I discovered Fifty West Cafe due to Yelp! Fifty West Cafe is located in the ground floor of an office building. You can enter the cafe directly through a door from the outside - or you enter the building main entrance, enter the lobby, make a right - and follow the hallway to the end... I stopped in this morning for breakfast. I ordered the Deluxe Avocado Burrito. You get to choose a meat for the burrito - I requested both bacon and sausage - they were happy to accommodate! And a bottle of cold water. I paid with Apple Pay. The food came up quickly - within 7 minutes or so. I opted to eat in. There are a small number of tables to eat in - perhaps a dozen or so tables. As a returning customer, my five star review has been long overdue. I cannot recommend enough for this hidden gem. This small cafe is running by a couple with a lots of love, for both their food and customers. Hygiene is always above average. Warm and welcoming services. I was most impressed by their high food quality and freshness. Their salads were one of the most fresh one that I have ever had in cafe. And the hot sub was amazing. Don't hesitate to ask the owner for recommendations, he's really helpful every time. I always come here for comfort foods or whenever I want some good quality food with confidence in the health and hygiene. The simplicity of the place.. the fresh made to order food done simply well and clean. The simple calm and respectful manner of the service from both the cook and cashier. this was amazing. I was looking for a quick cafe for breakfast and stumbled upon this place and I am usually skeptical about cafes because Im not looking for a deli but almost a coffee shop to do quiet work. Let me tell you, they were so quick and responsive and so helpful and patient. They deserve so much business, it seems like a small mom and pop shop. I hope they are blessed with so much business because the food was delicious and simple. They didnt have coffee on their menu but offered to make me a chai latte. This is why I love Yelp. I discovered a tiny cafe that don't get me wrong has been yelped, but could use more exposure. How much did I love this place? Enough to crank out review on my phone which says a lot. I found this place by using my Yelp app to locate a sandwich shop close to my hotel. Parking is just outside the office and the entrance is exterior to the building on the left. The Korean owners greeted me as I walked into the establishment. It was around an hour before close and no one else was there. The menu is clearly displayed with the special of the day that caught my eye. They do breakfast too. I ordered the croissant club with avocado that comes with a drink and chips for $9.95. There are also upgrades of chips and drinks available. The dining room was immaculate and probably seats around 25 or so. There is a snack area too! An ATM is on site, however the establishment does take credit cards. My sandwich was ready at the counter with in 10 minutes. Upon unwrapping it I was amazed at the size. It was huge and looked beautiful. Looks definitely did not deceive and the sandwich was fresh and scrumptious! I chatted with the husband wife owners who were so friendly although a bit difficult to understand with a heavy accent. It appears that they are known for their soup and salads which are available Monday through Friday during the lunch hours. When I came in an hour before close they had already taken it down. Holy cow. The Rt. 50 is perhaps the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. I was not expecting this level of gourmet quality from a little café tucked away in an office park. Have also tried the turkey club and the rueben and they were very generous in portion and tasted great. But, I don't think anything can top the Rt. 50 sandwich. I don't think many people knows about Fifty West Cafe because neither did I before opening of Harris Teeters nearby. Due to many trees in front of the building, it is hard to catch this place in sight. My coworker and I saw the free standing sign on the street one afternoon and we have been constant customers since then. Inside of this deli is small but cozy. Many types of sandwiches, including vegetarian ones, panini and wraps are on menu. Their S.O.M.A. Burger (chicken breast, avocado and fixings) is always on point. Taste isn't strong, but rich and flavorful. My personal favorite is Caprese Wrap. It's for vegetarian with fresh mozzarella, avocado, leaf basil, cucumber, and spinach. Though I am not vegetarian whenever I try it, it was not disappoint a single bit. Price is not too cheap but reasonable. Most of them are between $6~$7's except $5's deli-sandwiches. Salad bar is 6.45 per pound with selection of various nuts. Sweet & sour cucumber is the must try. However, I would say the selections of salad are limited. I know FWC is not easy to catch, but if you are sick of boring sandwich, I say you should definitely give this place a shot. read more

Ordered a breakfast burrito from here through doordash. They have a choice of meat as an option only, not required. I'm a vegetarian, therefore I chose to leave this section blank since it was only optional. When I received my burrito, it was filled with bacon. I highly recommend changing this option to required if you're going to put meat in every item that is ordered. A separate vegetarian menu would also be greatly appreciated. I hate wasting my food and money over something that was completely avoidable. read more

This is my first time leaving any yelp review to any store, but this place definitely deserves 5 stars. This cafe is a hidden treasure to anyone of you who are interested in eating "real food". I tried their half panini (turkey melt) and half soup (chill). SURPRISINGLY GOOD. They should put up a sign saying "WE SELL REAL FOOD" outside the store or something, because I almost passed by this place and if I did, I would have regret a lot.
