The interior was nice, but the service was honestly one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I've had in a while. Our server barely understood English, and even simple questions turned into a whole situation. I asked FOUR separate times whether the spicy salsa was free. I literally said, "If it's free, I'll take it. If not, never mind." The server kept saying yes, it was free... so we ate it. Then the check comes out with a $3.99 charge for the salsa When I asked why it was charged after being told multiple times it was free, the server still kept saying "free" while staring at the receipt. At that point I had to ask for the manager because we were clearly not communicating. The manager said there was a "language barrier issue," BUT because we already ate it, we still had to pay for it. That part honestly blew my mind. If I asked about the price four times before ordering, clearly the whole point was that I didn't want it if it cost extra What made it worse was the attitude. The server never apologized once and the manager acted super confident like this was somehow normal. And honestly... the food wasn't even worth the drama. We went with a group of 10 people. 4 of us arrived at the same time and told them we had a party of 10 - the rest of the group was right behind us about 5-10 mins. There were only two tables available that we could put together to accommodate our group but they wouldn't let us do that until everyone arrived. We were slightly frustrated because if they gave the second table to someone else we never would have accommodated our group. Luckily the rest of the group arrived shortly after we did so we were able to sit together. I'm a bit of a Mexican food snob and I thought the food was mediocre. The salsa was pretty runny and the queso was melted cheese with NO seasoning/flavor to it. I ended up adding hot sauce to both just to flavor them. I ordered the ceviche - one of my favorites. I was really disappointed with that. The shrimp was overcooked so my guess is that they added cooked shrimp into the mix rather than making it the traditional way. Bottom line - the margaritas was good but I walked out hungry with a box of leftovers that I ended up throwing away. I would give it a try again when we're not with a large group, but I certainly won't be rushing back there anytime soon. Overall, 2.5/3 star experience. read more

Went to Fiesta Tapatia for dinner tonight in Spring Mills. Unlimited chips and salsa is always welcome. Some places are not participating in that and to be honest that's frustrating so I'm glad to report that was not the case here. As far as the food, I got Arroz Con Pollo and if I'm being honest, it wasn't as flavorful as I would have hoped. The rice was good but there was not nearly enough queso. The portion was plentiful with lots of chicken, but it was a bit dry and bland. Robbie Fox loved her chimichanga which was drenched in queso. Lastly, we got a to go order for someone else, and the chicken quesadilla was just as much as a small thing of queso. Some interesting pricing for sure. Overall, we'd probably stick to some of the other Mexican restaurants in the area. It was pretty good but not one where I'm clamoring to go back. read more

Food, folks and Fun! An amazing dinner experience with some of the best food out there! From the salsa and chips to the Fajitas and specialty platter the food came out hot, fresh and delicious. We loved the bright colors and ambiance of the place and our server was spot on refilling drinks and taking away dirty plates and cups before they could pile up. A truly wonderful experience with authentic flavors from beginning to end and the portions were incredibly generous. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner, as they can handle a crowd and get you seated quickly. read more

Our server Frank was the worst server ever. We go to this particular restaurant often. The server never introduced himself. My husband asked for a Shirley temple & received a sprite. I ordered the jumpin jumbo burrito. Once Frank delivered the food he never returned for refills, to see if the food was ok or anything. I didn't like the burrito it said topped with cheese, lettuce, sour cream & tomato. No where on the menu did it say tomato sauce that was added on to the burrito. After about 20 minutes I asked the sever behind us to get a manager please. She returned with Frank. I asked if he was a manager which he stated he was then I asked his name to which he stated was Frank. It's hard to believe that Frank is a manager because I am a restaurant manager. I explained all of the above to which he said nothing & the young lady that had went to retrieve Frank for us made sure she stayed for what all i explained to him. If this is how the managers take care of their guests I'm shocked you're still in business. read more

If I wanted to open a Mexican restaurant, I would hope it's decorated AT LEAST half as fun as this place is and that the food was as close to this place as possible. I've been here a total of 3 or 4 times now and, for the area, this place knocks it out of the park. Great vibes inside as the place is vibrantly decorated, the music is spot-on for a fun Mexican restaurant, the service is friendly and helpful, the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable. Always great service! They were very busy and they were working! Parking lot was packed when we arrived and they still had room. Don't hesitate to go in even when you think it's overcrowded. I've orders from Fiesta Tapatia twice since moving to Martinsburg. Carne Asade or steak fajitas are my go-to any time I have Mexican. The FLAVOR of the food is very good, but I don't recommend getting steak from this place! Last time, I had the steak fajitas. The steak was tough. This time, i had the Carne Asada, and it was the toughest, stringiest piece of meat I've probably ever had. I could barely chew it and I literally almost choked on it trying to swallow a piece of meat. That's pretty bad considering I have all of my own teeth. I'll eat here again, but it definitely won't be steak. I don't like spending money on food that's nearly inedible. read more
