal! Steven was attentive and thorough and helped facilitate when other guests were getting a little excited at the bar area. I have since tried a number of other menu items and I think the fajitas and corn cake are still my favorite! Sidenote: you can add an extra side of corn cake for $3 - highly recommend! This place basically turns into a nightclub after 7 PM on Friday and Saturday night. There are men dressed up in robot suits wandering all over the establishment dancing with the guests. There are guests dancing in the open space between booths and tables and the energy is out of this world! There were even women doing the limbo through the robots' legs lol! I died! My only suggestion for improvement would be to not serve the rice, beans, and corn cake on the sizzling plate of the fajitas because the plate is so hot that the beans, rice, and corn cake burn which is not an enjoyable flavor or texture for me. I have since started asking for that to be served on the side and I enjoy it much better!

It was clean, the staff responded quickly to me, but I was the only person at lunchtime on the restaurant side, and there were only two people on the bar side. Despite that it was loud. They need sound attenuation, My server was prompt, and freely shared her menu favorites when I asked. Sadly I'm not really a mole fan, her recommendation, but did try the enchiladas divorciadas. First the chips and salsa... the salsa was basically puréed tomatoes. No heat at all. Just some salt. I asked for something spicier and the server found me some habanero salsa. That was tasty, but it probably had very little habanero in it. Again, no better than a low-med heat. I grew up across the southwest so to me that was disappointing. The enchiladas? I really wanted to like this place but honestly? It was unseasoned boiled and shredded chicken, wrapped in a raw / untoasted tortilla. And drowned in some that was not enchilada sauce. The red sauce tasted like tomato sauce. I'm used to red sauce being pepper based. The spicier and more roasted the better. No pepper discernible. The green sauce tasted like it had a hint of green Chiles but mostly tomatillo. Also boring but better than the red. Neither was good. I ate it, I was hungry and it wasn't greasy, but... this was a midwestern spice-hating simulacrum of an enchilada. No bueno, demasiada aburrida. So to sum it up; decent but slightly loud facility, wonderful server, and I would say forgettable food but the reality is it was unforgettably boring.

The carne asada was flavorful, tender, and clearly high quality, and the burrito itself was packed with great ingredients and balanced flavors. The added guacamole was the perfect finishing touch.
