    Gyro Platter

Came here with a friend for lunch. Apparently, this place has been open for over 20+ years so you know the food has to be good. My friend has been coming here since she was four years old and she is 30 now haha. Got the beef stew and the gyro platter and both were fantastic. Flavors are exactly what you would except from a family diner. Service was good! We were seated right away but you can tell it was busy. Everyone knew my friend so they all came up to say hi so you know this place has a lot of regulars. So many items in the menu. Hope to one day make it back and try something new.

I've been coming here since I was a kid and its still a staple to this day. A great spot for breakfast and catching up with family and friends. The food is just like mom used to make and always has us coming back for more. The service is also very good! Our server was always there when we needed and they got our food to us quickly! 10/10 always recommend this place to my friends when they want someplace the locals go

Went on a Monday night, it was filled with people who I'm assuming are regulars. Waiter didn't come back to take our order for like 15 mins which was slightly upsetting since we were both hungry, but after taking the order the food came out within 10 mins. The French onion soup was divine, filled with bread chunks and gooey mozzarella. The blueberry pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and bacon & eggs were standard. My boyfriend got a shepherd's pie to try out, which was savory and homey. Excellent local diner, will return to try their corned beef, chicken pot pie, and apple pie a la mode!

Great family diner. Very friendly service, extensive menu. Solid omelettes, fluffy pancakes, delicious coffee. Service was friendly and prompt, restaurant was busy and we left happy. Tried a little burning everything- French toast, Greek omelette, chicken tender platter, side of pancakes (plain and chocolate chip), home fries. Will return!

California native here. Came after church on a Sunday and it was packed but we were seated immediately. I really enjoyed the chocolate pancake and omelet. You can't really go wrong! Service was friendly. Parking in parking lot

The service was lovely. The staff treated us like old friends The food was served quickly and the portions were generous, hot and prompt. It was busy when we arrived and we didn't wait long. They have a smooth operation going on for a crowded Saturday morning. There's lots of tables and booths and it's a warm environment. Not too loud. The menu has many offerings. It's great for a quick bite to eat with old school favorites. My pancakes were delicious and their Greek yogurt with honey and walnuts was yummy. I'd return for that combination any day. The service was fantastic. I didn't snap a photo of any of the other dishes sadly. We gobbled them up too quickly

The food was delicious and the service was exemplary (my coffee cup never approached being empty). I had the ham, mushroom and cheese omelet with fried potatoes (I added onions to the omelet). It was a little pricey but it seems that everything is these days.

I grew up in McLean, and it took me over two decades to finally visit one of the oldest places in town! I came for breakfast on a Thursday morning, and was quite excited to try it out. When we arrived, we were sat down pretty quickly (the place was quite full for a weekday morning). I ordered the heart-healthy omelet, which was honestly just average. I was a bit disappointed, as I had pretty high expectations. Pricing is pretty normal my McLean standards.

Greek salad w gyro meat on top. Enough for several to share. Greek dressing was spot on too.

Quality AND value. Take a look at the photos as everything was amazing. Reminds me of the fabulous Greek diners up in NY yrs ago. I see why it is crowded all the time but they sat us fairly quickly at 2 tables as we had 9 in our party without reservations after church.

This is a local place that is much like a diner. The food is not remarkable it is just plain. Pretty busy after church on Sunday. Nothing bad. Nothing remarkable.

The sandwiches are pretty big you can probably share one between two people especially if you want to get a dessert. It was pretty busy on the weekend, but we still managed to find parking and a table. People work on their laptops there so the turn over is slower. The inside is a bit cramped, I did have a little anxiety because there's really no space between you and the person next to you and there's just a small path to walk around. We were planning to order dessert, but the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had stopped by a few minutes earlier to let us know the kitchen was about to close and ask if we wanted to order anything else. That small bit of communication would have made the experience even better. Overall, this is still a great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. My daughter loves the chocolate croissants, cookies and flourless brownies, as I do the standard croissant. My review was more out of disappointment as I was excited to and looking forward to joining the club. And I was frustrated at my inability to join the club. What makes my updated review 4 stars. We do love the pastry items we get, when I ever order a pastry they always grab them from the fresh pastries from the rack and not the ones on display to give the customer the best experience. As for the latte, as I saw in other reviews and have noticed myself, and often in the times I have went, notice new employees on a few times. The person who helped me and made my lattes was very polite and helpful, she may be new to lattes, practice makes perfect. I use to drink lattes almost daily and have not had one in a few years and was super excited to have a latte again. Also walking in I noticed they remodeled and change the configuration of the counter to allow for a nice indoor seating area. Lastly I have heard of My Dads Chips and had wanted to find a place that had them. I have bought these chips here and these are now my family's favorite chips and we order them by the box from My Dads Chips. It's great to see restaurants using and supporting local businesses which is another reason I like coming to Fresh Baguette. I look forward to my next time coming here. I do recommend this place. -------- Went in today and was going to get lattes so thought I would join the club. Was happy to see first month free. I tried for over 30 minute. To join using two payment methods and app attempts were denied. I mentioned to employee I had been trying to join the club but all morning been getting a whoops subscription purchase failed on two cards. She said she would give me the discount and ordered an ice latte and hot latte. The speed the lattes were made I found surprising. As a person who drinks a lot of lattes I know it's a process that takes 1-2 min per latte. She had both done in 2 min. I didn't see if she used a milk frother or not. When o left I opened my latte and it had something o would not consider froth, it had large bubbles and had no smoothness. I asked for both lattes to have vanilla. She only did the iced with vanilla. The Iced latte, being in a clear container you could see the milk on the bottom it came up about half way. It was not mixed and all you could taste was the milk with a hint of vanilla. I would compare the hot latte to one that you can make in an office coffee machine that has packets. It was very weak. Your pastries are good but my god I am glad that I didn't join the club even if the first month is free. On top of that even though she said she would give me the discount, she charged me full price. I would have complained but I have a lot of fatigue as I have stage iv cancer and just completed 39 radiation sessions. Will be back for pasties and desserts, but your coffee products with the experience I had today was vending machine quality.
